Ich kam an dieser HIE, die das gleiche erwartet. Als ich ankam, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass es keine Möglichkeit von heißem Wasser für Duschen gab. Ich fragte, wann sie über dieses Thema wussten und sie sagten vor zwei Tagen. Eine Reparatur wird erst drei Tage später passieren. Mit anderen Worten, sie wussten das und warten, mich zu erzählen, als ich überprüfte, in welchem sehr schatten ist. Ich bat um einen Rabatt und sie sagten, sie konnten das nicht zulassen. An diesem Punkt hatte ich gerade 4 1/2 Stunden geflogen und dann 2 Stunden fahren und den anderen Teil des Tages stieg. Ich hatte keine Energie, während der Frühlingspause ein anderes Hotelzimmer zu finden, so dass wir endlich auf dem Aufenthalt. Und wie versprochen, war es morgens kein heißes Wasser für unsere Dusche. Es ist eine Sache, solche Fragen zu haben und mich zuvor zu erfahren. Ich hätte meine Reservierung auf eine andere HIE ändern können. Aber warten, bis ich da bin, um mir zu sagen, machte mich gefangen fühlen. Als Seitenanmerkung, eines meiner Lieblings Dinge über den HIE Express Aufenthalt ist die Pancake-Maschine und sogar das war kaputt. Frühstück war auch seltsam ohne Eier und eine Vielzahl andere seltsame Angebote. Auf der guten Seite hatten sie die besten Kina-Rollen, die ich je hatte, und der Ort war sehr sauber.

Immer ein Fan der AC Hotels, und diese entdeckt definitiv die Marke. Belegen im Zentrum von Tucson, kurzen Fahrt vom Flughafen und 1 Block entfernt von Nachtleben, Kaffee und Restaurants. Das Hotel ist direkt neben einem Nachtclub gelegen, so dass Sie Geräusche hören können bis spät die Nacht so vorsichtig, wenn Sie einen ruhigen Schlaf werten. Die Lobby ist gut eingerichtet, nicht riesig, aber hat eine anständige Bar. Eincheckung war schnell und einfach, nicht viel von einer Linie. Aufzüge bringen Sie in Ihr Zimmer schnell, nicht viel von einem Warten. Nicht das höchste Hotel, aber Sie haben einen anständigen Blick auf die Stadt Tucson mit großen Fenstern. Das Bett ist schön und komfortabel, die Zimmer sind groß mit vielen Ausgängen und Gepäcklagerung. Das Badezimmer ist groß und komfortabel und das WiFi funktioniert perfekt. Insgesamt wird versucht, wieder zu bleiben.

Vorübergehend gelebt vor Schulbeginn, schulnah, allgemeine Zufriedenheit.

Dina is such a gem and makes you feel so welcome. We chose the Atanacia Room for direct pool access. Enjoyed a quiet night poolside with ample outdoor lighting. The pool and outside seating areas are beautifully maintained. A little backyard oasis -- located in a very nice Tucson neighborhood. The room itself was very clean with rustic charm and turquoise hues. Not exactly shiny or modern if that is your preference. I hope they freshen up the design/decor in that room a bit someday. Breakfast was perfect as were the baked goods available in the kitchen for guests to help themselves to whenever. Thank you for a special stay.

I am giving Catalina Inn in Catalina, AZ (a suburb of Tucson) a ‘1’ rating for my recent stay with them. First, they denied there was a paid reservation for a specific room. Then after about 2 hours and a long phone call from the travel agency GVR they “suddenly” found my reservation. Upon arrival that evening, they had apparently rented that room to someone else. All they had available was a room upstairs or a room downstairs. I am a disabled veteran in a wheelchair, though I do use a cane, I cannot navigate stairs. So I took the downstairs room that was offered. The bed & the TV were about the only properly functioning items in the room. Advertised internet access was not available, no alarm clock in the room & no door hanger for ”Do Not Disturb”. The free breakfast was lacking: no juice, no pancakes or waffles, no fresh fruit and the hockey-puck eggs were cold & dry. DO NOT ACCEPT ROOM 106 if you stay at this establishment. They should not have even offered the room to me! The bathroom had a 6 inch hole in the wall on one side and mildew on floor and wall tile. Especially the wall by the door. The waterspout on the tub was so loose it could be lifted off. It was obvious the cleaning lady only vacuumed the ‘L’ shaped traffic area as there was dust, dirt, trash, and even dead bugs in corners and under movable furniture. Two lamps did not work because there was no electrical outlet near them. But the worst item was the plumbing leak I discovered that night under the floor of the sink at the vanity counter. It is not caused by a leaking U-trap, but by a problem within the foundation pipes. So that water seeps up and into the carpet and adjoining bathroom wall when the faucet is turned on at the sink. The rug itself within a few feet of this area was full of mildew and mold and became saturated with water. I have a form of COPD and a artificial heart valve so breathing mold & mildew could cause serious harm to me! I notified the hotel management the next morning ( as the night clerk could not do anything), stating that either they moved me to a comparable room or found me a room in a nearby hotel since we were going to be gone all day. And they did move me a few rooms down. Advertised internet access was not available, no alarm clock in the room & no door hanger for ”Do Not Disturb”. Immediately noticeable was that the door to room 106 was propped open for the next couple of days and no other work was done. So, the assumption is that this hotel will continue to rent out that room when they can without telling a customer about the health hazards from the mildew and mold.
