The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay and is well positioned just outside the city on several bus routes. The rooms are built on a rabbit warren of corridors and it took a while to find the room on each occasion. If you've been to Ikea you will understand the process of taking a roundabout route to the exit.
A small point that could have been dangerous. A see through glass shelf overhangs the sink at a low level and could have poked my eye out while I was cleaning my teeth. It is centred with the mirror, which is centred on the wall, but I would have moved both to the left to give clear access to the sink. (This was a single room so I wouldn't expect this in every room).

Poor rooms, paint peeling off the windows, mattress uncomfortable, bedding old and itchy. Poor lighting in room. Very dated.

Excellent but very slightly dated hotel but very close to football ground ,shops and several eateries. All staff were very friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble.

Unfortunately the room and bathroom smelt of ammonia, grout was missing in bathroom floor tiles. No plug for washbasin. Bed was awful as mattress sank very badly into the middle.

Got £100 parking fine ,was not told about the car park ,so a very expensive stay, trying to get Britannia parking to do anything about it is pointless , hotel need to sort out this nonsense
