👍👍👍 I had a wonderful stay at Tongmu Youmingju Homestay and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Tongmu area. The homestay is located in a beautiful and peaceful natural setting, surrounded by mountains and forest. One of my favorite experiences was enjoying excellent local tea while sitting right next to the river, breathing the fresh mountain air and listening to the sound of the water. It is the perfect place to relax and experience the authentic atmosphere of Tongmu. The hosts are exceptionally kind, welcoming and always ready to help with anything. They made me feel like a guest in their home rather than just a customer. The homemade food was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, authentic and absolutely delicious. It was some of the best local food I had during my trip. As a tea enthusiast, I especially appreciated staying with a family that truly understands the local tea culture. Their knowledge and hospitality made my visit even more memorable. I genuinely enjoyed every day of my stay and was sad to leave. I will definitely come back, and from now on this will be my permanent place to stay whenever I visit the Wuyishan and Tongmu area. Thank you for your warm hospitality. Die Einrichtungen sind vollständig, sauber und die Umgebung ist gut. Es gibt auch einen Schach- und Kartenraum und eine Teestube. A great choice for a relaxing authentic stay near all the main attractions of Wuyi Shan. A friend and I stayed at Zhuqi Tea House in mid-July. The location is walking distance to the night market stands in downtown Wuyi Shan and super close to the buses that run direct to the Wuyi Shan scenic area South gate. ( fyi foreign visitors must buy tickets or hiking and bamboo rafts in person from the scenic area office with their passports.) The family that runs this house is very friendly and welcoming. They served us excellent Da Hong Pao tea (which is a Wuyi Shan specialty) that this family has been cultivating for generations. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the proprietors are easily available either on site or via Wechat if they are out.

We had a very pleasant stay and would happily come back again. The owner was extremely kind, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made us feel comfortable. The room was clean, spacious and had large windows. The bed was a bit firm for our personal preference, but a mattress topper was provided, which made it much more comfortable. A major bonus was the free use of the washing machine. One small downside was that only disposable towels were available. Also, the property was a little difficult to find at first. However, it is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the nearest bus stop, making it easy to get around. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality. We would definitely stay here again and can recommend it to other travelers.

We had a lovely stay here and the owners were very helpful. They gave us their own tea to try and helped us get tickets for the nearby Impression Dahongpao Performance. The views of the tea terraces from the hotel are beautiful and it’s quick and easy to get either a taxi or the bus to the nearby Wuyi Shan scenic area. Highly recommend!

Sie können auf den Bach und den Dawang-Gipfel blicken und überall ist der Duft von Osmanthus zu spüren. Der Mais zum Frühstück war sehr lecker. Ich habe vergessen zu fragen, wo ich es gekauft habe. Es war eine sehr angenehme Reise.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was big and sunny, very silent, the bed comfortable, the heating worked really well and the shower gets nice and hot if you wait for a while. It’s off season right now, but we were still surprised to see that the hotel was practically empty, it deserves more clients. It’s one of the few hotels inside the park which is very convenient, and much nicer than the ones outside of the park that look really sad and ugl. We much preferred waking up with a view on the tea plantations. The staff doesn’t speak English at all but they’re very kind and will try their best to understand all your needs through translation apps. We ended up staying a day less and they were kind enough to give us the breakfast for free. They will also offer you to taste their local tea in the hall, which is delicious and served in the traditional way which is fascinating to watch. The furniture and overall look of the hotel might be a little dated, but we actually liked it, it gives character compared to all the ultra modern, aseptic hotels. The breakfast was really abundant and delicious, typical of the area which we loved. The only real inconvenience is that didi won’t be able to leave you at the hotel entrance, it will be stopped at the park entrance which is a 10 minutes walk on a road busy with all the park’s buses. The solution is either booking the car directly through the hotel, or ask the hotel to register your didi’s plate so it can enter the park. We did this when we visited the nearby Xiamei village and it worked.
