This is my 1st trip in china. before coming to china I'm quiet negative about this place but after visit jiuhuashan especially the homestay there I totally love it. this is the place I STRONGLY recommended. this homestay it make me want to come back again. The professional hospitality make me feel home even in overseas. Food is nice,host is fantastic n room is clean. A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

很滿意的一次開盲盒住宿，沒想到出乎意料的驚喜，房間空間很大很新很舒服，老闆很熱情，而且地理位置很方便，步行到大願文化園就過條馬路就到了，從山上下來下大雨，老闆還很貼心的去車站接，明年還得住這家，真的好評❤️

Not convenient if you don’t have a car. Hostel is about 2.5 km from tourist information center where a visitor has to take the shuttle bus to JiuHua street to visit the temples on JiuHuaShan or the shuttle bus to the Fliwer terrace (Hua Tai). You may also have a problem if you have a lot of luggages as hostel does not have an elevator.

The hotel just opposite to Dayuan cultural park carpark 4. Cross the road and will reach Dayuan cultural park. Recommended to stay here. Nearby many shops and eating places. Convenient. The owners family are very friendly and helpful. Can also book their car to travel to places that you want.

Location: Walking distance from the gate entrance for free and easy travellers like us. Not far from all the main attractions in the town area. one of the cable car stations is just 2 minutes away and the bus to the other cable car station (to TianTai temple) is 5-10 minutes walk away. The hotel also has a small restaurant. convenient if you just want to stay at the hotel at night. The hotel next door offers great lunch and dinner buffet. We loved the spread. Only thing that you need to take note is the hotel is located slight higher up the hill, need to walk up/down staircases to get there.

This hotel is located stone throw from both the bus terminals, so location 5 stars. Amenities - rooms, restaurant, foot massage center(cannot locate) and Chinese chess rooms. Not sure, how this hotel is awarded 5 stars? Rooms setup - guess it is time to renovate. Heard the renovation project is approved! Cheers! Services - rooms for improvement! As I had a early flight to catch at 9.50am and the earliest bus from the mountain to the tourist center was 6.30am (again different front desk staffs told me different timings) so I tried to request for a paid car service to send me down. They said the hotel doesn't provide such service, asked me to reach out in the streets to see if the resturants or shop owners can provide such services! 1st time encounter in a 5 stars hotel, really a good learning for me in 2024:)

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber angesichts des Preises wirkte die Auswahl an Fleischgerichten etwas mager. Es gab gekochte Eier und Eier aus dem Tee, genug, um satt zu werden. Das Zimmer war recht sauber. Einziger Minuspunkt: Die Bidetfunktion der Toilette war defekt. Das Duschgel war leer, zum Glück hatte ich mein eigenes dabei. Der Transfer war praktisch und recht gut. Einzige Matratze war unbequem. Ich empfehle, einen dünnen Matratzenschoner aus Memory-Schaum zu kaufen. Ich habe schlecht geschlafen. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich; ich bekam vor meiner Abreise einen kostenlosen Kaffee. Insgesamt war es ganz gut, aber ich hoffe, sie können sich noch verbessern.

A reasonably priced small BNB without breakfast. The housekeeper is a wonderful cook. There is a menu for you to choose from. Rooms are small and compact and the air conditioning in my room didn't work well. The WiFi stopped working the next day and the owner didn't bother to even try to reset it or otherwise attempt to rectify the situation. No view from any room of the scenery.
