"The staff were polite and helpful. The location is good for the CBD and transport links, but the street itself has a fair few empty commercial properties and signs of homelessness nearby. The room was OK, didn't have a room safe. Most of the room was clean enough but the carpet could have done with a thorough steam clean-there were a couple of stains."

"Reaching the hotel from the convention centre in a 10-minute walk is walking through a little jungle with waterbirds, palm trees and beautiful nature. "Ich lebte in einem Sechs-Personen-Zimmer und roch einen Geruch, sobald ich das Zimmer betrat. Ich war nicht satt. Drei Typen im selben Raum, einer aus Chile, arbeiten hier und einer aus Japan. Ich war sehr begeistert und fragte mich, ob ich rausgehen und mitmachen würde. Party, leider muss ich am nächsten Tag früh aufstehen, und da läuft ein Franzose in dieser Hose herum :) Insgesamt ist die Umgebung durchschnittlich, die Lage ist ausgezeichnet und der Preis ist günstig."

"Clean and comfortable stay. Walkable to many shops and food outlets. The only gripe is that the paid parking is one street away.
The room is neat and clean. The dryer and washer are clean and well-maintained - surprised that the lint filter is clean and empty, unlike some accommodation that don't bother to empty it. Spare pillows provided in the cupboards if you need additional ones.
Would be good if a trash bin can be provided at the living area, and a drying rack for wet dishes.
Pleasant and helpful staff. Note that the front desk is open till 11pm only. For late arrivals, do inform them. We reached at about 8pm and none of the street parking outside the apartments was not available so it was cumbersome to move all our luggages along with our kids. The entrance is not barrier-free (3 small steps into the main door) so travellers with heavy luggages might require some help.
The building is secure with a tap access lock into the main door."

AAnonymer BenutzerLocation: what's hot- centrally located near the CBD & ”heart of town”. What's not- one of the furthest in terms of walking from Perth station. There are nearer hotels if you are coming from the Perth train station.
General facilities: What's hot- contemporary Aussie art works line the walls of this building, inside & out, making it eclectic. What's not- unremarkable really. Standard features. Although reasonably new, if you look closer, much of the linen covered furniture (viz chairs) are stained and grubby close up. Swimming pool is small. Dining area is smallish.
Rooms: What's hot- beds & pillows are very comfortable! Probably the best feature of the room. Shower head is a rain shower! Always a mark of a great bathroom. The TV screen is large. They provide an ironing board and an iron, which is nice. There's also a basic Expresso machine, which is appreciated. The room windows are floor to ceiling-great views and light! What's not- no toiletries unless requested (eco drive). No tissue paper unless requested. No room slippers provided. No water- so you either have to boil it in-room, or walk to the 1st floor to get it from the dining room, which sucks. Carpets are designed to hide the grime, but on closer inspection, the stains are there, giving you an icky feel. The wardrobe area is severely limited, so it feels cramped when you have 2 people trying to share the same area. Could be better. There is no dedicated luggage stand, so you'll have to do with laying it on the floor. Pity your back & knees.
Service: What's hot- nothing really. All the politeness your expect from any hotel. Nothing remarkable. What's not- housekeeping service is inconsistent & poor. By any standards of a good hotel this is one big area that they need to improve upon. We stayed 7 nights & for the first half of our stay, we had to request for our rooms to be made up and on at least 2 days, there was no housekeeping at all. It almost felt like a third party service had been employed to take care of the rooms which was disconnected from the hotel's standards. An annoyance we could do without & a huge fail in my books.
Breakfast: What's hot- sadly, nothing great. It was ok, again, unremarkable in its variety, quality & presentation. What's not: if I had to do it again, I'd find breakfast elsewhere & save the money.
Conclusion: it was ok. Nothing to draw me back again unless I had no other choice. The fact that it's an Accor accredited hotel makes it even more disappointing. Between the poor housekeeping & the unremarkable breakfast, it's a pretty average hotel with limited repeatability if you had a choice.

Ppetrina yeoWir blieben als Familie mit einem 2-jährigen Alter. Ich würde das nicht als 5-Sterne, vielleicht mehr als 4-Sterne betrachten.
Als wir spät in der Nacht kamen, müde von einer langen Fahrt, gab es keinen Kelljungen, um uns mit Gepäck direkt ins Zimmer zu helfen, und es war schwierig, es mit einem Kind in den Zug. Aber eines unserer Taschen brach und das Personal half uns einen Taschen aus ihrem Geschäft zu holen.
Auch keine Zahnbürste wurde bei der Kontrolle am Tag angeboten und wir erkannten am nächsten Tag nur, dass es zu beantragen ist, ernsthaft, dies ist eine sehr grundlegende Notwendigkeit, zumindest für den ersten Tag zu haben.
Die Dekoration war für klassisch, aber wir fanden sie ein bisschen dunkel.
Der schlimmste Teil war das Bett war zu weich und schluckte in, ich hatte einen Rückenschrank in den nächsten Tagen. :(
Auf positivem Hinweis war das Bad riesig, die Toilette war geräumig mit 2 Badewanne! Mein Kind genossen das Bad. Auch sie bereiteten die Cot in dem Zimmer, als wir ankamen, und ich war sehr zufrieden.
Am nächsten Tag habe ich einen Hochstuhl gefragt und es war rechtzeitig in unserem Zimmer, als wir zurückkamen. Das Personal war insgesamt responsiv.
Das Frühstück war auch Ala carte, nicht ein Buffet, aber es war schön gekocht - aber sie bieten kein Kindermenü.
Die Lage ist nahe an den Einkaufen von cbd, aber beachten Sie, Parkplätze auf Hay Street hat Tages-/Stundengebühren, die Sie an den Wert Ihres Aufenthalts zu beeinflussen. Die meisten Geschäfte schließen früh um 5 Uhr, wenn wir von unseren Tagesreisen zurückgekommen sind.
Insgesamt war dieses Hotel mehr für Paare oder Geschäftsreisen und nicht so kind/familiär Freund, aber das ist nur meine Meinung!

TTanyaI was disappointed with my stay and wouldn't consider this a 5-star hotel. The lobby was incredibly small, and the large mirror at the reception was confusing, making it easy for guests to accidentally walk into it. Surprisingly, there were no toiletries provided in the room, so we had to call staff just to get a toothbrush delivered. The hotel robe was very low quality, almost resembling a kitchen rag, which was a letdown.
The swimming pool was also tiny and didn’t allow for much relaxation or enjoyment. The breakfast spread was pretty average—nothing impressive or memorable. Overall, I didn’t enjoy my stay.
The only real highlight was the beautiful view from our room, which was truly stunning. But for a 5-star experience, I expected much more.

Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und sehr lecker.
Auch Hausschuhe und Bademäntel liegen für Sie bereit.
In Perth scheint es keine japanischen Sendungen zu geben, wahrscheinlich weil dort nicht viele japanische Gäste übernachten.
An der Rezeption saß eine koreanische Person, die Japanisch sprach und mir bei verschiedenen Dingen half.

GGuest UserDie Umgebung ist wirklich gut, neben der Treppe zum Königspark ist auch die Hygiene gut, die großen bodentiefen Fenster im Zimmer sind super bequem und die Einrichtungen sind komplett, und es gibt eine Freizone zur Stadt innerhalb von zwei Minuten zu Fuß. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass es keinen Parkplatz gibt

I recently stayed at Mountway Hotel Apartment in Perth, and I must say it’s one of the best options in its price range, especially for Asian travelers looking for a long-term stay with self-catering facilities.
Location: The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It’s just 1.1 km from the central train station, and you can hop on free bus services like the Red CAT, Blue CAT, or Green CAT, with stops only 100m to 250m away—perfect for easy commuting. Behind the hotel lies the stunning Kings Park and Botanic Garden. If you don’t feel like walking the 300m to get there, the Blue CAT will drop you off effortlessly. The accessibility to public transport and nearby attractions is a huge plus.
Cleanliness: While the exterior might look a bit dated, the interior is surprisingly spotless. I booked a room for two, but the bedding and pillows provided were enough for four, which was a nice touch. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the cleanliness.
Facilities: The private kitchen was a highlight—equipped with a rice cooker, pots, pans, a toaster, a fridge, and enough cutlery, plates, and utensils for four people. They even provide coffee, which I appreciated. However, there are a few downsides: the electric stove is small and outdated, making cooking a bit slow. Also, there’s no salt or basic seasonings provided, nor chopsticks, which might inconvenience Asian guests. The bathroom features a very clean bathtub, but it lacks shampoo and body wash, so you’ll need to bring your own.
Despite these minor drawbacks, I’d still rate Mountway Hotel Apartment as the best value for money in its category. It’s practical, comfortable, and ideal for Asian travelers who want to stay longer and cook meals to suit their tastes. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a home-away-from-home experience in Perth!

SSherree ParsonsIt was a room for the night. Check in was very slow. Unable to connect to free WIFI. Website says restaurant onsite and open for my stay. Unfortunately this is not so. I had to go over the road. Not good when you arrive around 8pm due to flight times, and all you want to do is kick back with room service. They need to update this information. Also, if I was in a premium room, I would hate to see their standard room. Air conditioning is not able to be adjusted (other than turn off completely) and was noisy. Bed very soft. Lack of block out curtaining meant light from street lights entered room.
