La Torretta

Our stay was thoroughly excellent. The warmth of the welcome we received continued throughout our stay. The rooms were warm without being suffocating, quiet, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a banquet and we were spoilt for choice, with portions that set us up perfectly for a full day of skiing. The waiting staff were just wonderful, friendly and good humoured. Evening meals were delicious, exceptionally well presented and were placed on the table with a tempting description of the delight we were about to sample. One thing that struck me, there were quite a few families with kids and the kids were all happy and well behaved. The kids' room/club really works there. Now to the wellness spa. Just great! Three or four types of sauna, hot and cold showers, sensory foot baths, outdoor jacuzzi, people rolling in the snow. I am kicking myself for not going every day now. The only criticism (and I'm digging deep here) was the plinky-plink New Age music with parrots. It's just not my thing, but at least it wasn't Enya. All in all, I am itching to book another skiing holiday with them. It's super-close to the piste, which is the icing on an exceptionally perfect cake!

The best wellness center, they don't allow bathing suits in the saunas and it's a bit of a trick how not to expose your body when taking a shower, which creates a slight inconvenience. BUT - really good place to relax :) The location of the hotel is TOP. We recommend using both hands. We were slightly disappointed with the food, perhaps because we have high expectations for Italy from previous visits to the ski resort area. For example, there were ravioli that were undercooked or just dried out - I don't know, but they were crunchy in places :) The shrimps were quite old and not edible at all, and the fish was insane for an Italian restaurant. Regarding the so-called appetizers, sometimes they were strange to say the least, and as if forcibly assembled - they did not happen to predispose us to an appetite. But overall we didn't go hungry, the desserts were good and I repeat - we just expected more based on our previous visit to another hotel in the village, previous years where the chef was really up to par :)

Great location - next to the slopes. Fabulous food, wonderful wellness centre, spacious and immaculate rooms, lovely family run hotel with great staff. If you are not staying here try the pizza restaurant.

Another amazing family ski holiday at La Torretta, excellent location and lovely family run hotel. The kids feel at home at the kids club and parents can really relax after dinner. Great choice of food and drinks at the bar and restaurant.

Family owned hotel, very comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, warm and quiet. The hotel is very close to the slopes, with the Valena lift less than 5 minutes walk from the well equipped ski-room (includes heated ski-boot rack). From the top of the Valena piste it is possible to access the many other lifts in Tonale. In the main restaurant, the pizza is fantastic but an excellent range of other menu options is also always available. The Wellness Centre/Spa is surprisingly large, enjoyable and well thought out. We really enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi! Overall a perfect ski-break and we’ll be back again.

Wonderful friendly hotel in a perfect location where nothing is too much trouble. Lovely spacious comfortable rooms. Breakfast is good, the pizzeria is excellent and dinner on half board basis is excellent too. Good wine choice and very reasonable prices throughout. We intend to return next year and would highly recommend this hotel.

The food was overall good and delicious, but the service was questionable, because as soon as we was done eating we got asked if we wanted any dessert, and after saying no we then got kicked out even tho there was other tables free. And it wasn’t like we stayed there for hours.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and accommodated our every need. They made our holiday stay very special for our family. The food is amazing at their restaurant and they are able to accommodate dietary needs. The facilities are fantastic! The rooms have been newly renovated and the wellness spa is just what you need after a long day on the slopes. I would definitely recommend Hotel La Torretta to others!

For skiers, perfect location next to the ski lifts. Very friendly staff. Clean and nice room and bathroom. Good breakfast buffet. Fantastic spa and wellness area. Free parking in the front of the hotel. The only negative is the lack of mountain view in our room and in the dining room.
