Beste Hotels mit Parkplatz in Queensbury

waren für eine Nacht hier auf der Durchreise von New York nach Montreal. Hotel liegt ruhig, nahe am Highway, nebenan kleines gutes Outlet Center, Sex Flags Park usw, 5min mit dem Auto ins Zentrum dort grosse Auswahl an Fast Food Ketten, Supermärkten usw älteres, aber sauberes Hotel mit renovierten Zimmern. Diese gross, laute Klimaanlage, angenehm möbliert. Morgens Frühstück mit Hampton Standard (Waffeln, Eierspreisen, Plastik) Das Hotel hat ein excellentes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Auf unserer Rundreise hatten wir ähnliche Hotels, die aber 3x so teuer . Wer also in dieser landschaftlich schönen Region übernachten möchte, dem würde wir das schöne Country Inn sehr empfehlen!

We checked in on July 1st, 2023. Miss Katie ( or Kadie) checked us in - and long story short , she is the only reason I am giving this place 1 star because it’s all about the experience, even though the rooms are decent and the location was not a surprise. The staff quality influences whether your experience will be stellar or horrible. For us, it was the latter. We had booked 2 rooms. Even though we came at 4 , we were given one room because the other one ,opposite to this room was being cleaned. So we waited. And waited. until 5:45. No updates inspite of repeated calls to check in. No apologies for the delay with check in. When my husband went down, he was asked to check out another room on another floor , which he called me to check. I did that and then I took the keys from him and went to the front desk to hand those back since I wanted both rooms on the same floor since we were traveling with kids and seniors. First, inspite of me waiting patiently in line for my turn, and explaining the problem, she asked me to step aside to check in the next guest. I let that go and waited. Then, when the person after me was checked in , I repeated the issue and asked her to give us 2 rooms on the same floor , does not matter which floor it is. She then proceeded to ask me a bunch of questions - if I had touched anything in the other room (no) , if we had sat on the bed (no) , if we had sat on the sofa (no!). I told her we opened the door looked at it and stepped out. She then told me she did not “ need my frustration and attitude”and that she had already given us a room. THAT ticked me off. I told her firmly that I was not being disrespectful and I was her customer and no, we did not have the 2 rooms that we booked , only one. And that I was willing to wait another hour for the other room in front of us that was being cleaned. She asked me to step aside again to check in the next customer. I asked her if there is a possibility of getting the other room that we were initially told that we would get. She said no. I asked her then what was the point then of asking me if we had touched anything in the room if there was no intention of letting us change it and what was the point of asking me to wait again if she had no intention of helping. It was obvious to me that she was acting out. I asked to speak to her manager or someone else but she refused to call anyone and said they had no one but her (!). She then refused to give me her full name saying she did not have to do so and told me that the room I had , was it. So there we go - that is the quality of people Hilton lets represent their brand. You can be disrespectful to a customer with no repercussions. Will make sure to take my money to Marriott properties going forward.

Das Zimmer wurde aus einem alten Musty-Karton und der Hallway-Karton auch gestaut. Auch, es gab etwas Schönes beim Einchecken, Ich habe auf meiner Discover-Karte auf Expedia gezahlt, als ich online buchte. Der Eingang des Motels, den ich am Front Desk gegeben habe, zeigte $138 auf einer MasterCard gezahlt (Ich habe keine MasterCard verwendet). Ich bemerkte, dass meine Discover-Karte eine zusätzliche $138 gezahlt und dann $138 gekreditiert wurde. Am Ende habe ich bezahlt, was ich dachte, ich bezahlte, aber es war nur schrecklich, wie sie die Rechnungslegung gemacht haben, offensichtlich wurde etwas geschrotet. Betten und Badezimmer waren sauber genug, es ist nur nichts, was sie über den Geruch tun können, bis sie das alte Musty Teppich aus dem Haus zerschneiden und ersetzen. Es war ruhig, ich hatte keine Lärmprobleme. Die Klimaanlage und das Fernsehen funktionierten gut. Frühstück ist Orange, Getreidebars und verpackte Muffins mit etwas Saft verfügbar. Wenn ich es noch einmal tun müsste, würde ich einen zusätzlichen $30 - $40 ausgeben und irgendwo anders gehen.

Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden. Das Hotel sowohl in den privaten Zimmern als auch in den öffentlichen Bereichen war wirklich sauber. Das Frühstücksraum war sauber, geräumig und das Essen war gut. Die Frauen, die im Frühstücksraum arbeiten, waren angenehmen. Eine hat sogar Süßigkeiten ausgeliefert! Die Zimmer waren schön und geräumig. Die Zimmer waren auch groß! Die Lage war nahe genug an Attraktionen, aber auch nicht in der Mitte des gesamten Hubbub. Das einzige wirklich negative war, dass die Vorderbüros-Personal durch den Eklipse gefüllt und aus Handtüchern liefen. Das Hotel und das Parkplatz-Parkplatz schien nie überfüllt, aber in den 4 Tagen, die wir dort waren, hatten sie nie mehr Handtücher.

This place was so much better then the last place we stayed at. My only problem with it was they advertised indoor heated pool. That was the coldest heated pool I have ever been in! It was almost as cold as the temp was outside. Could not even stay in the pool without freezing. Sad cause that is why I booked this hotel.
