Piece Lio war eine perfekte Wahl!!! Amazing area, exceptional service and the room was better than we expected. We were very pleasantly surprised. Before choosing this hotel I read some reviews about not the best food options. This place is truly a little corner of paradise. It’s almost impossible to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay and how special this place is. The owners — an Englishman and a Filipina — are the perfect mix of warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail. They genuinely go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and are happy to accommodate almost any request, always in such a natural and unobtrusive way. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The air conditioning is quiet, the mattresses and pillows are incredibly comfortable, and everything you might need is provided — right down to shower gel and a toothbrush. The hotel is still relatively new and everything is in excellent condition. There are free SUP boards for guests, and you can also rent a scooter from the hotel if you feel like exploring El Nido for the day. And then there’s the food… that deserves a review of its own! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were fantastic. You can order fresh seafood, or even buy it yourself and have the team prepare it for you. My husband loves grilling, so we arranged to get some meat and had our own little BBQ evening. One of the staff members was genuinely excited to help and learn how it’s done — such a small moment, but incredibly warm and touching. My husband also wanted to go fishing, and the local fishermen were happy to take him along. Unfortunately, we simply didn’t have enough time during our stay, but knowing that such experiences were so easily arranged made the place feel even more special. That’s the beauty of a small boutique hotel like this. Unlike huge resorts, they can actually respond to the individual wishes of their guests and make you feel personally cared for. At the same time, there is absolutely no pressure to socialize. Everything is beautifully balanced: if you want to chat, there’s always someone happy to talk to; if you want privacy, you’ll have complete peace and seclusion. It truly feels like your own little paradise. If we ever return to El Nido, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the wonderful owners and the whole team for such a memorable stay. Wir haben dieses Hotel aufgrund zahlreicher positiver Bewertungen ausgewählt. Erstaunlicherweise gab es fast keine negativen, aber ich würde es für einen Aufenthalt in Puerto Princesa nicht empfehlen. Zunächst einmal ist die Lage des Hotels fragwürdig – anderthalb Stunden von der Stadt entfernt, sodass man die Umgebung kaum erkunden kann. Das Hotelgelände verfügt über eine Abwasseranlage, die direkt ins Meer mündet. Während unseres Aufenthalts roch es stark nach Abwasser. Wir gingen am Strand entlang, und der Geruch kam nicht vom Meer, sondern von Abwasser. Außerdem ist der Badebereich direkt an der Mündung des Abwasserkanals eingezäunt. Kajaks und Stand-Up-Paddleboards sind nicht erlaubt. Quallen, Steinfische und Seeigel gelten im Meer als Gefahren. Das Personal versicherte uns, dass in einem abgegrenzten Bereich ein Netz gespannt sei und das Schwimmen sicher sei, aber wir sahen große Quallen am Ufer. Ich kann Ihnen versichern, dass Sie in solchem ​​Wasser nicht schwimmen möchten. Möglicherweise gibt es einen privaten Shuttle-Service zum Badestrand, aber wir haben uns nicht weiter darum gekümmert. Die Pools sind flach und extrem warm, da sie mit Chemikalien versetzt sind. Meine Haut an Händen und Füßen wurde schnell gereizt, und mein Kind bekam eine schmerzhafte Reizung im Leistenbereich. Wegen der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit im Zimmer ließ sich unser Handy nicht einmal aufladen; auf dem Bildschirm erschien eine Meldung über die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit und die mögliche Beschädigung des Handys. Bei starker Sonneneinstrahlung werden die Sonnenschirme am Pool geschlossen, angeblich wegen Wind, obwohl kein Wind weht. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die großen Grünflächen, die schöne Abendbeleuchtung, das hilfsbereite Personal, die gut gemixten Cocktails, die Live-Musik und die abendliche Feuershow. Das Zimmer ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, sogar mit einem Bügeleisen.

We r a group of 4 and they arranged all of us to stay together, thank u so much for this pleasant arrangement. Their breakfast is good, toilet and bathroom is clean. Location is quite good as well, walkable to town area :) U can bring ur own lock to lock the locker if u r a solo traveller.

We stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort. The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich gut, allerdings ist die Klimaanlage in Zimmern mit Badewanne zwar relativ neu, aber dennoch etwas laut. In älteren Zweibettzimmern, die nicht besonders gut sind, gibt es eine Fensterklimaanlage, die recht laut sein kann. Ich empfehle Ohrstöpsel mitzubringen. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: Wenn der Check-out länger als zwei Minuten dauert, ruft das Hotel an und erinnert einen daran. Das ist etwas unangenehm, da Fünf-Sterne-Hotels in der Regel eine Pufferzeit von 10-15 Minuten haben und die Gäste nicht direkt anrufen. Das war etwas unangenehm. Obwohl das Frühstück um 10:00 Uhr endet, konnte ich bis 10:30 Uhr essen und hatte noch etwas zu essen. Insgesamt eine 4,5.

8/10 – A beautiful nature retreat with excellent service, but a few drawbacks We enjoyed our two-night stay at La Estancia. The resort is surrounded by beautiful nature, with absolute peace and quiet, plenty of wildlife, and a lovely atmosphere. We were the only guests during our stay, which made it feel like we had the entire place to ourselves! The staff were genuinely wonderful – always friendly, attentive, and willing to help. They even provided fishing equipment and bait for us to fish from the pier. We also enjoyed kayaking, and the food was delicious. However, there are a few reasons why we're giving it 8 rather than 10. First, the location is extremely remote. It takes around 1.5 hours from Coron Town, including 30 minutes on a rough, winding, unpaved road. Our private transfer cost PHP 3,500. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, so you're completely dependent on the resort. The resort itself is also quite expensive, especially once additional taxes and service charges are included. We understand that operating somewhere so remote comes at a cost, but overall, the facilities feel more like a decent three-star property than a luxury resort. Second, cleanliness could be improved. The swimming pool was somewhat dirty during our stay and was only cleaned properly on our departure day, when a larger group was expected. There was also rubbish along the shoreline that didn't seem to be regularly cleared away. The beach itself isn't particularly suitable for swimming due to seaweed. Finally, internet connectivity is unreliable. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, but power outages interrupt the connection, and mobile reception is often very weak or nonexistent. We stayed mainly to visit the dugongs and turtles, and two nights were enough for us. There's very little to do otherwise, unless you're willing to pay for additional excursions. Overall, 8/10. The excellent staff, delicious food, and peaceful natural surroundings made our stay memorable. With better maintenance, more reliable connectivity, and slightly better value for money, this could easily be a 10/10 experience. We'd recommend it for a short 2–3 night escape, especially if you love nature and don't mind being completely disconnected.

Das Hotel (Gebäude mit 4 Etagen) verfügt über einen Gemeinschaftsbereich mit dem benachbarten, teureren Hotel, in dem Sie den Pool und die Bar nutzen können. Das Hotel ist eher für Rucksacktouristen geeignet, ohne besondere Ansprüche würde ich es NICHT für Familien und romantische Paare empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, dunkel (Blick aus dem Fenster auf die Wand), riecht nach Feuchtigkeit. Es gibt keinen Kühlschrank. Das Frühstück ist mager, aber es wird Ihren Hunger stillen. Die Bettwäsche ist von guter Qualität, die Dusche hat einen guten Warm- und Kaltwasserdruck. Reinigung auf Anfrage.

Da das Hotel an einem Hang gebaut ist, müssen die Ein- und Ausgangswege ständig über Treppen bewältigt werden. Ich habe auf der Website 8 Zimmer mit zwei kleinen Betten gebucht, aber bei meiner Ankunft waren nur noch 2 übrig. Die anderen waren alle Zimmer mit Doppelbetten. Am Ende musste ich in einem Zimmer mit 4 Personen übernachten. Es verursachte große Probleme bei der Unterbringung und ich war sehr wütend. Es gibt keinen Haartrockner im Zimmer und die Badezimmergestaltung ist sehr problematisch. Es gibt keine Abflusslöcher im Waschbecken- und Toilettenbereich. Das Wasser konnte nicht abgelassen werden und alles sammelte sich auf dem nassen Boden. Es gab keine Lüftungsanlage und der Geruch im Badezimmer war sehr stark. Es gibt keinen kleinen Balkon oder Ständer zum Trocknen nasser Kleidung nach dem Spielen im Wasser, daher können wir sie alle nur draußen im öffentlichen Bereich aufhängen. Es gibt keinen Wasserspender, es wird lediglich täglich eine kleine Flasche Mineralwasser bereitgestellt

We stayed 1 night, for easy access to the airport. Walking distance to the bayside walk and lots of restaurants and bars. The bedroom and bathroom could do with being updated but it was cheap / value for money. Hot and cold water dispenser and nice area for eating
