DDaniil66Das Haupthaus mit den Check in ist ein wunderschönes altes Gebäude mit einer fast authentischen Inneneinrichtung. Man geht dann zur Hintertür raus am sehr kleinen Pool vorbei ins 10-stöckige Haus mit den Zimmern und dem SPA-Bereich. Die Zimmer sind schön Kolonial eingerichtet und ausreichend groß. Highlight ist das offene Bad mit einer schönen Badewanne das mit Schiebetüren geschlossen werden kann. Das Frühstück wird im ersten Stock des Haupthausen serviert. Der Raum ist schön eingerichtet und der Service ist Exzellent. Das Frühstück selber bestellt man A la Carte und beinhaltet westliches wie auch lokales Essen. Eher Durchschnitt.
Check in und auch Check out ging flott. Hervorzuheben ist das freundliche Personal. Alles ist sehr professionell. Ein großer Parkplatz ist neben dem Hotel.

EEddy MeisterI stayed at Asiatic Hotel Melaka and booked the Family Suite with jacuzzi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a living area, balcony, and in-room spa bath. While it’s not a true duplex layout, the suite still felt roomy and comfortable for families or groups.
The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Amenities such as WiFi, smart TV, minibar, and toiletries were all provided, making the stay convenient.
Parking is available in front of the hotel, free but limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you arrive during peak hours, you might need to circle around to find a spot.
Location is excellent – close to major attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and shopping malls (Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade). There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, so dining is not an issue even though the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant.
One small downside is the soundproofing; you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway. The lift is also on the smaller side, so it can get busy during peak times.
Overall, Asiatic Hotel Melaka is a great choice if you want a spacious suite with jacuzzi, free parking, and a central location. It’s comfortable and good value, especially for families or friends traveling together.

GGastnutzerThe location was fine and the house was historical but we had two major issues with this place.
First, the water from the sink looked orange. So we were too scared to use it for washing let alone drinking. We had to rely on the provided bottled water.
Second, the toilet was outside of the room (we booked a garden room). So we had to sit in heat and mosquitos whenever we used the toilet.
Additionally, we didn't like that they insisted on paying the deposit which was never mentioned in the booking confirmation or room information. We also had some communication issues when getting back the deposit after check out as the staff couldn't speak English and had to call another staff to understand what was going on.

WWong GLLocation is great as it is next to Joners Street. However, the seems like a half-hearted attempted to build a home stay. The amenities are really basic and anything who wants to here must be prepared for all the shortfalls. I will highlight just a few. The owner has kindly make available mosquito incense but you need to have your own matches or lighter which we don't have. The water flow from the shower and to the toilet sink is quite poor. It was very low on a couple of days and badly affected our conveniences. Lastly, the wall and ceiling are not well insulated. When there are people staying on the upper floor, every foot steps can be heard very loudly so much as that my partner, who is very tolerant of such things, even suggested to go up and ask the occupants to tread lightly.
The place has a lot of potential. But for now it is definitely not one that I would return to stay.

LLeon_EliasHotel im Herze einer völlig unterschätzen Stadt.
Ich war eine Nacht in diesem Hotel auf der Durchreise. Obwohl die direkte Umgebung etwas heruntergekommen ist, liegt das Hotel sehr zentral um die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu sehen.
Viel Ausstattung (gutes Gym, Pool, Parkplatz,…).
Essen geschmacklich gut, Aussehen naja. (größeres Angebot wäre auch toll!)
Zimmer und Hotel sind an sich sehr schön!
ABER leider wird wenig Wert auf Sauberkeit gelegt und das Hotel müsste dringend renoviert und modernisiert werden. Dachterasse absolut marode, Pool zwar an sich echt schön aber in schlechtem Zustand (Fließen wirken als wären Algen oder Schimmel drin), Restaurant dringend modernisierungsbedürftig.
Sauberkeit im Restaurant (dreckige Stühle, Tische werden nicht gewischt und Geschirr mit Essensrückständen) und wie vorher erwähnt der Poolbereich sind meiner Meinung nach unhygienisch.
Zimmer wirkte leider absolut nicht geputzt: dunkle Haare auf dem Nachttisch im Bad und im Bett ( ich bin blond), sehr dreckig unterm Bett, Ablagen leider auch nicht wirklich sauber und die Duschköpfe rostig(Tausch wäre nötig).
Abschließend kann ich sagen dass das Hotel an sich schön ist, eine gute Lage hat und an sich auch viel Ausstattung hat, aber im aktuellen Zustand einfach nicht zu empfehlen ist.
Etwas schade da man alles (leicht) beheben könnte….

GGastnutzerDie Einrichtungen sind alt und sind sauber, aber nicht spotless, so dass Sie vielleicht eur Tisch zu löschen und wechseln müssen, wenn Sie den Staub bedenken.
Der Luftraum ist wirklich kalt und der Schlauch ist nicht wirklich dick, was mich über Nacht zu frischen macht, Gott sei Dank habe ich meine BF zu heißen.
Die Handtücher werden nicht empfohlen, um Cuz es erscheint schmutzig und zuvor verwendet.
Der Boden ist ein bisschen fest, aber akzeptabel, wünschen Sie, dass nächstes Mal ein Slipper liefern kann.
Die Umgebung ist während unseres Aufenthalts nicht geräuschlich und der Wasserdistributor arbeitet, produziert aber kein heißes Wasser.
Es gibt eine Apotheke unten, so ist es günstig, smt u brauch, oso 7-11 und eine Burger-Stall in der Nähe zu kaufen.
