Es fühlt sich eher wie ein Businesshotel an, wahrscheinlich eine lokale Kette. Um zur Jonker Street zu gelangen, muss man ein Taxi nehmen. Das Personal war vom Service her in Ordnung. Was mir nicht so gut gefallen hat, waren die Vorhänge im Zimmer – sie ließen zu viel Licht herein! Das Licht fiel direkt auf meine Augen, sodass ich schon sehr früh aufwachte. Außerdem blies die Klimaanlage direkt auf das Bett, ich musste die Lamellen manuell nach oben verstellen. Aber immerhin konnte man vom Fenster aus die Straße von Malakka sehen, das war ein kleiner Trost.

Ich kann jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen, ein Zimmer im Bali Residence unter Jeffery Management zu buchen, denn es ist jeden Cent wert. Meine Frau, mein Sohn und ich hatten dank der Einheit, die wir gemietet haben, den schönsten Urlaub. Wenn ich nach Melaka fahren würde, würde ich ohne jeden Zweifel und ohne Zögern in keiner anderen Einheit übernachten als im Bali Residence unter Jeffery Management. Alles ist perfekt. Eine atemberaubende Einheit mit großartigen Einrichtungen und schönem Meerblick.

Excellent Heritage Stay in a Prime Location! Perfect Location: Super convenient and within walking distance to Jonker Walk and Masjid Kampung Kling. There are plenty of great eateries and coffee shops right around the corner. Beautiful & Clean: We stayed in the Garden Room, which was lovely, tidy, and very comfortable. Charming Vibe: The heritage architecture gives the place a really wonderful, authentic character.

I stayed at this unit on 1st August 2026 (Sat - Sun). While I checked in around 10:00 PM and understood that immediate late-night fixes might be difficult, the condition of the unit and the host’s clueless, irresponsible handling made this stay unacceptable for the price paid. The host hides behind an automated AI system that spits out completely inaccurate, unhelpful, and generic replies. After wasting precious time forcing my way through to a human, the support was even worse. When I brought up all the missing facilities I had paid for, they turned around and asked me ”what they could do for me” instead of taking charge responsibility. I shouldn't have to tell a host how to run a proper accommodation when I paid full price for the listed amenities. - The floors were sticky and stained. Cleaners were sent immediate in 10 mins, change the floor bucket by using the kitchen sink. - The bedsheets that weren't even the proper fitted size for the bed. - The washing machine failed to function (told me that its broken), and the Wi-Fi/TV setup didn't work (we were absurdly told the Wi-Fi modem was located in a completely different unit's ceiling!, the cleaner told this is New Unit, Wifi Havent install !) - The master bedroom water heater was broken, they went and check, then left the floor with dirty foodprints. Since the water heater couldn't be fixed at night, their ”solution” was to send a technician at 10:30 AM the next morning, offering a late check-out until 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM as ”compensation.” Offering extra hours in a broken, dirty unit while forcing guests to sacrifice their privacy and endure technician repairs on their final morning is not compensation... Instead of offering a proper refund or a fair remedy, the host simply offered copy & pasted apologies (”sorry for the inconvenience caused”), took our money, and left us to tolerate their mess. This host fails to take responsibility even for basic, functional essentials. I’d be better off staying in a homestay or a simple hostel bunk bed. Save your money and avoid Alviv Homestay entirely. Preferring another host for this property as a returning guest. Love the property itself, great location, easy parking, smooth check-in, and low lift wait times.

Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr höflich, die Umgebung und Lage sind sehr gut und die Zimmer sind sauber. Allerdings ist der Wasserabfluss in der Toilette relativ langsam. Ich werde dieses Hotel beim nächsten Mal wählen.

The rooms are standard, with nothing much to complain about. The beds are comfortable, and the location is strategic, with a few convenience shop and kopitiam just around the corner within walking distance. The room amenities are also standard, although the stains on the bath towel were quite obvious. I was also surprised to wake up and find the toilet ceiling leaking. Overall, for a one-night stay, it was fine.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, es ist wirklich gemütlich und die Lage ist super zentral! Nur eine kurze Anmerkung zum Bügelbrett: Es passt nicht richtig, es ist so wackelig, dass man kaum darauf stehen kann. Einige Stühle sehen ziemlich wackelig aus, deshalb benutzen wir sie nicht, aus Angst, dass sie kaputtgehen und wir uns verletzen. Vielleicht können wir die vorhandenen Möbel reparieren. Der Kleiderschrank im Zimmer unten ist auch in Ordnung. Der Föhn funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Klimaanlage ist auch okay. Die Betten sind alle sehr sauber und bequem. Alles in allem ist alles gut!

Overall, the experience was acceptable the ocation was convenient about a 10-15 minute ride to the city centre, which made getting around quite easy. However, there were several issues during our stay Cleanliness: We noticed some smallinsects on the floor. While it didn't significantly affect aur stay, it would be better if the rooms could be more thoroughly checked and cleaned. Customer Service: All communication had to be done online through WhatsApp, as there was no face-to-face front desk service. This was quite unconventional and sometimes made things less convenient when we needed assistance urgently. Room Equipment: One of the air conditioners in our room kept switching on and off by itself and wasn't functioning properly. Even more concerning, the hairdryer had a short circuit, produced a burning smell, and even sparked flames. This was a frightening experience, and although it was eventually replaced, waiting a full day for such a serious issue was very disappointing.

Das Hotel liegt im Stadtzentrum, was für jeden Touristen sehr praktisch ist. Für jeden Gast stehen kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen ganz in der Nähe, Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade, Afamosa, Melaka River Cruise, Malacca Tower und Jonker Street sind vom Hotel aus zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es ist eine sehr strategische Lage, wenn Sie die nahegelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten besuchen möchten. Die hauseigenen Restaurants sind ebenfalls erschwinglich. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig, aber einige Dinge könnten verbessert werden, wie die Schalldämmung der Haupttür und die Fehlfunktion des AC-Thermostats. Die Aussicht vor dem Fenster ist wunderschön.
