Absolutely love this hotel. Its located at the heart of the national park! Park center is also located within the resort, all the nature walks are literally a stone throw away. If you were to stay elsewhere, you have to cross the river. Breakfast and dinner were amazing! The jungle walk, late berkoh boat ride and night boat ride are absolutely must! Boat rides seat 4pax, so if you are in a party of 4 will be the best else you would have to find others to share or pay for the whole boat. River ferry to the village is just Rm1 each way. 1min ride and a avaliable readily, we didn't had to wait at all. In my opinion this is the beat place to stay in.

La location è perfetta: vicina al molo e all'agenzia NKS xon xui si possono organizzare i transfer x Taman Negara ed escursioni in loco. Letti comodi e personale gentile. Unica nota: la parola resort non è in linea con i nostri standard, in termini di pulizia e servizi. Avevamo il condizionatore sporco e quindi non utilizzabile, il ventilatore rotto, tazze sporche sin dall'arrivo e pulizia della stanza scarsa.

All stay was good, just it was informed that hot water is not 24H in the description. However we didnt get to use hot water at all. So we have to have cold shower each time.

Wenn ein Zimmer auf Grund des Alters abgewöhnt ist, dann ist es normal. Nicht normal ist es wenn es verschmutzt ist, das muss nicht sein. Brandflecken im Teppich, abgerisse Griffe an der Lade, kein warmes Wasser dafür ein Kühlschrank der warm ist. Der angebliche Warmwasserbereiter, die Fliesen im Badezimmer stark verschmutzt. Die Laden und das obere Fach im Kleiderschrank musste ich erst mal sauber machen. Ganz zu schweigen von dem Fenster, der Fensterbank und dem Vorhang - nur nicht berühren!!! Fön gibt es an der Rezeption, das Bett war okay, das Frühstück ist eher nicht international, aber auch okay (wenn man sich nicht etwas erwartet) Es gibt auch einen Pool, die Leute die drinnen waren, waren vollständig bekleidet. Ich weiß nicht wie sie reagieren wenn man als Gast nur einen Badeanzug trägt. Es gibt keinen Alkohol, klar. Aber sie geben nicht einmal Gläser her, damit man draussen auf der Straße noch einen Drink nehmen kann. Es gibt auch keinen Zahnputzbecher, den man hätte nehmen können.

If you visit Taman Negara, there are not that many options where it comes to hotels. So try something a bit different for a change and stay at the Balai Serama guesthouse. We did, and we had the utmost pleasant surprise. First off, you won’t find it. That is why the owners pick you up as soon as you arrive in the village of Kuala Tahan. Be that by boat or by bus. For free, that is. Just call them, or ask a local. Where do you find it these days… The guesthouse consists of a sort of main building where the dining room is. The rooms are situated in a building next to that. In the middle you’ll find a beautiful garden. Ijat, the male owner, takes pride in maintaining it and that shows. In front of the premises, there is the river and jungle. Sometimes elephants pass by. You’ll hear lots of birds singing and the occasional monkey. You will also meet Marja, Ijat’s wife. She is from Holland and she will help you with everything you might possibly need. Be it a car transfer to the jetty, or to go out on an excursion. No trouble at all. The rooms are clean, with a separate bathroom, and a good working airconditioning. It is not that spacious, but large enough for a few days. Out front, there is a terrace with chairs and a small table. The beds sleep well enough for most people. Should you want to enjoy a drink, you can just approach Ijat or Marja. They have a selection of soda’s and beer (no wine) which is then charged to your room and you just pay when you leave. If you want, you can book some excursions through the guesthouse. Especially the whole day jungle tour is highly recommended. It is hard to get an experience like it anytime soon. The whole place has a really laid back atmosphere. No rush. Breakfast and dinner are served in the dining room which is entirely open on all sides. The meals are simple, but tasty and you’ll find that is is good and enough to get to to the next day. I wrote this in English as there are quite a few reviews in Dutch already. Apart from the Dutch guests, you will also find other nationalities so this will make it easier for you to read. I can recommend this place highly. We certainly had a great time and after the crowds and noise of Kuala Lumpur, it turned out to be a gem of tranquility. Duży kompleks położony w świetnym otoczeniu plantacji i jungli. Duży głęboki basen i przestronne pokoje. Mógłby jedynie bardziej przyłożyć się do sprzątania pokoi i otoczenia.

Der Hotelservice muss verstärkt werden, die Hygiene- und Hygienevorschriften sind günstig, die Alten und die Staubsauger sind günstig, und wenn es um die Nacht geht, ist die Wahl, dass Sie sich ausruhen wollen, aber dieser Preis ist immer noch idealer als dieses Hotel.

Ich bat den Taxifahrer, mich in ein Hotel in der Stadt zu nehmen. Also hier war ich im Town Hotel und fand später heraus, wie gelungen ich war, es war sauber, mit allen Einrichtungen, Dusche, TV usw. Der Boss heißt Liong, ein Malay/Chinesisch. Er hat mich zu verschiedenen Tempeln, Chinesisch und Hindu, einige aus dem Weg, Höhlen gebracht. Er hat mich auch zu einigen seiner Verwandten vorgestellt und wir haben über die alten Tage der Notlage gesprochen. Sein Vater war im Gesetz etwa das gleiche Alter wie ich (Ich war Soldat in Malaysia, während der Notlage). Er machte meine Reise für mich. durch Erinnerungen und das Gehör über die andere Seite eines schrecklichen geheimen Krieges. Ich sah Beispiele, dass Liong für die meisten Menschen freundlich ist, seine Frau hat den Blumenhandel unten. Es ist das beste Hotel, das ich jemals gehabt habe und ich werde nächstes Jahr zurück sein.. Ich sollte in diesem Monat, August, aber ich hatte einen Unfall. Ich sehe dich nächstes Jahr, Liong. Rex

Wir buchten das Xcape Resort mit einer Gruppe von sieben Personen für drei Zimmer. Wir dachten, wir hätten das Resort auf der Buchungswebsite gesehen, wurden aber aufgefordert, noch zweihundert Meter weiterzufahren. Offenbar ist das Resort an einen neuen Standort umgezogen, der dem alten überhaupt nicht ähnlich sah. Es hatte keine der zuvor aufgeführten Annehmlichkeiten, wie zum Beispiel den Pool? Wir hatten diesen Ort speziell wegen des Pools gebucht. Kein WLAN in den Zimmern, die Zimmer selbst waren sehr schlecht gepflegt, gesprungene Fliesen, mehrere undichte Stellen im Badezimmer, die Toilette war so ungünstig platziert, dass sie nur für kleine Kinder geeignet war (d. h. nicht größer als 1,70 m). Die Zimmer waren sehr laut, vor allem weil der Flur aus halligem Beton war.
