Outstanding Luxury Experience – New Year Celebration (31 Dec 2025 – 1 Jan 2026) I stayed at this hotel to celebrate New Year from 31 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome from all the staff. Every team member was extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating, making us feel valued and comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel truly feels like a palace. Based on my personal experience, it is much better and more luxurious than Sokha Sihanouk Hotel and Independence Hotel, where I usually stay. It even offers the same level or more luxury than Try Palace in Kep. Every detail reflects quality—from the door handles to the bed, everything feels premium and well-designed. All facilities and equipment are modern, luxurious, and very clean. The room was spacious, with a huge bathroom, including a separate bathtub, shower/steam room, and toilet, which made the stay even more comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was the generosity: • Soft drinks and fresh fruits were plentiful and completely free • The breakfast for special for the New Year celebration, breakfast manu • They even offered free breakfast for my two children, even though they were over the usual free age limit — a very kind gesture The location is perfect, with what I believe is the best beach in Sihanoukville. The sand is incredibly clean, smooth, and soft—like ground powder—and the beach area is well maintained. I accidentally took their room key, the hotel staff were extremely understanding. They were not upset at all and kindly allowed me to return it on my next visit to Sihanoukville, which shows their trust and professionalism. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. It is far more luxurious than Sokha and Independence Hotel, and easily ranks among the best luxury hotels I have stayed at in Cambodia. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a true luxury experience, especially for special celebrations

Das Hotel an sich ist größtenteils in Ordnung und die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich und fleißig. Das hoteleigene Casino hingegen ist unglaublich unprofessionell und weist erhebliche Mängel auf. Sollten Sie dort Zeit verbringen, empfiehlt es sich, die erhaltenen Beträge und Geldscheine sorgfältig zu überprüfen.

Die Umgebung ist super, der Strand ist sehr schön, der weiße Sandstrand und das klare Wasser sind voller Schwärme kleiner Fische. Der Service im Buchladen ist auch sehr aufmerksam Jeden Nachmittag Happy Hour für Getränke. Es ist köstlich und kostengünstig ~ Sehr zu empfehlen! Allerdings ist die Sonne hier am stärksten auf der Insel. Tragen Sie daher unbedingt Sonnenschutzmittel. Wenn Sie wie ich mit einer Bankkarte bezahlen, wird eine Servicegebühr von 3 % erhoben. Es gibt hier keine Geschäfte, aber Sie können Wählen Sie Hotels nur für Mahlzeiten.

It’s ideal if you’re looking to relax away from crowded areas while still enjoying easy access to the sea. The natural surroundings make it feel like a private escape—especially beautiful during sunrise and sunset. 🤝 Service & Staff: What stood out the most was the warm and attentive service. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and well-organized. They made us feel welcomed and cared for, which really elevated the entire stay. 🏡 Overall Experience: The resort offers a calm, comfortable environment—perfect for families, couples, or anyone needing a break from busy daily life. The combination of a great location and dedicated staff makes it a place worth returning to. ⭐ Final Thought: If you’re looking for a relaxing beachfront getaway with excellent service and kind, professional staff, White Sand Ark Resort is definitely a great choice.

Pros: + Good location, center of city, near many restaurants, malls. 10mins by tuktuk to the beach. + Can check in early and check out late. + Room is big and has balcony. + Ground floor has a minimart sell drinks, snacks, fruits. + Can request anything via their Telegram like: clean the room, provide towels… Cons: + Receptionist doesn’t speak English. Only Khmer and Chinese. + Room smell cigarettes since they allow to smoke inside the room. + Room for 2 person but only one access card. Request for one more has to deposit 10USD + Standard King room has a toilet and bath area to close. Standard Twin room has separate area for toilet and bath area. + Mini refrigerator not working. (I stayed 2 times and both times not working)

The experience at Mafiya Resort was incredible. The team was extremely helpful and assisted us with everything we requested — even before our arrival at the hotel. To get to the resort, you need to purchase a boat ticket, which costs 30 USD per person. We received an excellent welcome from the staff, were placed in a room by the saltwater lake that forms there, and the atmosphere was great. We had a few issues with the TV, but nothing that affected our stay. The resort offers some activities for guests, and the one we definitely enjoyed the most was kayaking. We also took the opportunity to swim at the beach, which is very clean and calm — there are almost no waves. The food served at breakfast was another outstanding point. They offer plenty of options for all tastes — from traditional Khmer cuisine to dishes commonly eaten in the West. At dinner, we were very well taken care of, enjoyed the seafood prepared by the resort’s kitchen, and were able to appreciate a wine we brought especially for our stay. We thank the Mafiya Resort team for making our stay something that will certainly be unforgettable ❤️

An der Hotelwand waren Blutflecken; ich weiß nicht, wie sie dorthin gekommen sind, und sie waren nicht richtig entfernt worden. Der Strand war menschenleer, und die Wellen waren hoch. Das Essen im Restaurant war wirklich nichts Besonderes; ich habe es nur einmal geschafft, am 15-Dollar-Buffet-Abendessen teilzunehmen. Ich habe mich nicht getraut, auszugehen. Ich fühlte mich dort etwas unwohl, Sie kennen das ja. Die Aussicht war makellos, einfach perfekt. Alles andere war eher mittelmäßig.

Es ist ein sehr ruhiger Strand. Viele Europäer und Amerikaner kommen hierher, um Urlaub zu machen. Das Meerwasser ist sehr sauber!

Unser Aufenthalt im Star Bay Hotel war wirklich unvergesslich. Wir wohnten in einem der obersten Stockwerke und der Blick über die Stadt war einfach atemberaubend. Das Zimmer war makellos sauber und alle Mitarbeiter, denen wir begegneten, waren herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir möchten uns ganz besonders beim Personal bedanken, das unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen hat. Ihre Herzlichkeit und Großzügigkeit waren bemerkenswert und haben unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Vielen Dank für dieses unglaubliche Erlebnis. Wir werden diesen Aufenthalt immer in liebevoller Erinnerung behalten.
