Outstanding Luxury Experience – New Year Celebration (31 Dec 2025 – 1 Jan 2026) I stayed at this hotel to celebrate New Year from 31 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome from all the staff. Every team member was extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating, making us feel valued and comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel truly feels like a palace. Based on my personal experience, it is much better and more luxurious than Sokha Sihanouk Hotel and Independence Hotel, where I usually stay. It even offers the same level or more luxury than Try Palace in Kep. Every detail reflects quality—from the door handles to the bed, everything feels premium and well-designed. All facilities and equipment are modern, luxurious, and very clean. The room was spacious, with a huge bathroom, including a separate bathtub, shower/steam room, and toilet, which made the stay even more comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was the generosity: • Soft drinks and fresh fruits were plentiful and completely free • The breakfast for special for the New Year celebration, breakfast manu • They even offered free breakfast for my two children, even though they were over the usual free age limit — a very kind gesture The location is perfect, with what I believe is the best beach in Sihanoukville. The sand is incredibly clean, smooth, and soft—like ground powder—and the beach area is well maintained. I accidentally took their room key, the hotel staff were extremely understanding. They were not upset at all and kindly allowed me to return it on my next visit to Sihanoukville, which shows their trust and professionalism. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. It is far more luxurious than Sokha and Independence Hotel, and easily ranks among the best luxury hotels I have stayed at in Cambodia. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a true luxury experience, especially for special celebrations

I rented a bungalow at Maloop for 4 nights initially and ended up prolonging for another 2 nights. The service is not the same as in Europe, but it is hardly ever in this region. Keep that in mind when booking something to manage your expectations. The owners are very friendly, and they have some nice accommodations here. There is a small kiosk where you can buy drinks etc, and they also have a restaurant although I did not end up trying this. There is also motorbike rental which seems to be cheaper than the other places I checked in the area. What I mean with the service being not similar to in Europe, is that for instance there wasn't really any cleaning of the bungalow during my stay. Nor taking out the trash, this results in a very full trash can. Additionally towels were not replaced. This is fine for me, and I am sure if I would have asked, it would have been done, but don't expect it to be done without you asking. In any case, I would definitely stay here again. The more nights you book the cheaper it is per night also.

The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and well-organized. They made us feel welcomed and cared for, which really elevated the entire stay. 🏡 Overall Experience: The resort offers a calm, comfortable environment—perfect for families, couples, or anyone needing a break from busy daily life. The combination of a great location and dedicated staff makes it a place worth returning to. ⭐ Final Thought: If you’re looking for a relaxing beachfront getaway with excellent service and kind, professional staff, White Sand Ark Resort is definitely a great choice.

It’s exactly the same as others posted about the 5 stars review. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. You will not regret to choose this place. The location is perfect and only 1 km walk to the beach site . I can say it’s best for anyone looking for the hotel with full and modern equipments and Located in the right centre. I definitely come here again.

The experience at Mafiya Resort was incredible. The team was extremely helpful and assisted us with everything we requested — even before our arrival at the hotel. To get to the resort, you need to purchase a boat ticket, which costs 30 USD per person. We received an excellent welcome from the staff, were placed in a room by the saltwater lake that forms there, and the atmosphere was great. We had a few issues with the TV, but nothing that affected our stay. The resort offers some activities for guests, and the one we definitely enjoyed the most was kayaking. We also took the opportunity to swim at the beach, which is very clean and calm — there are almost no waves. The food served at breakfast was another outstanding point. They offer plenty of options for all tastes — from traditional Khmer cuisine to dishes commonly eaten in the West. At dinner, we were very well taken care of, enjoyed the seafood prepared by the resort’s kitchen, and were able to appreciate a wine we brought especially for our stay. We thank the Mafiya Resort team for making our stay something that will certainly be unforgettable ❤️

Mein Fav-Wohnplatz für jeden Besuch in Sihanoukville, die Sicherheit und das gesamte Personal ist sehr ödmjuk, auch das Frühstück ist einer meiner Lieblings✌️, das Zimmer ist so groß und es lohnt! T

An der Hotelwand waren Blutflecken; ich weiß nicht, wie sie dorthin gekommen sind, und sie waren nicht richtig entfernt worden. Der Strand war menschenleer, und die Wellen waren hoch. Das Essen im Restaurant war wirklich nichts Besonderes; ich habe es nur einmal geschafft, am 15-Dollar-Buffet-Abendessen teilzunehmen. Ich habe mich nicht getraut, auszugehen. Ich fühlte mich dort etwas unwohl, Sie kennen das ja. Die Aussicht war makellos, einfach perfekt. Alles andere war eher mittelmäßig.

Es ist ein sehr ruhiger Strand. Viele Europäer und Amerikaner kommen hierher, um Urlaub zu machen. Das Meerwasser ist sehr sauber!

Unser Aufenthalt im Star Bay Hotel war wirklich unvergesslich. Wir wohnten in einem der obersten Stockwerke und der Blick über die Stadt war einfach atemberaubend. Das Zimmer war makellos sauber und alle Mitarbeiter, denen wir begegneten, waren herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir möchten uns ganz besonders beim Personal bedanken, das unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen hat. Ihre Herzlichkeit und Großzügigkeit waren bemerkenswert und haben unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Vielen Dank für dieses unglaubliche Erlebnis. Wir werden diesen Aufenthalt immer in liebevoller Erinnerung behalten.
