Parking 🅿️is free although walk in dark quiet night but is safe. (Just 5min walk from parking 🅿️ to hotel lobby)
Room is very spacious & comfortable.
when booking with trip.com we requested 2 pillow each bed but they was forgotten
So we have to request from front desk
the staff immediately give us another extra pillow. The staff was very polite & nice.
And it was so warm to me as I was mistaken book a smoking room but did request for balcony Mountain View, luckily they email me & remind on which my room type so immediately we can respond don’t mind to pay extra money for nonsmoking & balcony room But they free to change our room without any extra cost.
The buffet breakfast is very delicious 😋

MMerlin ChanDas Hotel wurde 1997 gebaut, aber das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und sehr komfortabel.
Es gab 3 Einsen für die Gäste, die verwendet werden konnten und sie konnten nicht verpasst werden.
Das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren bemerkenswert.
Das Personal war nett und hilfreich.
Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Berges Asahi-dake. Es war gut, nach dem Wandern im Berg zu haben.
Das Hotel war nicht mit Lichtverschmutzung besetzt. Ich sah einen Himmel voller Sterne und es war großartig.

Schöne Onsen nachdem Sie im Berg sind. Beste um Ihre eigene Nahrung zu bringen, obwohl sie einen kleinen Shop zu kaufen Zubehör. In der Nähe des touristischen Informationszentrums zu mieten Schnee Schuhe, Boots, Kreuzfahrtskis usw..

Even though the hotel had implemented the CCTV audio system to provide clear instructions, the language barrier appears to have caused some confusion for me during the check-out. This can be a common challenge, especially in more remote locations where the staff may not be as fluent in English.

Since our group requires halal food, it's understandable that we did not include the breakfast option in our package. The hotel could consider offering more diverse breakfast options to cater to different dietary needs in the future.

One of the key issues we faced was the need to transport our luggage from the parking area to the unit using carts, rather than being able to drive our car closer to the entrance. This was especially challenging given the freezing -10°C temperatures at night .To improve this, it would be greatly appreciated if the hotel could allow guests to drive our cars closer to the entrance, even if just temporarily, to drop off the luggage. This would avoid the need for guests, especially those traveling with elderly or young children, to struggle with pushing heavy carts through the frigid weather.
Scenery
Despite the challenges, the stunning winter scenery at Auberge Ninguruforet seems to have made up for it. The -8°C temperature that morning must have created a true winter wonderland, with the beautiful snow-covered landscapes and crisp, clear skies. This picturesque setting is surely a highlight of your stay.Overall, with some improvements to the location accessibility, check-in/out procedures, and guest services, Auberge Ninguruforet could provide an even more enjoyable experience, especially for larger groups traveling with families. The breathtaking winter scenery, however, remains a major draw for this property.
We will surely come again to Auberge Ninguruforet, this time leaving our larger luggage in the car and only carrying the essentials we need for our stay in our backpacks. This will allow us to avoid the hassle of transporting heavy bags through the frigid weather, and instead focus on enjoying the stunning winter scenery.By packing light and only bringing what we need for the duration of our visit, we can easily move between our car and the hotel entrance without the struggle of pushing carts through the snow. This will make the check-in and check-out process much smoother, especially for our group with elderly and young family members.Despite the minor inconveniences we experienced previously, the breathtaking winter wonderland at Auberge Ninguruforet remains a major draw for us. We look forward to returning, better prepared to handle the cold temperatures, and immersing ourselves in the serene, picturesque setting that this property offers. With a few adjustments to our packing and luggage management, we are confident our next stay will be an even more enjoyable and memorable experience.

There are 4 units in this building. One parking slot per unit is provided at the corner near unit 101.
This apartment offers a truly practical and comfortable base for exploring the area. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the basic utensils and cutlery for easy meal prep, and the welcome inclusion of instant slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. The microwave was also super handy for quick snacks and reheats.
Comfort is well-managed with one air-conditioner that kept the unit at a pleasant temperature throughout our stay. The washing machine was a huge plus, and we found the designated drying area right above it in the toilet very efficient. The separate dining table was also a nice touch, providing a comfortable space for meals. 2 dryers are outside the building.
With two double beds, this unit is well-suited for small groups or families. We also enjoyed being able to link our Netflix account to the TV, which was great for unwinding in the evenings

Things to Note About the Location
The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful atmosphere. While there aren't many eateries directly nearby, there are two convenience stores within easy reach. Do keep in mind that local supermarkets tend to close around 7 PM, so plan accordingly for groceries.
We found the area to be quite pleasant for getting around, with not many cars on the road. This makes it particularly fun to explore the town by bicycle, and there are several bicycle rental stores available if you're keen to pedal around.

GGastnutzerThis is a little gem in Biei. It gave me cute little cozy wooden hut in the snow kind of vibe. Iooking out from the dining area and our room, the view was fantastic and breathtaking. Few things to highlight
1. Affordable cost.
2. Quite and peaceful space where you can sink in and enjoy at your own pace
3. Beautiful snowy farm view
4. Clean and spacious room
5. Polite and thoughtful staffs who can communicate in Mandarin is a plus point
6. Complimentary breakfast made by the chef was yummy. Thanks to the chef who also specially prepared a vegan set meal for my mother
7. Coffee beans, coffee grinder and tools for drip coffee making is prepared in the room for guests
8. Spacious parking space
However, for old people who are weak and unfit to carry heavy luggages up and down the stairs might suffer a little as the hotel doesn't have a lift access to the bedrooms on the second floor..
The hotel bed is not as comfortable as other hotels in Japan.
Overall, I love my stay in this hotel and would be glad to revisit this place.

아아이워나Nicht schlecht, aber ist es ein preiswertes Hotel? Ich glaube, es ist schwierig, das so zu sehen. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass der Service und die Einrichtungen für den Preis etwas zu wünschen übrig ließen. Der Föhn im öffentlichen Badehaus war so schmutzig, dass es sehr lange dauerte, bis meine Haare trocken waren. Auf meine Frage, ob ich mehr Handtücher bekommen könnte, antwortete man mir, nicht allzu viele. Ich war zum ersten Mal in einem Thermalhotel, das so geizig mit den Handtüchern war. Als Referenz: Ich war in Dutzenden von japanischen Thermalhotels.
Ich benutze die heißen Quellen nur morgens und abends und selbst dann habe ich nur um eine weitere pro Nacht gebeten. Es ist ja nicht so, als hätte ich schon Dutzende Male danach gefragt, also wie kann man so geizig sein? Übrigens war das eine Frau, die mich am ersten Tag meiner Ankunft bediente.
Als ich den männlichen Mitarbeiter am nächsten Tag um ein Handtuch bat, gab er es mir gerne.
Das Essen war köstlich. Es gibt aber Leute, die mehrere Nächte bleiben, deshalb fände ich es schön, wenn es jeden Tag etwas andere Menüs gäbe. Ich bin ein wenig enttäuscht, weil es zwei Tage hintereinander das Gleiche ist.
Sollen wir nochmal hingehen? Wenn du willst, nein. Es ist kein Ort, den Sie zweimal besuchen möchten.
Das heiße Quellwasser war dampfend und angenehm.
Oh, und es gibt Japaner, die informell mit Ausländern sprechen, die Japanisch sprechen. Normalerweise machen Hotels das nicht, da sie für den Kundenservice zuständig sind, aber hier hat das Personal informell mit mir gesprochen. Normalerweise wären Sie dankbar, wenn ein Ausländer in Ihrer Muttersprache mit Ihnen sprechen würde, aber er hat Sie informell angesprochen! Ehrlich gesagt fühlte ich mich schlecht. Zum Vergleich: In anderen Thermalhotels ist das noch nie passiert.
Manchmal denke ich, dass Japaner, die vorbeigehen, wissen, dass es solche Leute gibt, und sich deshalb einfach so verhalten. Aber wie kann man in einem Hotel, in dem man bedient wird, informell mit einem Kunden sprechen?

GGastnutzerI booked with the knowledge that the resort is a bit dated. However, the facilities are adequate and public onsen for men/women were natural and refreshing. I wish the hotel would have special menu for the day so for guests like us who stayed 3 nights would not be terribly sick of repeating menu. Our meal plan include dinner with alcohol and breakfast. Highlight was room view was facing autumn foliage and stream. The smoking lounge that has no door, right near to restaurant - just make the whole place smell of cigarette smoking. Having said that, I would recommend for people who want to explore Sounkyo:Daisetsuzan national park.

KKobe FukaeThe hotel description did not capture the situation enough. I was confused due to lack of room pictures. They also posted several listing for different rooms under different hotel name section. But this room is perfect for us. The location is a bit far (if you are not used to walking) from the station but it is only around 7-9 minutes walking. The surrounding area is a quiet neighborhood. The building is new and very clean. It was also warm inside even when the weather forecast said -14 celcius outside. The japanese food they served was also very good. They provided free coffee/tea and water in common area. They also let us lent their microwave. The bathroom is only one but very clean and comfy. The room has its own mini fridge, ac, and tv. If you are wondering where to stay in Biei, I definitely recommend this place.
