The staff can speak English and are able to provide a very comprehensive explanation of the facilities. There is a lounge where you can get to self purchase cup noodles and snacks and use the microwave. There is also coffee, tea for you to drink. We can see Mt Fuji from our room but the best view is at the rooftop. Room price is reasonable and very price for value.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Bessho Sasa genossen. Die Aussicht auf den Fuji ist einfach unglaublich, vor allem vom Onsen-Bereich auf dem Dach. Das Abendessen im Halbpensionspaket ist ein komplettes japanisches Menü mit neun Gängen, das perfekt ist, wenn Sie wie ich ein Fan der japanischen Küche sind. Das Zimmer war kleiner als erwartet, aber es reichte für uns drei, da jeder von uns sein eigenes, sehr bequemes Einzelbett zum Schlafen hatte. Die Ausstattung ist komplett und der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder dorthin zurückkehren.

Good - The cabins are well insulated for weather & noise. Well appointed with pyjamas, towels, various bathroom supplies (extra can be obtained from snack room) complimentary noodles or frozen meals & bottled water/beer. The beds were soft & comfortable. The cabins were spotless.Equiped with a/c, air purifier & fan heater. In a quiet area of the neighbourhood. Great view of Mt Fuji from the rooftop balcony. Short walk to restaurants & 7/11. Average - I had difficulty completing the pre arrival registration however the staff quickly responded to emails helping me through the process. There are e-bikes & scooters for hire onsite. But you must have access to a Japanese phone number to register the app to hire them. Tourist Sim & pocket wifi don't allow a phone number it is data only. Bad - it is further away from the train station than shown on Google maps - allow 1.6klm to either Fujisan or Fuji-Q stations. The carpark is dirt. The cars or wind make a lot of dust. When raining or wet the dirt turns muddy making your shoes & suitcase dirty.

This hotel is amazing, it didn’t even mention online that it has an Onsen and some of the rooms have a perfect view of Mount Fuji. There is only 10 minute walk to Fuji-Q highland although unfortunately the weather was so bad we couldn’t see Mount Fuji or anything for that matter, and also could not go to Fuji-Q Highland because of the weather. With that said the hotel does not make the weather, it is pretty convenient, although the walk may be a bit far for older persons. Thankyou very much for our stay, we will return in 2028 as our trip to Japan has been so good that we are planning our return already. Hopefully we can do the stuff we missed out on this time.

Die Pension mit den Zimmern im japanischen Stil ist sehr günstig gelegen (in der Nähe von Bus- und Bahnhof). Da es während unseres Aufenthalts draußen schon recht kühl war, war auch das Zimmer kalt. Zwei Zimmer verfügen jedoch über Klimaanlagen, die bei Bedarf zum Heizen eingeschaltet werden können. Bei gutem Wetter hat man vom Fenster aus einen direkten Blick auf den Fuji. Leider war die Sicht von unserem Fenster aus gar nicht gegeben.

I booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space. That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total. There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily. Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30. Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving. Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign.

Ich kam gegen 13:00 Uhr im Hotel an, aber man sagte mir, der Check-in würde erst um 16:00 Uhr bestätigt werden. Also bin ich noch etwas herumgefahren, um etwas zu essen zu finden! Bei der Buchung hatte ich ausdrücklich ein Zimmer abseits der Aufzugshalle angefragt, aber ich bekam eines direkt davor! Was die Ausstattung angeht, merkt man dem Hotel definitiv an, dass es etwas altmodisch ist! Nichts Besonderes im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels, nichts Außergewöhnliches – es hat mich also nicht sonderlich beeindruckt! Ich habe keine Mahlzeiten gebucht, daher weiß ich nicht, wie das Abendessen ist, aber ich weiß, dass das Frühstück 1200 Yen pro Person kostet! Das Hotel ist mit einem Yakiniku-Restaurant (Grillrestaurant) verbunden, und an der Rezeption bekommt man einen Gutschein für ein kostenloses Getränk, den man dort einlösen kann. Ich habe ihn aber nicht genutzt! Das Onsen (Thermalbad) ist nur bis 9:00 Uhr geöffnet, und man muss um 10:00 Uhr auschecken!

Wir reisten während der Kirschblütenzeit, und viele Hotels in der Gegend waren ausgebucht. Zufällig entdeckten wir dieses Hotel mit seiner Fassade im westlichen Landhausstil und waren von dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis begeistert. Es bietet täglich ein einfaches westliches Frühstück und zwei private Onsen-Bäder, die man den ganzen Tag über (auch um Mitternacht) buchen kann. Wenn Sie traditionelle japanische Einrichtung mögen, sind Sie hier genau richtig. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Busbahnhofs Fuji-Q, und direkt vor dem Haus befindet sich ein großer Don Quijote, wo Sie sich für Ihre abendlichen Unternehmungen mit Wein und Bier versorgen können.

Viele Leute kritisieren dieses B&B. Erstens ist die Vermieterin eine Tante, die ein wenig Englisch, aber kein Chinesisch spricht. Sie hat bei der Anmeldung auf Englisch mit mir geplaudert. Da es sich um ein Privathaus handelt, gibt es viele Regeln, wie z. B. Rauchen verboten, Handtücher nach dem Baden in den Bambuskorb werfen, nach 23 Uhr so ​​ruhig wie möglich sein, morgens nach dem Frühstück das Geschirr spülen usw. Ich lebe mit meinem Sohn zusammen, diese Regeln stellen für uns kein großes Problem dar, daher fühlen wir uns im Großen und Ganzen wohl. Und weil wir vor 20 Uhr eincheckten, schickte uns der Vermieter ein Frühstück, das Brot, Spiegeleier, Würstchen und Salat enthielt. Es schmeckte wirklich gut.
