JJeffDieses Thermalbadhotel liegt auf einem Berggipfel. Die Fahrt dorthin dauert etwa eine Stunde, aber die Aussicht ist die Mühe absolut wert – der Sternenhimmel war nachts einfach wunderschön. Auch der Außenbereich des Thermalbads war sehr gemütlich. Allerdings hat das Hotel keinen Aufzug, daher empfiehlt es sich, mit kleinem Gepäck zu reisen. Das Abendessen war wirklich sehr lecker und frisch, und das Aomori-Apfelbier war einfach himmlisch. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine große Auswahl an Speisen, von englischen bis hin zu japanischen Gerichten. Was uns allerdings nicht so gut gefallen hat, war die blaue Arbeitskleidung für den Innenbereich. Sie sah nicht besonders schick aus und erinnerte eher an die Kleidung von Masseuren. Haha

JJ. SimonLess than 5 mins walk to and from JR Shin-Aomori Station (East exit) which also houses the Aomori Tourist Information Centre.
I chose to stay near this JR Shin-Aomori station instead of JR Aomori station as the shinkansen doesn’t go to JR Aomori station. I need to take the shinkansen early in the morning on the following day to go to Akita and then transfer to the Akita shinkansen to head to my next accommodation in Tazawako.
From JR Shin-Aomori station, it’s convenient to take limited express trains direct to Hirosaki station to visit Hirosaki Castle and Park. It’s also a short journey to JR Aomori station which is where the city centre of Aomori is located.
Other than the F&B shops within Shin-Aomori station which close very early around 8pm if I recall correctly, there aren’t any F&B shops around the hotel.
Both Family Mart and Lawsons convenience stores are located a few mins walk from the South exit of the train station which is located on the other end of the station.

GGuest UserFür weniger als 1400 kommt das Abendessen zum Abendessen, das Frühstück kommt heraus. Nach dem Frühstück trinkt jeder eine Tasse Kaffee oder Tee an der Bar. Schließlich ist Aomori sehr klein. Ich lebe für einen Tag in der Stadt, um das Haus des Sandmannes und meine Lieblingslochkarte zu sehen. Hoshino, warum nicht versuchen! Heutzutage ist es nicht einfach, eine Straße mit heißen Quellen zu finden, die nicht im alten Wald in den Bergen liegt (die Hotels in Asamushi sind tatsächlich etwas verstreut). Sprechen Sie über die Mängel, das Hotel empfängt Sie kostenlos, aber Sie müssen nach Ihrer Ankunft am Bahnhof Asamushi einen Termin vereinbaren oder anrufen. GGastnutzerThe hotel is conveniently located just opposite Aomori station and is on a small shopping street with food and a Daiso. The hotel lift lobby is also connected to a Lawson downstairs! It is a short walk away from A Factory and the bay. The room was very clean and had everything I needed for my stay. The receptionist could also communicate well in English and were very helpful and friendly. Since I reached the hotel before check-in time, the receptionist offered to help to put my luggage in my room when it is ready, while I went out sight-seeing. It was a nice gesture that I had not experienced at other hotels before, thank you!

GGastnutzerThe hotel was great and the view is unbeatable. The ”bath with a view” is incredible and relaxing. It's a bit further out of the already very small town than other locations, so you're going to be in for a 10 ish minute walk to anywhere except the beach. The hotel staff does not speak much English, but were very helpful all the same. The WiFi didn't really reach all the way to my room. Overall, great stay!

GGastnutzerWe stayed at Asamushi Onsen (about 20mins drive from Aomori downtown) as part of our 2025 Spring trip to Aomori area, and booked Tstsumikan Onsen hotel to stay for the night. The hotel location is great. I think all guest rooms come with open ocean view. No private hot spring tub in the guest room but the large gender-specific hot spring pools are open privately to the overnight stay guests from 8PM to the next morning. The stay comes with 2 meals. The food is good and the dinner was served directly in the guest room. The next morning Japanese breakfast was served in the great tatami dinning room, and the breakfast package even comes with free coffee in the gift shop café after the meal. The staff are warm, and the service is good. My recommendation to this hotel come with no hesitation.

Die Lage war gut, nur eine Gehminute vom Bahnhof Asamushi Onsen entfernt, aber die Einrichtungen waren durchschnittlich. Da es abends in der Nähe nichts zu essen gab, nahmen wir eine schnelle Mahlzeit in einem Ramen-Restaurant ein und gönnten uns anschließend leckeres Bier und Snacks in einem Craft-Beer-Laden, der nur 30 Sekunden zu Fuß vom Gasthof entfernt war. Den Preis empfand ich als etwas hoch, daher werde ich beim nächsten Mal wahrscheinlich eine andere Unterkunft wählen.
