Breakfast was decent with a fair selection. One thing to note—if you're a light sleeper like me, you might wake up early due to the nearby prayer call, as the sound carries quite clearly into the room. That said, I understand and respect the local culture, and it’s something to be aware of for those with sensitive sleep schedules. Overall, a pleasant stay.

We stayed at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama for our honeymoon for 3 nights and 4 days, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. My wife absolutely loved everything about this hotel, and so did I. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed by Wike from the front office, and she truly made our stay extra special. She was always smiling, respectful, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. She even offered us free activities and vouchers, which was such a nice touch. The biggest surprise was that we got upgraded to the Executive Suite, the highest room category in the hotel. Huge thanks to Wike for making our honeymoon unforgettable! The room itself was unbelievable. Beautiful views, a huge living room, separate bedroom, and an amazing bathroom with a bathtub overlooking the view. Everything felt luxurious and very comfortable. Since it was our honeymoon, the room was also beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with a fruit basket, which made us feel really special. Breakfast was another highlight. The variety was insane so many options that we honestly didn’t know what to choose. Everything we tried was delicious. One thing that really stood out was the staff. I’ve traveled quite a lot, but the service here felt different. Every single staff member we met smiled, greeted us warmly, checked if everything was okay, and helped immediately whenever needed. You can really feel the genuine hospitality here. We also received a complimentary photoshoot from the hotel, which was such a lovely experience. The photographer was great, and we even got a printed photo in a frame to take home as a memory. The only disappointing part during our stay was the Teppanyaki experience at the Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The chef only cooked in front of us without any interaction or entertainment, and when I tried making conversation, she seemed annoyed. Considering how expensive it was, it honestly felt very underwhelming. I personally wouldn’t recommend the Teppanyaki experience there. Other than that, everything was truly amazing. Even though I don’t remember everyone’s names, thank you to every single staff member who made our honeymoon so memorable. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again. It’s a very nice hotel spacious enough , I get an up grade from Mountain View room into bathtub room. Breakfast is complete and variously… And there is a restaurant just across the hotel

Das Hotel ist erst 6 Monate alt, der Parkplatz ist flach, weil der Parkplatz eng ist, der Sicherheitsdienst ist sehr hilfsbereit, die Reservierungsverwaltung muss neu organisiert werden, die Zimmer sind sauber, das neueste Android-TV verfügt über Netflix-YouTube-TV-Kanäle, Das Internet-WLAN ist mit dem Fernseher für Telefongespräche verbunden und die Zimmer sind alle modern digital ausgestattet, so dass es für diejenigen, die technisch keine Ahnung haben, schwierig ist, eine Gegensprechanlage zu nutzen. Zum Frühstück gibt es nicht genügend Sitzplätze und Tische, also suchen Sie sich einen Platz weit genug entfernt. Ich habe das Gefühl, nicht bereit genug zu sein.

Ein guter Ort für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp, da man die meiste Zeit für Ausflüge zu Attraktionen wie Sewu und Bromo verbringt, die frühes Aufstehen und spätes Zurückkommen erfordern. Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet, vermutlich direkt im Zentrum von Malang, was Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sehr zugänglich macht. Die Ausstattung war eher mittelmäßig, man sollte hier keine hohen Erwartungen haben. Das Personal war jedoch recht hilfsbereit; man muss nur seine Wünsche äußern. Einen Föhn muss man an der Rezeption erfragen, und der hatte dann auch kaum Power – total unbrauchbar!

Mein Aufenthalt im Regents Hotel Malang war komfortabel und unglaublich praktisch, insbesondere für meinen geplanten Besuch des Mount Bromo. Dank seiner Lage war das Hotel ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, da ich den Berg für meine Sonnenaufgangstour schnell erreichen konnte. Die Lobby und die gesamte Atmosphäre des Hotels strahlten eine einladende Wärme aus und verbanden modernen Komfort mit traditionellem javanischem Dekor. Mein Zimmer war geräumig und gut ausgestattet und bot einen Blick auf wunderschöne Gärten – ein ruhiger Ort zum Entspannen nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag. Das Hotelrestaurant war ein weiteres Highlight. Das abwechslungsreiche Frühstücksbuffet reichte von frisch gebackenem Gebäck bis hin zu lokalen Spezialitäten. So konnte ich mich vor meinen Abenteuern am nächsten Tag stärken. Auch die Hotelangestellten waren sehr hilfsbereit und gaben mir Tipps zu den besten Routen zum Bromo und unterstützten mich sogar bei der Organisation des Transports. Insgesamt bot das Regents Hotel Malang einen komfortablen und angenehmen Aufenthalt, der es mir leicht machte, den Bromo zu erkunden und die Schönheit von Malang zu genießen!

This hotel is strategically located along the main road. There are a lot of restaurants, cafe and convenient stores nearby. In terms of rooms, we are happy to book a room. We get 2 big beds and in one room, four adults can sleep comfortably. Toilet is divided into shower cubicle, sink and vanity mirror and toilet bowl. My comment is that shower cubicle is only half closed and it's missing proper glass door. Therefore, shower water spills into the sink and mirror section. When it's wet, the tile is quite slippery. So, walk carefully. Two breakfast coupons worth IDR50,000.00 each are given for each room. You can have your breakfast delivered to your room or you can dine at the restaurant. The restaurant is located in the building next to the hotel. We were informed that the restaurant is under the same management as the hotel. The food is good. We ordered bubur ayam a few times as it is good. Nasi goreng Jawa is very delicious. There are chicken slices and cabbage slices. It's well cooked and the portion is generous. What is interesting about this hotel? It has a rooftop restaurant and you can take pictures of Malang city from up there.

I have an exam ongoing at Brawijaya University, and this hotel's location is just right—only 1.1 km by car from UB. Recommended. The only things that need to be improved are the amenities (hair dryer) and the lift.

Eine neue, tolle Erfahrung für uns. Anfangs waren wir etwas zögerlich, in diesem Hotel zu übernachten, aber die Neugier auf die viktorianische Architektur hat uns überzeugt. Und tatsächlich war es für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie unglaublich schön und luxuriös. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Zimmer wirken etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Instandhaltung, besonders bei den Badarmaturen, ließ zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten gestern ein leicht verstopftes Waschbecken und die Klimaanlage im Zimmer kühlte nicht ausreichend, obwohl sie auf 18° eingestellt war. Dies wurde jedoch durch den schnellen, reaktionsfreudigen und zufriedenstellenden Service wieder wettgemacht. Wir hoffen, dass das Hotel weiterhin erfolgreich bleibt und die Zimmerausstattung bald modernisiert wird. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.
