RrainbowactiveSuper great hotel. Really clean, nice staff and amazing, I mean amazing, breakfast. The breakfast had so many western and Indonesian options. Even some Chinese options that I was happy to see. They can even make fresh noodles or cook eggs for you.
The staff was so accommodating. We went on a three day trip and they let us keep our luggage there for those days. They also helped up to order taxis and figure out how to get train tickets.
Next to the hotel is a nice bakery, I enjoyed eating their sweets while drinking some tea provided by the hotel and looking out the window 😊

Room is adequate, however you can hear people dragging chairs from the upper floor as it is tiles insteas of carpeted. Rooms and amenities looks dated and tired. Breakfast selection is Indonesian food and taste good.

LLihuiqunDas WLAN war gut. Die Einrichtung war zwar etwas veraltet, aber noch akzeptabel. Die Qualität der Hausschuhe war durchschnittlich. Der Pool war super und das Bett sehr bequem. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Eine Moschee in der Nähe sorgte dafür, dass man nachts durch Gebetsrufe geweckt wurde. Das chinesische Restaurant war leider sehr enttäuschend.

AAnonymer BenutzerThey have variety of food for the breakfast which is great. However, the cafe of the hotel (Napa Eatery & Bar), was not as great. Food took 30mins to serve when my family is the only one there for dinner. The taste of the food was not really on par with the reviews that I've seen.
The hotel services is not as great. They reassured us that they will provide the things that are not in the room (example: iron for ironing clothes), but, we did not receive it.

Got a room on the 8th floor: fast Wi-Fi up to 30 Mbps, and a wonderful night sky view.
Highlights:
Varied and delicious breakfast. A complete menu is available — appetizers, buffet breakfast, egg corner, Asian and Western dishes (photos attached).
Very strategic location, close to a mall, Brawijaya University, and Muhammadiyah University.
GoFood and GrabFood friendly. At night, there are tons of great food options nearby — from penyetan, martabak, red fried rice, and more — all within 0–30 minutes delivery range.
Free parking for hotel guests, both at the open lobby area and in the basement.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always greeting me with warm smiles and going out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect. Their professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out.
Breakfast was another highlight of my stay. The variety of dishes offered was impressive, catering to both local and international tastes. Each meal was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious, giving me the perfect start to my day.
Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Ibis Malang for anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and enjoyable stay. I can't wait to return!

AAnonymer BenutzerDas Malang Royal Palace Hotel liegt in guter Lage nahe dem Stadtzentrum. Gleich rechts vom Hoteleingang befinden sich zahlreiche Garküchen, die indonesische Snacks und einheimisches Obst anbieten. Wer die indonesische Küche kennt, wird hier fündig.
Die Hotellobby ist recht klein, und auch die wenigen Gästezimmer sind recht klein. Die Sauberkeit ist akzeptabel, die Badezimmerausstattung jedoch sehr spartanisch: Es gibt nur eine Zahnbürste und keine Seife, was das Hotel für Geschäftsreisende ungeeignet macht.

Mmrs.ichaEine neue, tolle Erfahrung für uns. Anfangs waren wir etwas zögerlich, in diesem Hotel zu übernachten, aber die Neugier auf die viktorianische Architektur hat uns überzeugt. Und tatsächlich war es für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie unglaublich schön und luxuriös. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Zimmer wirken etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Instandhaltung, besonders bei den Badarmaturen, ließ zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten gestern ein leicht verstopftes Waschbecken und die Klimaanlage im Zimmer kühlte nicht ausreichend, obwohl sie auf 18° eingestellt war. Dies wurde jedoch durch den schnellen, reaktionsfreudigen und zufriedenstellenden Service wieder wettgemacht. Wir hoffen, dass das Hotel weiterhin erfolgreich bleibt und die Zimmerausstattung bald modernisiert wird. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.
