Beim ersten Mal wollte ich hier nur eine Nacht verbringen, bevor ich in ein anderes Hostel weiterziehe, da es hier bezahlbar ist. Ich kam spät abends an und wurde von Mba Gabriel herzlich empfangen, die mich sogar vorher kontaktiert und mir die Lage des Hostels mitgeteilt hatte. Anfangs war ich etwas skeptisch, da ich dachte, es wäre nur eine normale Begrüßung. Doch als ich ankam, fühlte ich mich wie von einer Mutter empfangen. Ihre Schwester, Mba Diana, war genauso herzlich; sie begrüßte mich am Nachmittag, als ich zurückkam. Ich hielt sie für Mba Gabriel, weil ich die beiden nicht auseinanderhalten konnte 😂 Übrigens verlängerte ich meinen Aufenthalt um drei weitere Nächte, da das Hostel sehr sauber ist, gut riecht und das Zimmer toll ist. Überzeugen Sie sich selbst! Zwei Wochen später reiste ich zurück nach Malang und übernachtete wieder hier. Es fühlte sich an wie zu Hause, haha. Der Preis ist erschwinglich. Der Service ist erstklassig und es fühlt sich an wie zu Hause ❤️ Wenn ich wieder nach Malang komme, ist ein Aufenthalt hier ein Muss, denn man kann sich mit ihnen über alles Mögliche unterhalten und bekommt Tipps für Restaurants und Restaurants. It’s a very nice hotel spacious enough , I get an up grade from Mountain View room into bathtub room. Breakfast is complete and variously… And there is a restaurant just across the hotel

The hotel is clean and the facilities are well maintained, though they are a bit limited. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was decent with a fair selection. One thing to note—if you're a light sleeper like me, you might wake up early due to the nearby prayer call, as the sound carries quite clearly into the room. That said, I understand and respect the local culture, and it’s something to be aware of for those with sensitive sleep schedules. Overall, a pleasant stay.

We stayed at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama for our honeymoon for 3 nights and 4 days, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. My wife absolutely loved everything about this hotel, and so did I. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed by Wike from the front office, and she truly made our stay extra special. She was always smiling, respectful, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. She even offered us free activities and vouchers, which was such a nice touch. The biggest surprise was that we got upgraded to the Executive Suite, the highest room category in the hotel. Huge thanks to Wike for making our honeymoon unforgettable! The room itself was unbelievable. Beautiful views, a huge living room, separate bedroom, and an amazing bathroom with a bathtub overlooking the view. Everything felt luxurious and very comfortable. Since it was our honeymoon, the room was also beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with a fruit basket, which made us feel really special. Breakfast was another highlight. The variety was insane so many options that we honestly didn’t know what to choose. Everything we tried was delicious. One thing that really stood out was the staff. I’ve traveled quite a lot, but the service here felt different. Every single staff member we met smiled, greeted us warmly, checked if everything was okay, and helped immediately whenever needed. You can really feel the genuine hospitality here. We also received a complimentary photoshoot from the hotel, which was such a lovely experience. The photographer was great, and we even got a printed photo in a frame to take home as a memory. The only disappointing part during our stay was the Teppanyaki experience at the Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The chef only cooked in front of us without any interaction or entertainment, and when I tried making conversation, she seemed annoyed. Considering how expensive it was, it honestly felt very underwhelming. I personally wouldn’t recommend the Teppanyaki experience there. Other than that, everything was truly amazing. Even though I don’t remember everyone’s names, thank you to every single staff member who made our honeymoon so memorable. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Möbel sind hochwertig, aber nicht sehr bequem und die Bettwäsche passt nicht auf die Matratze. Das WLAN ist nutzlos – ich musste meistens auf mobile Daten zurückgreifen und das WLAN ausschalten. Es war beunruhigend, dass bei jeder Zimmerreinigung die Klimaanlage auf 15 Grad eingestellt wurde. Frühstück gibt es nur für zwei Personen, nicht für Singles.

Gutes Hotel, auf Sauberkeit wird geachtet, Personal ist freundlich und es fallen keine Zusatzkosten an. Sehr zufriedenstellend

Sie haben eine große Auswahl an Speisen zum Frühstück, was großartig ist. Das Café des Hotels (Napa Eatery & Bar) war jedoch nicht so toll. Es dauerte 30 Minuten, bis das Essen serviert wurde, obwohl meine Familie die einzige war, die zum Abendessen dort war. Der Geschmack des Essens entsprach nicht wirklich den Bewertungen, die ich gelesen habe. Der Hotelservice ist nicht so toll. Sie versicherten uns, dass sie die Dinge bereitstellen würden, die nicht im Zimmer sind (z. B. ein Bügeleisen zum Bügeln von Kleidung), aber wir haben es nicht bekommen.

The hotel strictly requires you to pay deposit of 200 thousand rupiah when you already have prepaid full. I don’t see the need to pay a deposit of such amount because theere isn’t any mini bar provided in the rooms. I booked a king premium room with the balcony and with breakfast!! There is no mini fridge at all, no tissue, no coffee and no tea sachets, no electric kettle. The soap is so small and the shampoo and shower gel is very small bottles also. I paid the room with breakfast but The breakfast provided is not even a buffet! For halal breakfast, you have to go next door cafe and the hotel only gave you breakfast coupon of 50 000 rupiah for each person!! And you have to pay some more for the breakfast because the money coupon the hotel gave is not enough to claim for the breakfast food!! Ridiculous service this hotel has. Usually if you paid the room with breakfast, you dont have to pay anything more! Even the hotel towels not clean! The cafe in the hotel at roof top is NON Halal which serves pork. Muslims not recommended to stay here due to non halal food which has pork. Honestly, we didn’t know until we stayed here. Luckily it was only one night. But it was terrible with no amenities and service staffs not welcoming and not smiling genuinely. Only the location is good at Kayoetangan. But you can choose the Whiz Prime Hotel which is better which is nearby and also in Kayoetangan.

Eine neue, tolle Erfahrung für uns. Anfangs waren wir etwas zögerlich, in diesem Hotel zu übernachten, aber die Neugier auf die viktorianische Architektur hat uns überzeugt. Und tatsächlich war es für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie unglaublich schön und luxuriös. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Zimmer wirken etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Instandhaltung, besonders bei den Badarmaturen, ließ zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten gestern ein leicht verstopftes Waschbecken und die Klimaanlage im Zimmer kühlte nicht ausreichend, obwohl sie auf 18° eingestellt war. Dies wurde jedoch durch den schnellen, reaktionsfreudigen und zufriedenstellenden Service wieder wettgemacht. Wir hoffen, dass das Hotel weiterhin erfolgreich bleibt und die Zimmerausstattung bald modernisiert wird. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.
