I enjoyed the genuine hospitality from the staff, the food, and the evening entertainment from True Blue Bay Resort. I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin (General Manager), Alisha (Concierge), and different staff members from Reception, the Rum Shop Bar and the Meet & Greet reception. The property is very charming with a boutique, multiple pools, a turtle viewing section, and a House of Chocolate shop on premises.

My cousins and I went on a 5 night/ 6 day trip to Grenada and stayed at the Royalton. Two of us had stayed at another Royalton in Antigua, so we somewhat knew what to expect. Overall, our trip was amazing!! The staff was so kind, caring, and attentive. The pools and beach were absolutely beautiful. When we needed or requested something, it was attended to very quickly. Even the medical care was amazing at the resort! One member of our party slipped on an excursion and she was taken care of at the nursing station on property, with follow-ups! Thank you to all of the amazing nurses and doctor who took such great care of her, especially Dr. Gilbert, Nurse Andrea, and Nurse Julianne. We stayed in an Oceanfront Diamond Club Suite, which had a beautiful balcony and the greatest butlers, who became more like friends. Kezia and Lindon, thank you for going above and beyond to make our stay so incredibly special (from decorating the room to getting an extra chair for the balcony to always checking in). Also, even though Brad was not our butler, he too become a part of our squad by making an effort to welcome us, get us settled, and help with whatever we needed. There is a bit of a hill to get to the main part of the resort and we would mostly walk, but there was also always the option of taking a buggy, which we appreciated. Our favorite restaurants were the Indian, Taj, and the Italian, Grazie. We ate a ton of delicious food! We also loved visiting the coffee shop for lattes, sweets, and even Nutmeg ice cream. Plus, there is nothing like having a tropical drink (or two) at the swim-up bar! For activities, we really enjoyed the Aquafit class and the balloon toss, but we were just as happy to wade in the warm ocean water or lounge in the sun. A few small cons that really didn't affect our overall enjoyment of the trip: -Many of the activities were cancelled or changed throughout our stay (this may be due to the fact that the resort only got busy when we were leaving- something we didn't mind, as we never had to deal with crowds). Also, we love earning prizes, but most competitions didn't offer any. -The spa does not have hydropools like some of the other Royaltons. -The buffet was just ok, which I have found to be fairly consistent across any of the all-inclusive resorts I have stayed at. **Some things to note before traveling to Grenada: -There are a lot of mosquitos, so bring good bug spray -Make sure that whatever cash you carry is in perfect condition- everyone takes American money, but no one can accept ripped bills as the Grenadian banks will not take them. Wir sollten hier nicht bleiben, sondern wegen der Koronavirus-Beschränkungen, die uns dazu zwingen, einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Carriacou zu kürzen, haben wir hier 2 Nächte geblieben. Unser Zimmer war eine kleine Wohnung mit Küche, Wohnbereich, Esstisch, Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer. Das Hotel ist auf dem Weg zum Flughafen, so dass der Verkehr immer passiert, aber wir haben nicht wirklich bemerkt, dass es invasive ist. Der Ort war nur richtig für unseren Aufenthalt - warten 2 Tage für unser Flug zu Hause. Wir waren die einzigen, die damals da waren, so begann unsere Selbstisolierung um den Pool. Das hatte schöne Wohnzimmer mit komfortablen Kuchen auf, und eine Sonne geschaut Fläche mit schönen Brise. Es ist auf einem Steep-Rad, so dass ich es nicht als Radsitz freundlich oder für jemanden mit Mobilitätsproblemen klassifizieren würde. Unser tägliches Arbeiten war, auf und nach oben zu gehen die Rad zu dem Pool, der oben auf dem Grundstück ist. Das Restaurant war geschlossen (wie jeder auf Grenada), aber sie kochten uns das Frühstück, das wir in unserem Zimmer gegessen haben. Am Abend gingen wir und bekamen einen Abzug vom nahe gelegenen Pun-jabi Restaurant (siehe separate Bewertung). Wir hatten ein freundliches kleines Gecko, das wir in unserem Schlafzimmer mit uns verblieben, das wir Trevor nannten. Er schien kaum zu bewegen, aber ich habe mich mit den Gedanken unterhalten, dass während wir schliefen, er lief um das Zimmer, indem wir Kreise machten. Das Bett war groß und sehr komfortabel. Sie hatten 2 enorme Doppelschranke im Zimmer mit etwa 4 Hängen. Das war kein Problem für uns, da wir aus unseren verpackten Taschen lebten. Ich würde mir vorstellen, dass es nicht die Art von Ort ist, wo Sie noch lange bleiben. AC im Zimmer war sehr effektiv. Kein Deckfans. Die Dusche sah alt aus (ein fester Kopf aus der Wand) aber es war fabulös. Liebes heißes Wasser und ein anständiger Druck. Schöne Handtücher und die Poolhandtücher waren auch von wunderschöner Qualität. Es war schwer zu sagen, was es normal wäre, aber dieser Ort diente es für uns sehr gut. Das Empfangspersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfreich so viel wie sie unter den Umständen konnten.

Wow - we have just spent 10 nights in resort (not long enough). This is our 2nd visit and we loved it just as much this time around. Our room was in the pink gin village and although a little tired, had a great view. These rooms are being upgraded right now so should be even better when complete. Shout out to Kisselle at the quiet pool - we met her in May last year and thankfully she is still there serving drinks all day long with her cheeky laugh and great sense of humour! Bog shout out to Rohan and lovely Matthew who were also fabulous. We were treated so well by them. The food in all restaurants was a great standard and there were plenty of staff checking in to see all was ok. We managed to get reservations for Butches and Kimonos when we liked and found the other restaurants all very easy to dine at. The staff on resort are all helpful and go out of their way to ensure everything runs smoothly. I am sure we will be back, we just relax as soon as we get to the resort and for us its a massive tick!
