Hotels in Inverness mit Parkplatz

Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums von Inverness, nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Es ist zentral gelegen, direkt am Ufer von Loch Ness. Das Hotel besteht aus mehreren Gebäuden. Wir wohnten im Zimmer mit Flussblick, das geräumig war und eine wunderschöne Aussicht bot. An diesem Tag erlebten wir einen atemberaubenden roten Sonnenuntergang. Die Armaturen im Badezimmer waren etwas altmodisch, mit separaten Warm- und Kaltwasseranschlüssen, was dem Raum einen gewissen Retro-Charme verlieh. Die hoteleigene Brauerei befindet sich nebenan und ist einen Besuch wert. Das Frühstück wird in einem separaten Gebäude serviert; das Ambiente war schön, die Auswahl jedoch begrenzt und nicht sehr umfangreich.

First let me say that the owners were incredibly kind and accommodating. It pains me that to even write this but I thought fellow travelers should hear my experience. First, there are two aye stays in Inverness. My gps took me to the wrong one first. That was awkward. After I finally figured it out, the place was very cutely decorated with Scottish and Loch Ness decor. Contactless check in was easy however a board with everyone’s name and room numbers does not feel super safe for me a solo female traveler. But over all easy enough. Next I stayed in room 7 which is up a flight of stairs so make sure you pack light! (Which you should do anyway in Scotland.) My room had just been renovated with new carpet but it smelled like off gassing and I had to open the window (which was broken) there was a radiator for heat which I had no idea how to use. So it got a little chilly. Now here comes the problems: the rooms are very close together and the walls are paper thin. I was kept up until 3 in the morning hearing conversations and snoring. We were only given the choice of receiving breakfast between 7:30-8:30 in the dining room. So I woke up earlier than I would have liked to eat breakfast. Which was just okay. Nothing too outstanding to write about but again the hostess was very sweet. Overall I could see that they’re trying their best. But I would recommend sound machines in each of the rooms or something so people can have a good nights sleep. The location was pretty good and just over the bridge from the high street.

A really good place to stay for its quietness and its walks in the mountain. Very close to Loch Ness, one hour to Inverness, one hour and a half to Isle of Skye, so pretty convenient if you wish to visit East and West . Walking paths have been made for customers into the nature and very beautiful scenery. Staff are very helpful if you need anything. There is no restaurant for dinner and the nearest cafe is about 20 minutes drive. Overall we did have a very good stay and were satisfied.

We had a fantastic stay at Kingsmill Hotel. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the golf course which was beautiful. The bathroom was cleaned perfectly with no dust or mould. The kingside bed was huge and very comfortable. We would stay again.

This is a convenient and comfortable hotel with a friendly and hardworking staff team. Senior management take note! We stayed for two nights and it looked like the ssme staff were working 24 hours a day! The only slight negatives about this hotel are that the beds feel tiny. Comfy enough but small. Also, like all Inverness hotels, price per night can be obscene. I refuse to pay more than £70 per night and will not stay here if the price is over £100, which quite often it is. On the plus side, a very good breakfast buffet is included.

Excellent hostel! Great common self-catering facilities; there were two full kitchens with plenty of tables and seating so multiple parties could be cooking at a time. Staff were very helpful and let me leave my bag before check-in and after check-out to accommodate my bus times. The room (4-bunk female dorm) was very spacious so plenty of room for sorting through my bags. Bunk was large and included a USB plug and power outlet there. Room had large attached shower and toilet rooms.

We arrived later afternoon Andy received us with biscuits what a warm welcome. It has a homely feel with old school locking key, had a fish supper which compliments to the chef Peter was fabulous, great dinner atmosphere with other guests at restaurant and bar/lounge. Spacious clean room, quality linen and warm enough one minus next door guy snored through our walls (not hotel's fault). The hot breakfast was served to order which is fab as it gets to you hot and fresh also avoiding waste and dry dull food. So keep it up guys. And keep getting everyone up early enough.

Evening event dinner was at best poor. Starter which should have been hot was cold, main course just warm, the desert had run out by the time our table was served.  The hotel toilets were in need of an attendant checking regularly .  We ended up laughing about it with references to faulty towers.  However our room was beautiful, clean, well presented, the bed was very comfortable.  We had a great night sleep.  At breckfast the arm of my chair was loose and lifted up when I would go to move my chair in/out from the table.  When I was looking around the continental breckfast counter I could hear a male member of the kitchen staff shouting and swearing using the F word, not at all what I expected from any Hotel.  Lasting impression I would not rush back.

Das Hotel liegt außerhalb des Stadtzentrums. Es dauert 5 Minuten mit dem Bus und 25 Minuten mit Fuß zum Stadtzentrum. Die Busshaltestelle ist in der Nähe. Es gibt nicht viel Nahrungsmittel in der Nähe des Hotels, nur gibt es KFC und ein Fisch- und Chips-Shop. Das Hotel ist sauber, das Zimmer ist jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Frühstück ist Englisch mit dem gleichen Menü jeden Tag. Das Frühstück wird von 7am serviert, das ist spät, als wir den Coach für die Tagesreise zu fangen, die von der Stadtzentrum um 7:30 Uhr beginnt. Obwohl ich Zimmer mit Frühstück von Trip.com reserviert hatte, bat der Empfänger, das Frühstück noch einmal zu buchen, da es scheint trip.com die Frühstücksbuchung nicht mit dem Hotel teilt. So bat der Empfänger, den Beweis für das Frühstücksbuchung zu zeigen, was schrecklich war. Abgesehen von diesen kleinen Fragen war die Gesamterfahrung gut.

The shared kitchen is a big advantage for families and adds to the overall travel experience. The self-service check-in is convenient, and detailed guidance on how to find the house was provided in advance. A small grocery store can be found within a 10-minute walk. I came across some negative comments about the hostel after booking and felt a bit worried. However, it turned out to be a nice place to stay — it's not a 5-star hotel, after all. Free Wi-Fi is available, and the passcode can be found on a noticeboard.
