We had a fantastic stay at Kingsmill Hotel. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the golf course which was beautiful. The bathroom was cleaned perfectly with no dust or mould. The kingside bed was huge and very comfortable. We would stay again.

Perfect airport hotel and very close to the terminal. I was able to check in for my flight, then return to the hotel for breakfast. Warm, comfortable, and very convenient.

First let me say that the owners were incredibly kind and accommodating. It pains me that to even write this but I thought fellow travelers should hear my experience. First, there are two aye stays in Inverness. My gps took me to the wrong one first. That was awkward. After I finally figured it out, the place was very cutely decorated with Scottish and Loch Ness decor. Contactless check in was easy however a board with everyone’s name and room numbers does not feel super safe for me a solo female traveler. But over all easy enough. Next I stayed in room 7 which is up a flight of stairs so make sure you pack light! (Which you should do anyway in Scotland.) My room had just been renovated with new carpet but it smelled like off gassing and I had to open the window (which was broken) there was a radiator for heat which I had no idea how to use. So it got a little chilly. Now here comes the problems: the rooms are very close together and the walls are paper thin. I was kept up until 3 in the morning hearing conversations and snoring. We were only given the choice of receiving breakfast between 7:30-8:30 in the dining room. So I woke up earlier than I would have liked to eat breakfast. Which was just okay. Nothing too outstanding to write about but again the hostess was very sweet. Overall I could see that they’re trying their best. But I would recommend sound machines in each of the rooms or something so people can have a good nights sleep. The location was pretty good and just over the bridge from the high street.

This is a convenient and comfortable hotel with a friendly and hardworking staff team. Senior management take note! We stayed for two nights and it looked like the ssme staff were working 24 hours a day! The only slight negatives about this hotel are that the beds feel tiny. Comfy enough but small. Also, like all Inverness hotels, price per night can be obscene. I refuse to pay more than £70 per night and will not stay here if the price is over £100, which quite often it is. On the plus side, a very good breakfast buffet is included.

Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und komfortabel, es gibt keine Klimaanlage, manchmal wird es etwas heiß. Die unterschiedliche Temperatur des Zimmers ist anders, Sie können die Rezeption fragen. Aber es gibt kein Problem mit dem Wohnen.

Evening event dinner was at best poor. Starter which should have been hot was cold, main course just warm, the desert had run out by the time our table was served.  The hotel toilets were in need of an attendant checking regularly .  We ended up laughing about it with references to faulty towers.  However our room was beautiful, clean, well presented, the bed was very comfortable.  We had a great night sleep.  At breckfast the arm of my chair was loose and lifted up when I would go to move my chair in/out from the table.  When I was looking around the continental breckfast counter I could hear a male member of the kitchen staff shouting and swearing using the F word, not at all what I expected from any Hotel.  Lasting impression I would not rush back.

We arrived later afternoon Andy received us with biscuits what a warm welcome. It has a homely feel with old school locking key, had a fish supper which compliments to the chef Peter was fabulous, great dinner atmosphere with other guests at restaurant and bar/lounge. Spacious clean room, quality linen and warm enough one minus next door guy snored through our walls (not hotel's fault). The hot breakfast was served to order which is fab as it gets to you hot and fresh also avoiding waste and dry dull food. So keep it up guys. And keep getting everyone up early enough.

Hotel is located outside of the city centre. It takes 5 mins by bus and 25 mins by walk to reach the city centre. The bus stop is nearby. Not much food options near the hotel, only there are KFC and a fish and chips shop. The hotel is clean, room is cleaned every day. Breakfast is English style with same menu every day. The breakfast is served from 7 am which is late as we had to catch coach for daytrip which starts from city centre at 7:30. Though I had booked room with breakfast from Trip.com, the receptionist was asking to book the breakfast again as it seems trip.com doesn't share the breakfast booking with hotel. So receptionist asked to show the proof of breakfast booking which was awkward. Other than this minor issues, overall experience was good.

Die Lage ist ziemlich gut nur etwa 20 Minuten mit dem Auto von der Stadt Loch Ness. Unsere Kabine war die ganze Straße oben, die Schafe und Kühe zu sehen, mit einem kleinen Wasserstrom neben ihm, was den ganzen Ort wirklich friedlich und entspannt fühlt. Die Kabine selbst war geräumig, gemütlich und sauber. Es gibt jedoch keine Einrichtungen, so stellen Sie sicher, dass alles, was Sie brauchen, wie Duschegel, Shampoo, etc.. Es gibt auch nur ein kleines Handtuch pro Person, so empfehle ich Ihnen, wenn Sie Platz in Ihrem Gepäck haben. Es gibt kein WLAN, aber wir haben 4G Signal während unseres Aufenthalts, was hilfreich war. Die Dusche war ausgezeichnet, mit verschiedenen Einstellungen und perfekte Wassertemperatur. Bedenken Sie nur, dass das heiße Wasser ausläuft, und es dauert ein paar Stunden, um wieder zu heißen. Die einzige Seite für uns war das Bett, das nicht die komfortableste war, als es im Mittelpunkt schwimmte.
