A simply amazing stay. Firstly Ian and his team helped us remedy an error made by ******* on booking rooms at the Bowes hotel. Really friendly and interpersonal staff along with extensive knowledge of the area and further beyond particularly Hadrian's Wall path along with the Roman Museums and Forts. The food served was amazing aswell, better than some other independent restaurants, also the Thai-cakes are a must try! The room is clean and tidy with a great buffet breakfast to boot, they also make lunch for your journey ahead. If you are staying at Bardon Mill, this is the place to be, just a walk away from the station that connects back to Newcastle. Friendly neighbourhood and locals that shares stories from their journeys and also fellow travellers from around the world mostly doing the Hadrian's Wall walk. I cannot fault this wonderful and cosy hotel and pub that is the Bowes Hotel!

This is a great choice if planning to go to the Kielder Observatory as it’s about a 20 minute drive. Our room was nice and functional. The biggest plus was the food. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and felt very upscale with great value for the price. The dining area is really cozy too and everyone was friendly. The only small downside is that check out is relatively early at 10am if you join one of the late night sessions at the Observatory which finish at 01:30 am.

A fantastic place to stay- staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was perfect. Spacious, clean and tidy.

Lovely pub style hotel in glorious surroundings. Food is excellent. The rooms are rather small but functional. By the way, if both of you are over 80 kgs, I suggest two beds. As this is Northumberland, you will find the drying room a great find. The brewery bar is really good. Enjoy the Hadrian Wall close by.

Komfortable Zimmer, schöne Auswahl an Toiletten mit angenehmem Scent. wunderschönes Essen. Battlesteads konnten einen Haustierhund ( auch tierpack) beherbergen . Große Auswahl für Frühstück und Geschmack Ringtons Kaffee. Dies war ein Geburtstagspause, so dass nur eine Nacht Aufenthalt , Bucht Bett und Frühstück, beschlossen, Abendessen hinzuzufügen. Das Dorf Wark ist schön zu Fuß, über die Brücke zu Fußballfeld auf eine Weise und der Hund zu Fuß, das Wetter half, den Aufenthalt zu machen, wie es warme Herbstsolar. sah Grey Heron an der Flussbank. Würde empfehlen und würde wieder gehen.

Sehr sauberes Schlafzimmer, einfache Eincheckung mit Personal, das für das pub verantwortlich war. Das Herzliche Frühstück bei nur 10 £ war großartig!

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, es ist bequem, die große Mauer von Huddlei zu besuchen, das Land umgeben von der Tour, es gibt einen kleinen Fluss, die Landschaft ist sehr schön; das Hotel ist ein bisschen alt, aber gut gewartet und das Badezimmer scheint auch neu zu dekorieren; der Parkplatz hat eine ausreichende Parkstelle; Das Frühstück ist gut, aber das Abendessen ist nicht das gesamte Paket, es ist selbst, 25 Pfund, nicht viel, weniger zu ergänzen, das ist etwas ungewöhnlich.
