I am a solo female traveler from America. The owner and family took wonderful care of me. As if I were their family and not just a guest. The owner drove me to the Mao scenic area, helped me find the ticket area, and returned later to take me home. Then he later drove me to a restaurant for dinner, where I also met his cute dog Wang Wang, and afterwards took me to the evening musical performance about Mao. Which was great to see even not speaking Chinese. My departure train was late in the afternoon but they allowed me to just rest in the hotel lounge and garden. Gave me tea, fruit, and cake while I waited. Even offered to drive me to the train! So friendly. So kind. And hotel room was VERY comfortable. Stay here! Ps. I recommend using WeChat to communicate with the host if you don’t speak Chinese. Made things so easy.

Mit Freunden kamen Sie zu Liu Mountain und wählten diesen Wohnraum-Shop aus, erlebte es sehr gut! Die Hotelhygiene ist besonders gut, das Zimmer ist sauber und es ist sehr komfortabel zu leben. Die Umgebung ist auch gut, es ist bequem, die Umgebung zu gehen, die Atmosphäre ist sehr angemessen. Der Service ist intimer, das Personal ist enthusiastisch und aufmerksam und die Bedürfnisse der Benutzer sind rechtzeitig zu beantworten. Die Einrichtungen sind auch sehr komplett, die Schlafzimmer mit Doppelzimmern sind komfortabel, TV und Klimaanlage sind gut. Diese Nacht, in der ich hier wohne, ist viel zusätzlich für unsere Reise. I was their first Westerner not accompanied by a Chinese person & it took a while to complete my registration.. but the two receptionists were very helpful & solved the situation. They were both excellent & with the use of translate app we managed. Excellent hotel & very helpful staff.. Highly recommend by me

Great family-run hotel, they made me feel so welcome and helped sort out for me a trip to the outdoor theatre show, transport there and seeing all the historical sites to see there, all within walking distance. The serve really good food there whenever you want it! The family was really friendly and I got on really well with them and when I left the father drove me to the train station and the whole family jumped in to join me for the ride!

Fünf-Sterne-Lob! Ich habe im Namen meiner Eltern gebucht. Die Inhaberin holte uns am S-Bahnhof ab und war sehr herzlich und rücksichtsvoll. Wir haben im B&B auch das Lieblingsgericht des Vorsitzenden Mao, geschmortes Schweinefleisch, gegessen. Sie halfen uns, Karten für die Aufführung „Der unvergesslichste Shaoshan Chong“ zu buchen und holten die älteren Menschen ab, damit sie sich die Aufführung ansehen konnten. Die Erfahrung war sehr gut. Wenn Sie nach Shaoshan reisen, sollten Sie bei ihnen eine Privatunterkunft buchen, da sie ganz in der Nähe der ehemaligen Residenz des Vorsitzenden Mao und des Platzes der Bronzestatue liegt!

The couple running this renovated traditional home in Mao's home village are very attentive to guests' needs, even on the busiest day of the year, December 26th, Chairman Mao's birthday. My partner was coming down with a cold and got some ginger soup to drink. Additionally, when we screwed up our schedule and almost couldn't make our train out of Shaoshan, with no train available to reschedule, the couple arranged for the husband to drive us to the station for little more than gas money. It's up a slight hill from the other inns and allows one to get a bit of peace and quiet, again, even on the busiest day of the year, when Shaoshan is very worth a visit for anyone interested in Mao Zedong's legacy, given the number of Chinese people who show up to sing, dance, wave various flags and give speeches. Don't make our mistake and schedule the Chairman Mao memorial hall for a full visit instead of rushing though it. The exhibit is full of pictures and dioramas and has English captions for most things. I also wish we'd had time to explore the pagoda on the hill behind the guesthouse.

The owners of this place are the nicest people ever! Even though we did not ask, they gave us a ride to and from the train station as well as to Chairman Mao's former residence. The location is great, it would not have been a long walk but the ride made our visit even smoother. The hosts gave us Chairman Mao pins for free and made us delicious breakfast for a really cheap price. They truly are such nice people! They don't speak much English but I'm sure you would manage just fine with a translator app. The room was a great fit for us, two couples travelling together, and it had everything we needed. We only stayed for one night since there is not a whole lot to see in this town but we would have loved to stay for longer just because the hosts were so nice. I would definitely recommend this place! 谢谢你们对我们的悉心照顾!

Das Innere des Gästezimmers ist sehr sauber, der Boden und die Tische sind sauber, die Bettwaren sind weich und trocken, und die Bettwäsche ist sehr entspannt. Das Zimmer hat eine gute Luftwirkung, kein Geschmack, die Wäschebereiche sind in der Lage, das warme Wasser ist stabil, die Badegegenstände sind gut zu verwenden. Die Gesamtausrichtung ist vernünftig, die Lichtstärke ist gerade gut und das Leben macht es sich fühlen, freundlich. Das Gesamtpreisverhältnis ist empfehlenswert.
