GGastnutzerEin verstecktes Gemt. Ich möchte diese Bewertung nicht einmal teilen, um dieses Hotel zu beliebt zu machen! Als Person, die nicht sehr gut Chinesisch spricht, waren die Mitarbeiter dieses Hotels trotz der Sprachbarriere sehr gut zu beherbergen. Wenn Sie zum ersten Mal im Hotel ankommen, werden Sie von einem kreativen Garten gegrüßt, der mit Outdoor-Essensbereichen, Schwingungen, einem Fischtank und mehr ausgestattet ist. Beim Einchecken war der Empfangsmann sehr auf alle meine Fragen aufmerksam und richtete mich an die Orte, die ich über Wechat gefragt habe. Es war sehr einfach, die Richtungen zu folgen. Ich wurde auch eine Ausbreitung von frischem Obst angeboten, um zu genießen, bevor ich in meinem Zimmer bleibe. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber und hatte das fortschrittlichste Toilette, das ich jemals benutzt habe! Es gab ein breites offenes Fenster für einen schönen Blick auf den Dialou über den Deck. Die Suite mit Snacks, Toiletten und Slips war auch sehr beliebt. Eine Highlight dieses Hotels ist das Frühstück. Sie bieten nicht nur den Standard-Chinesischen Frühstückspreis wie Porridge und Paste, sondern auch bedienten lokale Kaiping-Spezialitäten. Sie haben auch Lebensmittel, die Sie aus einem Menü bestellen können, aber ich hatte nichts während meines Aufenthalts. Nach dem checkout wurde mir auch ein guter Tasche mit lokalen Spezialitäten und Behandlungen gegeben, die sehr geschätzt wurde!

GGastnutzerThis is a beautiful homestay in the middle of an ancient village and close to the main road. If you do not want to walk, they have a rental bike. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although they speak little English, Google Translate has helped. They serve a beautiful table service breakfast. Like most farm homestays in China. They do not have a restaurant. But there is a big one in the next village, and it is walkable. Otherwise, the main square will be 10 minutes away by (DiDI) taxi.
The homestay is a renovated Diaolou built over 100 years ago. The stairs were shallow and steep because it is the originals. You can read about their beautiful and extraordinary transformation on the wall of the beautiful Lobby. The room was beautifully furnished, and the A/C and WiFi work beautifully, especially in Southern China. The humidity could be unbearable, which is a big plus. The shower was large and clean, with plenty of hot water. There were also a lot of outside areas. Some rooms also include a private patio and balcony. The amenities were first class: a very comfortable bed and fresh sheets. I highly recommend this place to stay if you want to visit Kaiping. I will be back again. Book fast. I am sure most travelers will find out about this gem soon.

Iing57We booked 3 rooms for a night, and all rooms were spacious and clean! 2 of the rooms that we got were equipped with mini washing machine and this is really convenient for us! The hotel is quite near to the main entrance of Chikan ancient town, and there's 1 convenient store within walking distance.

VVanAMWe had a wonderful stay at the ChaoQi Hotel. After a smooth check-in, a convenient cart picked us up and brought us directly to our room door. The location is incredible, situated inside the Chikan resort where you can find numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions. A great perk was that our stay included entry tickets, giving us the chance to enjoy many of the resort's lively shows. Our room was super comfortable, impeccably clean, and very family-friendly. Our kids especially loved the indoor playground on the ground floor. The buffet breakfast offered a fantastic variety of options, featuring multiple live stations with both Asian and Western choices. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I return to the Kaiping area.

The traditional courtyards feature water wheels and koi ponds, iinterspersed by potted palms and ferns, and planters/trellises spilling over with bougainvillea. Al fresco seating is dotted around the verandahs and terraces, making for a pleasant quasi outdoor living concept. The rooms however boast the latest high tech gadgets like smart toilets, engendering a seamless fusion of old and new. Public spaces like the lobby lounge and reception, and even the elevators, also attempt to replicate the elegance of the building's vintage and to recapture the vibes of a bygone era which are the signature notes of Kaiping/Chikan's Western-infused architecture. There is also a small museum documenting the region's turbulent history within the hotel's premises.

It wasn't your typical cookie-cutter hotel, and that's exactly what I loved. The peaceful environment was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing for a truly relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and providing to-the-point service – no fuss, just what I needed. A huge plus was the hotel's location. Being within walking distance of so many attractions made exploring a breeze. And when I got hungry, the abundance of great food options nearby was the cherry on top. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
It's in rural area and rides may not be to easy to get after 10pm. If you plan to return late to the hotel, be sure to know how to contact the hotel just in case the front desk is closed. Sorry to wake you at the middle of night boss lady!
