Die Umgebung des Hotels ist sehr ruhig und eignet sich zum Ausruhen und Entspannen. Service: Jindus Service ist so gut wie eh und je. Aufgrund der Akklimatisierung hatten wir an diesem Tag einen Luftbefeuchter und Honiglimonade für uns vorbereitet, wodurch wir die Wärme eines fremden Landes spüren konnten. Lage: Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage, direkt im Zentrum von Yiwu, in der Nähe beliebter Geschäftsviertel. Essen: Auch das Frühstück gefällt mir, es ist sehr international, die Gerichte sind exquisit, die Umgebung ist sehr gut und auch der Service ist sehr feinfühlig. Ausstattung: Es sieht sehr neu aus. Man sagt, dass es sich um ein etabliertes lokales Hotel handelt, das seit mehr als 20 Jahren geöffnet ist und letztes Jahr renoviert wurde. Wir sehen uns wieder!

Super fun! This was one of the theme hotels that were hidden on the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street set. Appropriately, the Rosslyn Hotels' brand icon is the Landlady from Kungfu Hustle. Upon arrival, you check in at the North Gate's Tourist Services Desk. The concierge welcomed me with a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and asking me to add their butler (Housekeeper Xiao Xiao) to my WeChat. If I needed anything, I just had to text the Housekeeper Xiao Xiao (who was super helpful with all my questions (in English) during my stay). Then the bellhop whisked me away, via golf cart, to my hotel. There were several hidden hotels, with different themes, throughout the set. The bellhop took me through an unassuming door among into what looked like an empty set, and up an elevator to the room floors. The walkway offered a lovely view of the Ming Qing Palace set next door. The rooms were supposed to be themed as Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the 70s and 80s, but could easily pass for old Shanghai. The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable, the shower has nice and hot and with fantastic water pressure. The room has some of the largest closet space that I have seen in any hotel. The WiFi worked without the need to register a local cellphone number (I've found that many other hotels, in China, offered free WiFi, but you need to verify with an ID code text to you. The texts never come through to my U.S. phone number, so I have never been able to take advantage of free WiFi; that is until I got to this hotel.) The little details were delightful surprises around every corner. They always refer to guests as ”laoshi” (an honorific of teacher, or master, bestowed to actors) or as ”starlet”. Not gonna lie, I really wanted to take home the pair of the room's bone china cups. The stay also comes with very decent breakfast buffet that had both Chinese and western dishes. They will even make you fresh wontons and noodle soups to order. The restaurants in the park are not great and quite expensive by China's standard. I recommend loading up at the more tasty free breakfast to power through the day. The hotel's location was very convenient for touring Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street; which had very lively evening shows. (As you walk through the streets, look at the stores' signs and test your TV shows and movie knowledge by finding the Easter eggs.) The Qing Ming Palace Set is across the street from the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street's South Gateon the other side of the park (don't worry, it's not that far). To access the other sets, you can take their shuttle, but it does not come around very often. It's more efficient to get a Didi. Overall, it was a magical stay of being in the movies.

Es gibt eine Vielzahl von Mahlzeiten in der Nähe, oder Sie können die Fußgängerstraße nicht weit entfernt besuchen, die sehr lebhaft in der Nacht ist. Die Hotelzimmer sind geräumig und hell, mit guter Soundproofing, die jeden Abend eine ruhige und komfortable Schlafmöglichkeit ermöglichen. Das Front Desk Personal ist warm und aufmerksam, und der Eincheckungsprozess ist schnell und effizient. Von Buchung bis Checkout, bietet das Personal einen überaus gedankenvollen und professionellen Service. Die Frühstücksauswahl ist reichhaltig, und die Mahlzeiten können an den persönlichen Geschmack angepasst werden, so dass Sie sich wirklich zu Hause fühlen. Es war ein sehr zufriedenstellender Aufenthalt!

Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel Rating: ★★★★☆ We recently stayed at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel during the national holiday in China, and overall, our experience was quite enjoyable. Here’s a breakdown of our stay: **Location: 浦江仙华檀宫国际度假酒店 **Check-In Experience:**   We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles.   **Room Comfort:**   Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. **Facilities:**   The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine. **Service:**   The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out. **Room for Improvement:**   While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didn’t detract significantly from our enjoyment. **Final Thoughts:**   This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.  In addition to comfortable accommodations and expected amenities, the hotel provides a relaxing environment for guests of all ages. Would we return? Absolutely!

Staying at Borrman Hotel was an amazing experience.... it is just a minute walk to Yiwu International Trade City as well.... Loved staying at this beautiful property....

It was an interesting stay with friends visiting on business, well suited location, 10-20 mins from each market direction. Friendly and helpful staff, but they need to improve on their Breakfast menu, everything thing else is good.

Ich hatte während meines Aufenthalts in diesem Hotel ein unglaubliches Erlebnis. Von dem Moment an, als ich ankam, wurde ich mit einem warmen Lächeln und außergewöhnlicher Gastfreundschaft begrüßt. Das Personal tat sein Bestes, um sicherzustellen, dass alle meine Bedürfnisse erfüllt wurden und ich mich wirklich willkommen fühlte. Das Hotel selbst war atemberaubend und bot eine wunderschöne Mischung aus moderner Eleganz und Komfort. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit erstklassigen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet, sodass Sie sich wie ein zweites Zuhause fühlen. Die Liebe zum Detail war bemerkenswert, jeder Aspekt wurde akribisch berücksichtigt. Einer der Höhepunkte meines Aufenthalts war zweifellos das Speiseangebot im Hotel. Die Vielfalt und Qualität des Essens war einfach hervorragend. Die Restaurants servieren köstliche Gerichte aus frischen Zutaten aus der Region, die selbst die anspruchsvollsten Gaumen zufrieden stellen. Darüber hinaus war die Lage des Hotels perfekt und bot eine atemberaubende Aussicht und bequemen Zugang zu nahe gelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ob ich die pulsierende Stadt erkunden oder einfach nur entspannen wollte, alles war leicht zu erreichen. Was dieses Hotel wirklich auszeichnet, ist der außergewöhnliche Service des Personals. Sie taten ihr Möglichstes, um sicherzustellen, dass mein Aufenthalt unvergesslich war und alle Erwartungen übertraf. Ganz gleich, ob es darum ging, den Transport zu organisieren, Empfehlungen für Aktivitäten zu geben oder sich einfach nur an freundschaftlichen Gesprächen zu beteiligen – ihre aufrichtige Fürsorge und Aufmerksamkeit gaben mir das Gefühl, ein Ehrengast zu sein. Ich kann dieses Hotel für seinen außergewöhnlichen Service, die atemberaubenden Einrichtungen und die allgemeine Exzellenz nicht genug loben. Ich kann es jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der ein unvergessliches Gastfreundschaftserlebnis sucht. Ich freue mich bereits auf meinen nächsten Besuch und weiß, dass ich einen weiteren bemerkenswerten Aufenthalt erleben werde.

I stayed 3 nights at the hotel which has a superb location right across from the Qin Palace. The hotel is undergoing some upgrade renovations from level 3-5, therefore we could hear the drilling and knocking sound at Level 7 (highest is level 8). The lady at the reception counter wasn't very useful with giving information, i.e. nearest convenience store, where to eat. She pointed us to a convenience store that was far away when there was a convenience store located next to the hotel across an alley. There was plenty of restaurants near the hotel, but couldn't recommend any of it. Instead, she told us to take an e-hailing ride to the Wansheng South Street. The laundry facility is on level 2 which was one of the level partially closed due to renovations. One of the housekeeping staff was using the limited laundry facility for her own clothes. I bumped into her twice, once around 5pm when both washers were in use, and I waited at the seating area outsite the laundry room for my turn. She told my children and I to move over to another side of the seating area as if I was trespassing into her space. Then when one of the washer started beeping to signal that the washing was completed, she told me it was hers when I started transferring those clothes (only 2 pieces) to the dryer so I could use the washer after waiting for more than 10 minutes. Another time was on the morning at around 7am. I bumped into the same housekeeping staff and she was again using the laundry facillity. It makes me wonder if hotel staff are allowed to use the hotel facilities for their personal gain. Overall, I'm happy with the location, but nothing else to shout about considering that this is an international hotel chain. Even the bedroom slippers are so thin compared to other hotels that I've stayed during my trip to China.

In einem Nutshell, geeignet meist wenn Sie keine anderen Optionen haben (oder alles, was preiswert ist, ist alles für die Nacht genommen). Für mich war das, was mir am meisten (oder ich sage nicht überraschend, aber immer noch bemerkenswert wahr) die Tatsache, dass zwei verschiedene Mitarbeiter des Hotels (aka die beiden Rezeptoren, die während meines Aufenthalts beide wechselten) kein Wort Englisch sprechen! Wie, LITERALY nicht 1!!! Und ich weiß, ich weiß, “Dies ist China” und “Was erwarten Sie in einer 3. Klasse Stadt” aber immer noch, Jungs, es ist das 2026 Gottdammit, nicht 2006! Wie die Stadt, in der das Hotel liegt, ist praktisch die Welthauptstadt des Hausgerätehandels!!! Es gibt genug Ausländer, die in der Stadt reisen und sogar wohnen, um jeder selbst respektierende Hotelmanager besser zu wissen, dass sie ein englischsprachiges Personal anstellen müssen, das (sehr wahrscheinlich) auch einige ausländische Gäste haben. Noch einmal: niemand erwartet ein indigenes Englischsprachiges Niveau oder einige Doktoranden und akademische Fähigkeiten, aber zumindest die Basic Englischkenntnisse sollten in jedem entwickelten Land, insbesondere China, ein MUST sein. Das Hotel war OKish (berücksichtigt die Preisspanne). Es ist ein Schmerz im Arsch, als Fremder zu prüfen (es buchstäblich zu einer halben Stunde, mehrfach gefragt werden die seltsamsten Fragen wie “Woher kommen Sie?” oder “Was bringt Sie zu YiWu: Reisen oder studieren“, “Was ist Ihre Telefonnummer” (berücksichtigen Sie, dass der Kerl mein Pass in seiner Hand hatte und ich machte die Reservierung online, wo praktisch ALL diese Informationen weithin verfügbar waren). Ich musste zweimal ein Bild von mir nehmen (gedenken Sie, Ich wohne in derselben Stadt!!!). Ich musste nur kurz aus meinem Kondo verlassen, weil dort Bauarbeiten stattfinden. Jedenfalls sind die Zimmerausstattung ok und hatten keine anderen Hiccups als das. Denken Sie daran, Sie müssen 100 yuan als “Sicherheitsdeposito” zu hinterlegen/übertragen, die über WeChat/AliPay Transfer bei Abrechnen zurückerstattet werden.

Overall, I would give this hotel four stars, mainly because the location is truly excellent and one of its biggest strengths. The hotel is tucked slightly away from the main street, which actually makes it quieter and more relaxing, while still being incredibly convenient. It’s only minutes from the metro, the market, restaurants, and everything I personally needed during my stay. For location alone, I would absolutely give it five stars. I also want to especially recognize the gentleman at the front desk. He was tremendously helpful throughout my stay, always kind, professional, and accommodating. His service was outstanding and made a very positive impression on me. I stayed in the loft room, which offers a very good value for the price. The room itself was fairly nice, although there were a few challenges. One important thing for future guests to know is that the elevator only goes to the fifth floor, and then you must walk up stairs to reach the loft rooms on the sixth floor. For some travelers, especially those with heavy luggage or mobility issues, that could be difficult. The hotel would also benefit greatly from remodeling and updating. The facility is older, and a few things do not function as well as they could. That said, I can usually overlook those types of things when the service and atmosphere are warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, while the gentleman at the front desk was excellent, the woman who also helped clean the rooms was not particularly friendly or accommodating during my stay. A little more warmth and hospitality there would have made a big difference and likely would have brought this review to five stars. Still, overall, the location, value, and convenience make this a worthwhile place to stay, especially for travelers looking for easy access to the city at a reasonable price.
