Tagsüber schickten wir uns wieder auf die U-Bahn-Station. Die Service-Einstellung des Geschäftes ist besonders höflich und macht es sehr freundlich. Die Einrichtungen sind komplett, es gibt super große Fenster im Zimmer und das Licht ist gut. Die Bettwaren sind sauber. Das Geschirr ist stabil und der Raum ist groß. Es gibt Tische, Kleiderschrank. Ein paar kleine Teppiche, kleine Kühlschrank usw., empfehlen Sie sich zu bleiben, die Dinge sind preisgünstig. Sehr nah am Flughafen. This is the best affordable hotel I have stayed in Changsha. The host is very kind and has helped me out a lot. Check in was super swift, he had my room card ready and translation app all ready to go as soon as I arrived. He and his wife often sat down with and gave me lots of really nice tea. He was full of advice for the foreign traveller and was always at hsnd to answer my questions. In fact it has been the warmest hotel experience I have had in Changsha. I liked it so much I decided to stay a few more days and he gave me a great deal. I will stay here again in future when I stay in Changsha.

However, I was surprised to learn that even suite bookings at your property don't include executive lounge access without IHG One Rewards status. This differs from many luxury hotels where suite accommodations typically include lounge privileges regardless of membership status. Additionally, my key card was deactivated unexpectedly during my stay, which also makes me feel confused.

The room was big enough for 3 person. There is nearby metro station near the hotel which made it easy for us to go around. Plenty of food stalls, restaurants and groceries around so it is very convenient to eat. The checkin and checkout is also easy as they already use smart lock in their rooms. They just need to improve their customer service to know how they can help their guest. We tried to avail the taxi service that they offer by informing them in advance but we got the impression that they are not willing to help arrange for us. We just took taxi by ourselves near the bus station. Overall, we still enjoy our stay at Changsha.

Good location close to both the international convention and exhibition centre and the train station. The hotel is also located in a new, clean and beautiful area: looking across a green scenery and sport field but in a seperate lot to ensure a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The facility is modern and very clean so it gives you an impression of high-end hotel but the price is surprisingly a bargain compared to others. It may be a little away from Changsha city centre but the price makes up for it. Furthermore it’s close to the airport, train station and also very easy to book taxi to go every where. The room is spacious, clean and tidy with all the amenities and convenience you will need. The king bed is comfortable and the atmosphere is quiet and nice so I had plenty of good night sleeps. There is also an option of converting the sofa into an extra bed at no fee but I didn’t need it. On the 1st floor there is a small supermarket where you can find most of the common stuff and snacks. Next door there are a few restaurants if you are too lazy to go out. Moreover, amazing customer services, the staff were polite, helpful and the checking in was quick and easy! Changsha was stormy the day of my flight and there was difficulty getting a taxi to go to the airport because some roads were flooded. The hotel staff just noticed me sitting and waiting then offered to help getting me to the airport. Luckily if it wasn’t for the assistance of the hotel staff and the relatively closeness of the hotel to Changsha airport, I would not have made it to the airport in time for my flight. All in all, 5/5 ratings and compliments from me to this hotel and the staff!!

A huge room with electric curtains and comfortable bed. I arrived late and had just arrived in China without any meals being served on the plane. They offered to order food for me on a food APP and had it delivered to the front desk and then brought it up to my room. Very kind, helpful people working there. The first time it might be a little tricky to find the hotel as it is inside a building near another hotel, but all the locals know the place and just ask anyone and they’ll lead you there. The next morning enjoyed a free shuttle to the airport to catch the Maglev to the South in Station. Everything about the hotel experience was great.

I got Ctrip.com service centre at Changsha Huanghua Airport to advise me how to contact Sycamore Tree Hotel to pick me up and I managed to contact Sycamore Tree Hotel Uncle Liu to pick me up at column C6. The exit is next to the Ctrip.com service centre of the airport and there are long queues of cars awaiting to pick up guests at the airport. Sycamore Tree Hotel is an hourly-rated hotel that allows guests to stay up to seven hours a day or to the next day. It has a three-hours room stay package for guests who are transitting to another city on the same day but since Trip.com is selling the room based on per day basis, I paid less than $30 to stay until 8 pm on the same day. To kill time, under my request, Uncle Liu chaufferred me to two plane-spotting sites around the Changsha airport for plane photography at a return fee of 150 RMB from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, including Gao'an Village Committee Building and the premises around Hunan General Aviation Building. This fee includes the driver's waiting time. Uncle Liu has very good knowledge on plane-spotting and I recommend plane-spotters to stay in this hotel if their purpose of visiting Changsha is plane-spotting. Uncle Liu quipped that he also can bring guests to Zhangjiajie in Hunan. While the staff of Sycamore Tree Hotel is friendly, I would like to comment that the room allocated to me has no window, no regular-size table for me to write on paper and no chair. It takes a long time for the room to turn cool after switching on the air-conditioner. The toilet-cum-bathroom only has the small bath towel for body wiping purpose. Overall, the room is worse than the single room of Toyoko Inn. Despite the insufficiencies in the room, I recommend this hotel for staff friendliness, airport pick-up/drop-off services and local transport service. For breakfast and other meals, there is the bun shop next door and the noodles restaurant of one minute walk away from the hotel. For recreation, there is the games machine outside the hotel. I will stay at Sycamore Tree Hotel again if there were another opportunity of an onward flight at night from Changsha to another city airport.

Nach der Ankunft hat der Manager sogar nett geboten, zwei von uns von einem Queen-Bettzimmer auf zwei Einzelbettzimmer mit Wohntoilet kostenlos zu upgraden, das wir sehr geschätzt ☺️ Für 2 Personen, Das Übernachten in einem privaten Zimmer mit einem privaten Badezimmer ist sogar besser als das Übernachten in einer geteilten Unterkunft in einem Hostel. Wir sind nur 25 Minuten zum Flughafen 👍 gegangen.
