Wir sind am Nachmittag angekommen und bei der Eincheckung wurden wir von zwei schönen thematischen Mädchen für das Rio-Karneval empfangen. Das Hotel war sauber und gut vorsichtig, sehr empfohlen

Wir hatten einen erstaunlichen Aufenthalt in Emiliano Rio als Paar, und es erwies sich als eine wirklich besondere Erfahrung. Wir haben im Ocean Suite geblieben, und die Aussicht auf Copacabana ist einfach atemberaubend. Wachen und Frühstück mit dieser Aussicht serviert ist etwas, das Sie nicht vergessen. Die Suite selbst fühlt sich mehr als eine luxuriöse Wohnung geräumig, schön konzipiert, mit Details wie eingebaute Deckensprecher, eine Doppeldusche für Paare und ein sehr entspannendes Bad. Der Service ist hervorragend. Das Personal ist extrem aufmerksam, freundlich und proaktiv Kommunikation über WhatsApp macht alles schnell und bequem. Das Butterteam war besonders hilfreich bei der Organisation eines sehr wichtigen persönlichen Moments für uns, mit Hilfe von Logistik wie Auto-Arrangements und speziellen Vorbereitungen. Alles wurde reibungslos und professionell behandelt. Wir genossen auch das Dach und der Spa sind beide schön und perfekt die Gesamterfahrung ergänzen. Die Massage war ausgezeichnet und sehr entspannend. Das ist sicherlich ein Luxushotel, so ist es wichtig zu verstehen, dass viele Dienstleistungen preiswert und entsprechend gepreist werden. Allerdings ist das Niveau des Komforts, der Aufmerksamkeit und der Atmosphäre voll gerechtfertigt. Wir empfehlen es für Paare, einen besonderen und erinnerlichen Aufenthalt zu suchen. Wir haben uns sehr glücklich und mit unvergesslichen Erinnerungen verlassen.

Das fantastische Hotel - perfekte Lage am Strand Ipanema, hervorragender Service, erstaunliches Pool-Gebiet für Sonnenuntergang und Getränke. Bettqualität ist schön - ich hatte eine wunderbare Nacht schlafen. Während die Vorzimmer mit Meerblick größere / besser sind, sind die Hofzimmer auch gut mit großer Klimaanlage, Badprodukte usw. 3. Aufenthalt hier - wird wieder bleiben!

Das Hotel ist sehr schön in einem schönen Teil von Rio. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfreich, vor allem, weil ich Englisch spreche und jeder andere spreche Portugiesisch. Das Zimmer war schön und sauber, und die Reinigungsherren kamen hier jeden Tag, um das Zimmer zu erfrischten, frische Handtücher im Badezimmer zu setzen und die Blätter zu ändern. Der Pool war schön und sehr ruhig, was die Erfahrung viel besser machte. Ich hatte nicht sehr Frühstück im Hotel, aber am einen Tag, als ich es tat, gab es eine gute Auswahl an Lebensmitteln. Ich kann dieses Hotel nicht fehlen, sehr angenehm und würde sicherlich wieder hier bleiben.

Leute, Vila Galé Rio de Janeiro ist einfach fantastisch. Empfangsperson, Zimmermädchen, Kellner…. Beispielloser Service. Das Einchecken dauerte aufgrund der übermäßigen Bürokratie sehr lange, das Auschecken ging dagegen super schnell. Ich empfehle es jedem. Die Lage des Hotels ist unsicher, wenn man nachts auf der Straße ausgeht, aber da ich Uber/99 benutzt habe, um mich fortzubewegen, war es super ruhig. Einfacher Zugang zu den wichtigsten Touristenattraktionen in Rio de Janeiro.

I booked JW Marriott Copacabana because, surprisingly, the price wasn’t much higher than nearby 3–4 star hotels. The location is truly premium, right on Copacabana Beach and the rooftop overlooks the entire beach, which is a huge plus. My room faced the inside of the building, so I had to keep the curtains closed the whole time for privacy, which made the room quite dark. That said, the room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff were generally nice, but everything felt quite slow check-in, check-out, room service requests, and even housekeeping. Breakfast was good in quality but exactly the same every day. Getting a table in the morning was also frustratingly slow; at one point around 10 people were waiting, and it took about 10 minutes just to be seated. The rooftop views are amazing, but the design is honestly very awkward and outdated. The pool is at the back with almost no view, when it could easily have been a stunning infinity pool. The bar area felt cheap, and the thick glass panels and wide columns made it hard to enjoy the view or take good photos. The whole rooftop design felt very old-fashioned. Overall, the hotel feels stuck in time. It’s a bit sad, because with such an incredible location, a modern renovation could easily make this one of the best hotels in the world. For the price I paid, I was still satisfied, but it definitely didn’t feel like a true luxury experience.

This property has the potential to be amazing, but it needs a few key updates. The location is fabulous, the staff is excellent, and the restaurant is great both in terms of service and food quality. The room was spacious, and the balcony was unbeatable. If you only speak English, you can get by staying here because all of the staff speak excellent English. We encountered a problem when the showerhead broke off, but the repairman came reasonably quickly to replace it, and he was very polite and not disruptive. We ordered room service, and Dom Rio, the hotel’s restaurant, delivered it quickly. I had the filet which was cooked properly to the correct temperature (medium rare). My fiancé had the alfredo pasta which she liked a lot. The breakfast had a huge selection, and everything tasted good. The only thing keeping this hotel from earning top marks is the general state of much of the decor in the rooms. The curtains look shabby and dirty from moisture, and the wood of the cabinets is warped also. It is very hard to maintain a room that is constantly exposed to salt water and ocean breeze, but the materials chosen have not stood up to age. I would recommend staying here if you are interested in staying in Barra at a nice but reasonably priced hotel, but don’t expect the finest luxury. Expect a very large, fairly clean room with a comfortable bed and an amazing view.

Es war meine erste Hotel-Hosting, ich wurde sehr gut von Anfang bis Ende behandelt. Super neue und Zeit-Anlagen. Sehr schöne Gärten, alles sehr gut vorsichtig. Das gute Essen, die Mitarbeiter tun dich zu Hause. Super Empfehlung.

I’d describe this hotel as utilitarian. No decor or warmth at all. The common areas are spacious and quite bare.Table and chairs at the restaurant are plain brown wood, The lobby is sparsely furnished with some worn , drab and very uncomfortable seats. Bathrooms are the same. Just the very bare essentials, not even a box of tissue paper ( and thin toilet paper) We travelled long hours,  arrived at 22:00 looking forward to a good shower …not to be. We were up for a bad start. There  was just a trickle of water not enough to bathe or properly brush teeth either. That could have been a whole area problem as we were told that water pressure can sometimes drop in some areas of the city. We changed rooms , water pressure  wasn’t much better the next day either, the water flow improved just a little and remained as such the whole week. We had paid for 5 nights and ended up staying as the city was packed that week . To go looking for another hotel during the G20 summit which Rio was hosting that week of November 2024 would not be an easy task.  On the positive side, staff was pleasant and accommodating, bed was comfortable and from our perspective, the breakfast buffet was the best feature of this hotel offering abundant variety of  food to meet all tastes- cereal, fruits and cheeses, cold cuts, several hot savory breakfast  dishes - incl. some Brazilian regional dishes as well, a huge selection of breads, cakes, good coffee, and more. Very satisfying. Including breakfast in the booking is highly recommended.  The good fare offered at the hotel at lunch and dinner not good at all. However, there are also three of four restaurants lined up on a small stretch within 5 min walking distance of the hotel- one of them is a very good authentic European Portuguese cuisine and wine. Aprox. US$ 52 for a meal for two. On the same cluster of shops there is a well established Brazilian cuisine restaurant with a good menu where one can eat well for anything  between US$ 12  to US$ 15 and a steak house similar to the Australian Outback steak house.  There are also other eateries snd convenience shops, a pharmacy on the same stretch ( 5 min walk ffrom the hotel) including a 24 hr laundromat where one can expect to wash and dry a load for about US$ 7.  As for location, this hotel is not close to the most well known districts of Rio - places like Copacabana, Ipanema , Leblon - but Barra da Tijuca is a special area in itself and arguably has the best beach in town. The hotel is just a 10 - 15 min taxi ride to Barra Shopping-  the largest and best shopping mall in the whole state of Rio de Janeiro where one can find anything,  including restaurants (recommend trying Jappa all you can eat Japanese food spread for US$ 26 as in Nov 2024). On the whole , when compared with the fashionable and pricey districts of Copacabana , Ipanema Leblon  this hotel is good value for money . I’d stay there again if they fixed the shower situation b’cause this feature matters for me.

Es ist schön, altes Personal im Pestana Rio Atlantica zu finden! Ich habe das Hotel seit 2001 mit meinem Kind besucht und wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub! Es hat sich einiges geändert, aber die Sympathie von JR an der Rezeption, die 2 S-S im Restaurant, ohne Vivaldo am Eingang und das Gepäck zu vergessen. An der Poolbar gaben mir das Zimmermädchen vom 12. und andere Leute das Gefühl, im Urlaub zu sein. Das Einzige, was ich bereue, ist die Größe der Zimmer: - Früher waren die Suiten am Meer geräumig und heute wurden sie in eine kleine Suite umgewandelt und der Gesamtraum bot zwei zusätzliche Schlafzimmer. Es lebe die Rentabilität!
