I’ve never written a bad hotel review ever in my life, but unfortunately, here it goes. It’s a shame since other past reviews are very positive, but I need to be frank and honest about my experience and will be diving the ratings according to subcategories so that it is fair, since some aspects of the stay were great and some not so much. Check in process: 2 stars This is not the ‘typical’ hotel entrance where the lobby is on the ground floor. The floor in which you enter is 1/f. The floor of the hotel is 4/f, but this is clearly stated as a signage at the entrance (see photo attached). Upon arrival, I went towards the hotel entrance . There, I stood in front of an operating system, where guests would need to enter the hotel using a key fob. Of course, I wouldn’t have this key fob at hand at check in. There are no clear instructions in any language above the operator stating how you should call the receptionist using the operator to open the door for you (refer to attached photo). Thankfully, a passerby was kind enough to help me call the receptionist and asked her to open the door for me. It is also better to have mobile data at hand so you can communicate with the staff via whatsapp text/call if you cannot enter, since I think this is the faster means of communicating with guests. When I checked in, I explained my confusion to entering the building. I told the receptionist lady that I couldn’t enter since there are no instructions in any language above the operator. She then had the audacity to tell me that there ARE indeed instructions above the operator im English, and I should have followed it. Again, the photo I attached shows no such instructions, so I do not comprehend what she is talking about at all. Upon departure, I voiced out these issues, and the more reasonable receptionists said that they usually send these check in details via email, though I had not received such email(s). Noise level and disturbance: 2 stars My room had really thin walls and you can easily hear people passing through in the hallway. I got to a room with a balcony and up until 2 am, I still continuously heard 2 women talking loudly non-stop in the room next to me. To attempt to put a halt to this, I called the receptionist using the calling button thrice in my room, since the initial receptionist lady who checked me in said they provided 24 hour service, and to my dismay, no one bothered answering me. I had to personally take matters into my own hands and asked them to keep it down. Room and amenities: 5 stars In terms of amenities provided within the room and how it was renovated and all, it deserves 5 stars. It was clean and the amenities provided were plentiful for a short stay.

Best hotel we stayed in the caucasus! Room size was big. Loved the professional service from the front desk, very clean rooms, amazing breakfast and after 2 days of having breakfast in the hotel, the very attentive staff at the breakfast area even rem my surname! That was a pleasant surprise! Enjoyed every moment here and was sad to leave. Will definitely recommend everyone to stay!!!

Hotel stay was very nice and the room was very large and clean

Easy to walk to main attractions - Replibic Square in 5 mins, the local flea market in 3 mins, Carrefour supermarket in 3 mins. That said, surrounding is a bit dark and quiet with a construction site right next to the hotel. Room spacious, one free bottle water upon arrival. The thing that I don't like is the rather warm air conditioning (useless to adjust). I finally had to open the windows but then attracted mosquitoes in. Another thing not that good is thatthe buffet breakfast started rather late, at 8am. Day tours usually start at 9am(and in another location around 10-15 mins ride away). That means I had to rush my breakfast within 15-20 mins.

Прекрасный небольшой уютный отель в центре города находится в шаговой доступности от основных достопримечательностей. Расположен во дворе, и поэтому не слышно шума улиц. Номер просторный светлый. Имеется все необходимое для комфортного проживания. Полноценный завтрак был включен в стоимость. Вежливый приветливый персонал хорошо говорят на русском и английском. Имеется свой закрытый маленький дворик со столиками. Зимой им не пользовались, но летом очень приятно провести здесь время, попить чай или позавтракать в тени деревьев.

Выбирали отель в центре, хотелось новый с хорошим сервисом. Угадали на 100%. Отель рекомендую, расположение 10 из 10. Северный проспект, Площадь республики, куча хороших ресторанов, супермаркет и алкомаркет с армянским вином и коньяком, всё в пешей доступности. Все новое, брали номер улучшенный на 9-м этаже возле СПА, отличный вид из окон. Да, номера не большие, но все что необходимо есть. Убирают хорошо, в ванной халаты и тапочки, косметика, каждый день бутилированная вода и кофемашина в номере. Есть гладильная доска и утюг. В номере тихо. Лобби небольшое, но с каким-то модным баром, в выходные дни вечером куча молодежи. Отличное обслуживание, девушка с красивым именем Мариам Яиз, подготовила сюрприз на День рождения, в номере нас ждала бутылка игристого, открытка с пожеланиями на русском и тортик. Приятно. Большим плюсом считаю наличие кафе Paul внизу отеля. Вход прямо из лобби, можно оплатить картой. На завтрак в отеле не ходили - долго спали, ходили в Paul, отличный кофе, сендвичи, круссаны, свежевыжатый сок. Отель рекомендую, персонал - молодцы, с удовольствием посетим еще раз.

Don’t be misled by the high ranking point of this place. The only thing it deserves 10 out of 10 is people who work there. The helped us to get to the third floor with luggage. And yes the hotel is on the third floor and only stairs! The bed is not professional hotel bed, the mattress is soft and has waves in it, so you have to choose the right position of you body to catch the straight part, the pillows are very cheap and extremely soft, the don’t hold your head at all. You can feel the sweat smell mixed with other people perfume through the pillowcase. It’s disgusting. The whole building and the room in particular have very strong smell of smoking. I assume people smoked there for many years and stopped in nearest past, so the smell is really strong. In my country it is prohibited to smoke in public places for many years now and I completely forgot that unpleasant smell. And the noise, it is so loud, as if you sleep right in the street. Cars, bikes, music, people laughing, so loud. All in all it is place to stay when you drive for a long time and stopped in some cheap motel by the road when you are unable to drive any longer. Not suitable for stay in city, even if it is one night stay. Unless you’re ok with all the things above.

Ich habe diese Buchung für einen Freund gemacht, und ich teilen seine Bewertung für ihn: “Ich würde sicher noch einmal hier bleiben. Das Zimmer und das Bett waren sauber und komfortabel, und das Hotel war beeindruckend ruhig. Das Wi-Fi war stark, das Rezeptionpersonal war freundlich, und ich liebte die tägliche Vielzahl von warmen Frühstücksoptionen. Die einzigen Nebenwirkungen waren ein paar gebrochene Lampen (so war die Beleuchtung dumm) und eine tote Batterie im Raum sicher. Allerdings, angesichts des hervorragenden Preiss, waren diese kleinere Fragen. Sehr empfohlen für den Wert! “

Ich habe das Alex Hotel ausgewählt, um dort eine halbe Nacht und einen Vormittag zwischen zwei Flügen zu verbringen. Das war eine gute Wahl, denn ich war mit dem Taxi in etwa 10 Minuten im Hotel (es liegt ein paar Kilometer vor der Stadtgrenze), das Hotel war leicht zu finden und ich wurde um 3 Uhr nachts abgeholt und zum Einchecken eingeladen. Es ist ruhig und das Zimmer war sauber. Im Bad gab es heißes Wasser. Ich würde einen Duschvorhang empfehlen, da Duschen unmöglich war und das Wasser buchstäblich das ganze Bad vollspritzte. Zum Frühstück gab es Reis mit Kichererbsen, so etwas wie vegetarisches Schawarma, Kohl- und Karottensalat, zwei Sorten Kekse, Tee und Kaffee. 3000 Dram sind meiner Meinung nach ein bisschen zu viel. Insgesamt ist das Hotel jedoch gut für eine Übernachtung zwischen zwei Flügen geeignet.

Отель соответствует заявленной цене проживания, но не соответствует заявленному количеству звезд. Впечатление хорошее, но отсутствие чайных ложек на завтраке создает некоторое неудобство.
