Edgar Suites Saint-Lazare - Amsterdam

What an exceptionally well appointed and comfortable apartment to stay in for our trip to Paris. The beds were super super comfortable, it felt really spacious and had everything we could need (coffee machine, washer, air con in all bedrooms and the living room), dishwasher. There was a smart TV and very comfortable couch. There was a lift in the apartments which was super handy for our luggage. The location was great, quiet at night but a few doors down from some awesome brasseries, boulangerie and the Leige Metro. What a find! Thanks for having us.

Stayed here as a party of 3 - 2 adults and 1 teen. This apartment is rented by a larger company that I think has a variety of accommodation options in Paris. Ours was a recently renovated 2nd-floor apartment in a well-located street between Montmartre and the city center. Access was through 2 key coded doors so felt very secure and the apartment itself was a nice size being made up of a living room/kitchen/dining area, a separate bathroom and a double bedroom. It had lovely high ceilings, 2 large windows opening to a central courtyard and was all finished in a modern but sympathetic style. Given our chief need was to have space for a teenage girl and not be all piled into one hotel room, this was an excellent choice. The bathroom was spotless with a very good shower, the kitchen area had all you could need and would easily have allowed us to live there rather than just stay there with a dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, hob and microwave. The bedroom was comfortable and the sofa bed was both large and of good quality. Service from the company was exemplary without being intrusive. They met us at the property, explained everything and then left us to it. Regular communication by email and/or text meant that you never felt completely on your own though and I'd have no doubt that they'd have been promptly on hand should anything have gone wrong. All in all, it was hard to fault. We'd use the company again without any hesitation.

Perfect for a family or couples. The apartment is fully equipped, clean, comfortable and well located. Edgar and his team are super friendly and welcoming. We really liked the tourist map they gave us with many tips of the locals. Very recommended!

Partiamo dall'inizio. (6/7/8 Ottobre 2022) L'appartamento a Montmartre (1, Rue des Abbesses) che io e le mie amiche avevamo pagato (circa 2.000€ per 3 notti) e per il quale ci era arrivata conferma da *********** e dai gestori della struttura stessa il giorno prima di arrivare a Parigi (con invio dei codici per entrare), quando siamo arrivate (ore 21) era occupato da altre persone. Il flat manager, accampando scuse poco chiare, ci ha assegnato un altro appartamento (in altra zona e di livello inferiore) dandoci via whatsapp l’indirizzo e i codici per entrare nel palazzo in Rue d'Amsterdam e nella scala dove era situata la nostra nuova sistemazione, che vista l'ora ci siamo costrette ad accettare. La porta del nuovo appartamento era già aperta al nostro arrivo e per la stanchezza non ci siamo rese conto che il flat manager non ci aveva dato il codice per entrare nell'appartamento. La mattina seguente, scontente per la sistemazione (che abbiamo controllato su booking costava circa 250€ in meno a notte), ma entusiaste di essere a Parigi e volerla visitare, io e le mie amiche siamo uscite chiudendo la porta dietro di noi. Solo a tarda sera (verso le 22.15), quando siamo rientrate dopo cena, arrivate sul pianerottolo dell'appartamento, ci siamo rese conto di non potervi entrare poichè non avevamo il codice. Dopo aver telefonato al flat manager per farci dare il codice e aver ricevuto la risposta scocciata che noi già lo avevamo, invece di scusarsi e darcelo, abbiamo dovuto insistere e dimostrargli che nel whatsapp in cui c'erano i codici del portone e della scala non c'era quello dell'appartamento. Per telefono non è stato in grado di spiegarsi (dava numeri che non funzionavano) e nonostante gli chiedessimo di scriverci il codice in un nuovo messaggio, questo codice non ce lo ha mai inviato. Inoltre, gli abbiamo chiesto di venire di persona ad aprirci la porta poichè abbiamo anche pensato che ci fosse un mal funzionamento proprio del meccanismo di apertura. Abbiamo allora chiamato anche la struttura EDGAR SUITES MONTMARTRE spiegando l’accaduto; ma anche la signorina non è stata in grado di aiutarci. Una volta arrivato il flat manager (ormai era passata quasi un’ora), tra l’altro cercando di filmarci col telefonino di nascosto, le cose non sono migliorate. Era visibilmente arrabbiato ed ha continuato ad insistere che noi eravamo in possesso del codice. Solo dopo aver detto che avremmo chiamato la gendarmerie e dopo averlo fatto parlare direttamente al telefono con la signorina di Edgar Suites Montmartre, ci ha aperto utilizzando un codice di sblocco. Nei nostri confronti si è dimostrato minaccioso e ha tenuto un comportamento talmente inspiegabile che abbiamo ritenuto di non essere al sicuro nell’appartamento (del quale ancora una volta non ci aveva rilasciato il codice). Dunque, una volta entrate, abbiamo preso i nostri bagagli e abbiamo avvisato la struttura che avremmo lasciato immediatamente l’appartamento a causa del comportamento tenuto dal flat
