Le Katorze Hôtel

I made a booking at this hotel for 7 nights during the Paris Olympics for a great rate that I found online. Unfortunately they cancelled on me and then I saw the same room type available for $1500 more for the same dates and it is still available to this day. I would not trust them to honor your reservation because they can easily cancel it to make more money if they think they can get a better rate.

Nice and quiet hotel, kind staff allowed us to use earlier our room for free. Our room was clean small but nice decorated.Several metro stations as well as cafes and restaurants options nearby. A good choice for a short stay in city of Paris !!

My friend and I stayed here for one night . Agree with other review , definitely not a 4* in any capacity . The room was tiny, no walking room at all although it was clean . The bathroom was nice and shower was good . Breakfast was less than satisfactory , only eggs are scrambled and are left in the hot plate until they are gone, not very appealing if you are down a couple of hours after breakfast starts . There was only three rolled up slices of ham in the cold plate , and no selection of bread . We paid almost €250 for our one night, definitely didnt get value for our money , however Paris sells itself !! its a bank breaker :)

Stayed here for 1 night on a work trip and sadly was very disappointed. Although it's clean and looks nice, there are a lot of faults. For some reason the toilet was separate from the bathroom which was bizarre. There was no soap in the toilet so you had to go into the bathroom to wash your hands. The handle of the window snapped off when opening it and a part of the window fell on my head from above. It was extremely hot in the room and there is no air conditioning and you can't open the window and have the curtains closed at the same time. There were only decaffeinated coffee capsules for the machine and no tea and no milk in the room. The breakfast was appalling and definitely not 5*... the only hot food available was some awful pre-made rubbery scrambled eggs which were disgusting and they informed us there were no fresh eggs so no poached eggs or any other type available. There was no bread...only a white baguette which wasn't suitable for toasting. The baked beans were cold and there was no bacon/sausge or anything else available. The coffee was cold from the coffee machine. Was very disappointing and not what I expected from a 4* hotel at all. The toilet in the room did not flush properly.

En déplacement 2 jours par semaine à Paris, j ai vu sur mon site professionnel cet hôtel. 4 étoiles, Un prix attractif, un positionnement correct et de belles photos, Je décide de réserver en ajoutant que je souhaite être côté cour, grand lit et loin de l’ascenseur. La réalité est toute autre : chambre minuscule et salle de bain très sale ( poils et cheveux multiples sur le carrelage blanc et évier bouché). Aucune de mes demandes n’aient respectées. En partant dîner, je le signale et l’on me dit que demain le nécessaire sera fait pour que la chambre soit propre. Le lendemain la même saleté, rien a été fait. Je le signale de nouveau au Check out et on me dit « désolé « ….. Enfin pour vous finir de vous convaincre, le petit déjeuner est juste nul, que du surgelé et la climatisation ne marche pas. Bref passer votre chemin, vraiment c est honteux et dire qu’ils ont 4 étoiles…

nous étions en chambre double standard, lit en 140cm ! je ne savais pas que c’était encore considéré comme lit double dans les hôtels... l'accueil est cordial, sans plus, le petit-déjeuner à 15€ est déplorable : pain sec, très peu de choix et quantités minuscules, allez au bar en face, c'est moitié moins cher et 2 fois meilleur. Il y a dans les chambres toutes commodités, la rue est calme, le métro tout près. Le lit (petit pour 2) est confortable. le tout est propre, rien à dire de ce coté là.
