Personal immer lächelnd, sehr freundlich und für alle Anfragen verfügbar. Lage ausgezeichnet angesichts der Nähe des U-Bahnhofs Gare de l'est. Komfortable Zimmer und unverschämtes Reinigen. Gutes Frühstück. Empfohlen!

Ich wurde hier gestohlen und die Mitarbeiter erleichterten es. Eine der schlimmsten Hotelerfahrungen, die ich je hatte. Ich war mit einer großen Tourgruppe, und drei Stunden vor dem Verlassen nach einem zehntägigen Aufenthalt, ein seltsamer Mann gezwungen (gezwungen? wurde eingelassen?) in 15 oder so der Zimmer meiner Gruppe, die wir wissen, vielleicht mehr, wenn nicht alle. Ich wurde gestohlen. Mein Laptop und iPad wurden gestohlen, so waren meine Zimmerkammerin Tonträger und tragbare Ladegeräte sowie ein wenig Geld auf dem Desktop. Mein Koffer war durchgedreht und meine Sachen waren umgestreckt. Der Hotel-Desk-Arbeiter machte es möglichst schwer, es zu berichten. Er würde nicht 112 für mich anrufen oder für mich übersetzen, da ich nicht Französisch spreche. Er hat unsere eigene Tour-Gruppe schuldig gemacht, er hat mich dafür schuldig gemacht, dass ich sie nicht verriegelt habe, obwohl ich es getan habe, er sagte, dass ihre Schließungen nicht gebrochen werden können. Nachdem ich endlich die Polizei gefangen genommen habe, würde er immer noch nicht für mich übersetzen und sie über das, was passiert ist, gelogen, nach einem meiner Freunde, die einige Französisch sprachen. Er würde uns nicht die Sicherheitsfoto des Mannes sehen, der in die Zimmer gebrochen und uns erzählte, dass der Manager „dies morgens überprüfen würde“, angemessen nachdem wir das Land bereits verlassen hätten. Wie würde ein Fremder noch so viele Zimmer unserer Tourgruppe haben, bevor wir verlassen sollten, wenn sie nicht eingelassen worden wären? Ich hatte meine Tür verriegelt und hatte den einzigen Schlüssel, den sie meinem Zimmerkollegen und mir bei dem Ereignis gegeben haben. Sie schlugen sogar in Zimmer, die Menschen waren in der Gegend, und der Mitarbeiter tat absolut nichts davon. Der Manager kam nie auf. Bevor ich gestohlen wurde, mag ich das Hotel nicht besonders an der ersten Stelle. Die Zimmer selbst waren klein und unser Badezimmer-Wc-Sitz hatte in ihnen Zigaretten verbrannte Löcher. Alles in allem eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung mit schrecklichen Mitarbeitern, die organisierten, dass unsere Zimmer gebrochen und gebürstet werden. Unglaublich. Ich weiß, Diebstahl ist in Europa üblich, aber es war so offensichtlich, dass es so offensichtlich durch das Hotel erleichtert wurde, wütend und ich konnte nichts tun, als ich sie mit meinen Geräten wegfahren sah. bleib nicht hier. Sie werden Ihre Sachen stehlen und versuchen, es Ihnen zu verschulden.

Entschlossen, eine letzte Minute Reise nach Paris zu buchen & mein Partner hatte dieses Hotel als Teil eines Pakets reserviert. Bei der Suche nach dem Hotel war ich sehr skeptisch, wie dieses Hotel wäre und hatte sehr niedrige Standards der Ankunft wegen aller Bewertungen, die ich gelesen habe. Das Zimmer & Hotel war sauber und gemütlich, das Personal ist wunderschön und nichts war für sie ein Problem, das Frühstück wurde schnell und wieder gefüllt, wenn fertig! Nur ein Niedergang ist, wie klein das Badezimmer ist, ziemlich ein Kampf um alles im Badezimmer, wie es alle in so eng verpackt ist & die Matratze war ein wenig unbehaglich, Aber das Stück war nicht zu viel von einem Unbehagen für mich, als die Pissen für es gemacht! Zwei Sterne schlug vor allem für die Größe des Badezimmers und der Matratze, aber kann nicht zu viel aufgrund des bezahlten Preises grumble! Noch sehr glücklich und zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt.

Sehr sauber, super freundliches Personal, das Zimmer ist zwar sehr klein, aber hat alles, was es braucht und die Lage ist top (direkt gegenüber des gare de l'est). Das Frühstück ist für ein 3 Sterne Hotel sehr umfangreich und lecker. Trotz zentraler Lage nicht zu laut (Fenster zum Innenhof) mit Klimaanlage.

Sehr freundliches Personal, von dem wir immer mit einem Lächeln begrüßt wurden. Unser Zimmer war entsprechend der Pariser Verhältnisse groß/klein, was aber für uns völlig ausreichend war. Unser Bett war sehr bequem, vorallem die Kissen sehr weich 😍 Auch wurde das Zimmer jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt und es war somit sehr sauber. Angenehm, dass man das Fenster weit aufmachen konnte, was nicht üblich ist für Paris. Wir mögen die Gegend am Ende des Canal Saint Martin bzw am Bassin Villette. Man kann von dort aus gut mit der Metro alle Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen oder zu Fuß am Canal Richtung Platz der République entlang schlendern. Auch kann man eine schöne Runde joggen gehen in Richtung La Villette. Wenn man sich für das Hotel entscheidet sollte man noch wissen dass es in der Nähe einer großen Kreuzung und der oberirdischen Metrostation Jaurés ist. Entsprechend kann es nachts etwas laut sein, was uns aber nichts ausgemacht hat. Wenn man den ganzen Tag zu Fuß in Paris unterwegs ist, kann man sicher gut schlafen. In der Gegend übernachten einige Obdachlose, wie an vielen Stellen in Paris. Sie sind friedlich, davon sollte man sich also nicht abschrecken lassen.

I am extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel during my 4 day visit to Paris. the friendly service, the cleanliness, the delicious food, the pleasant atmosphere (nice music, calmness and politeness from Sasha, Patrick, Isabelle and the women who take care of the cleanliness and the delicious breakfast). very convenient location, as well as proximity to a metro station. I wish I'd listened to the few recent bad reviews that had been written about this property and kept my reservation at our original small boutique, well-rated BW affiliated hotel. However, given we were only staying a night and that it was offered for a reasonable number of points for as a Bonvoy reward, I took the jump. Elite members used to decent Marriott-branded hotels, spend the extra points and choose one of the other Paris hotels (the Westin, the other Marriott or the Renaissance). I can confirm that: -AC or the hotel's ventilation system currently doesn't work. Windows don't open. We had the vent blowing on ”high” and it was just recirculating air. I have a travel clock that's also a thermometer. We never managed to cool the room below 24C. It was around 13 or 14C outside that night. Shouldn't have been that hard to cool down the room by 2-3 degrees to sleep well. I love the thick feather duvets Marriott uses, but not when the room can't be cooled down to 20-21C. When I called the service hotline, I was told they were having issues with the system and it was what it was. No offer to even bring up a fan. Nothing. It was a ”oh well, too bad” attitude. -We also had toilet issues. Our toilet flushed poorly. You had to hold the flush button for at least 30 seconds to properly flush anything. -Platinum/Titanium elite members, forget about receiving any value or being recognized here. I don't expect an upgrade to a suite or the top corner room every time I stay. I understand hotels do what they can with what they have available. Their inventory shows ”executive” rooms and diffetent types of suites available. We booked a standard ”Paris view” king room and received a ”Paris view, high floor” king room. The way the floors are built, the elevators are in the middle. There's around 15, maybe 18 rooms to the left or right of the elevator lobby on each floor. Our door was 4 doors away. Couldn't even be bothered to place us further away. That was my minimal expectation. No slippers or bathrobes in rooms here. Poor shower pressure. Good luck washing your hair if you have long ones. -Front desk: The coldest reception welcome I've received at a Marriott in a long time. I swear if Bill Marriott was still CEO, properties like this would get a call from HQ to review their staff training. We are French Canadians. The agent was struggling in French and answered us in English a few times even though we were clearly not English speakers. That was extremely odd in Paris. No mention of Bonvoy status, only that, and I quote ”breakfast is not included. Because of your membership, you can take the continental buffet tomorrow morning at the restaurant. Normally, it's not included, but we don't have a lounge at the moment”. Jeez louise, I felt like I was being handed a favour... -There's a ”Bonvoy Elite” line for the front desk, but it was neither manned or enforced in the evening when we arrrived, or the following day at check out, where the line was all t

I was debating between a 4 or 5 star review but had to go with 4. The hotel itself is located a short 3 minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and the Metro station. The property is very nice and the staff was excellent, English was really spoken as were many other languages. The breakfast was excellent, I'd recommend the package with breakfast included. Two reasons for the one star reduction. First, the hotel has 2 elevators. One was foam when we checked in and had been for some time. Having one elevator in a hotel with 118 rooms becomes problematic at busy times and we waited for 5 elevators more than once. It looks like either the elevator was damaged by water or mechanical or a renovation was planned, but.. I think it was the former as a renovation is done and workers are present and the situation scheduled. This was just a sign and apologies. The second issue was one evening we came back to the hotel from a day out all day to find our bathroom had 1 towel, not a full size but a bath mat sized towel. We were informed their towel service didn't return the towels that day. We baked and a second small towel showed up but, that was not well planned out. The GM did apologize profusely, but it seemed like poor inventory control to hand zero stock on hand. Otherwise, great location, fantastic staff, rooms are decent sized and well appointed.
