Stayed in this hotel for few nights with friends for a Christmas getaway. Surprisingly for the prize of the hotel I really like it, the rooms are decent in size. We got a twin room and our other friends got a family room which is massive having 3 beds in total , the other bed is like a sofa bed with a sliding door that could turn into a separate room. The breakfast is included, it is a buffet style serves with hot food choices and continental style. The pastries are gorgeous specially the croissant. You can also make your own waffle, which my friends really love. It is self-service so when you finished with your food you have to bring your tray in the dish trolley. The bar is open until 10pm with little selection. But there are resto and bars in surrounding areas if you like a lively vibe. The staff are friendly especially the male guy, which the name I forgot. We thought we can have dinner in the hotel, but he said they dont have dinner service. He told us we can have a takeaway delivered in the hotel and we can eat it in the hotel lobby, no problem. So we did and order take away and the food was gorgeous. The location is only 10 minutes walk from the train station, its not a busy area. Overall experience was going on fine not until on our last night. We book few months ago a river cruise which all of us were so excited about and it cost us about 80euros each, we paid im advance. We were so busy the whole day making the most of it while in Paris, so we decided when we arrived back to the hotel to book a taxi in the reception. It was 5pm when we book in the reception for 7pm pick-up, the lady said okay. Our river cruise was booked at 8:00pm. When we went down at 7pm thinking the taxi is waiting for us, hell NO TAXI. So we ask reception where is our taxi, she then said (different lady) they dont book taxi and its not there responsibility really. Told us then to just get the train, that time was already 7:20pm. So we walk up to the train station took us about 15 minutes walk, the distance from train to river cruise is about 30 minutes. So we missed our cruise and lost our 80 euros hard earned money. We decided to go back to the hotel, so frustrated and disappointed. We spoke to the reception staff and explain what happened, the lady that was their apologised and said it was a trainee that we ask to book the taxi for us and that she dont know how to do it. But what can we do now, we lost our 400 euros. The lady then offerred us a free glass of white wine each and said she will took to her manager & see if they can give us a token (which NEVER happened). We learned our lesson the hard way, never ever again book a taxi with a hotel crowd.

I am extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel during my 4 day visit to Paris. the friendly service, the cleanliness, the delicious food, the pleasant atmosphere (nice music, calmness and politeness from Sasha, Patrick, Isabelle and the women who take care of the cleanliness and the delicious breakfast). very convenient location, as well as proximity to a metro station. Im Zimmer war Dreck auf dem Boden und im Bad fremde Haare die über !!! 3 Tage!!! nicht weggesaugt wurden! Die Betten und BAd wurden schön hergerichtet- gesaugt wurde aber nciht! Wir empfangen jeden Monat 1800 Kunden und das sind sie alle zufrieden mit unseren Empfangsdamen 2) In Bezug auf die Sauberkeit werden alle unsere Zimmer und öffentlichen Bereiche täglich tadellos gereinigt und unser Hotel befindet sich in einem strahlenden Ambiente und in gutem Zustand. Unsere Zimmermädchen sind professionell, kleiden sich angemessen und sind äußerst höflich und vorsichtig. Sie machen einen großartigen Job! 3) Hier sind die Fakten: Der Kunde rief die Rezeption an, um sich über das Fett ＞＞ nicht Fett, Drecke＜＜ zu beschweren, dass der Teppich nicht sauber war. Als die Rezeptionistin kam, um das Zimmer zu überprüfen, stellte sie fest, dass der Kunde, seine Frau und seine 2 Kinder aßen und auf dem Boden Krümel lagen ＞＞ zu keinem Zeitpunkt kam ein Manager oder Angestellter in unser Zimmer und hat uns Essen sehen! Das ist ein LÜGE! ＜＜＜ . Dies zeigte, dass es tatsächlich der Kunde war, der die Krümel offensichtlich verteilt hatte. Trotzdem schlug die Rezeptionistin vor, den Teppich mit dem Staubsauger zu reinigen ＞＞ die Rezeption lehnte eine Reinigung nach der wir gefragt haben ab bis sie mit dem Reinigungspersonal geredet hat. Am nächsten Tag wurde uns gesagt, es wurde gesaugt und wir sagen die Unwahrheit!＜＜ , aber der Kunde lehnte ab und verlangte stattdessen ein kostenloses Frühstück für die nächsten 3 Tage. ＞＞ wir verlangten kein Frühstück für 3 Tage sondern - da wir nur noch eine Nacht im Hotel hatten- baten wir sie es wieder gut zu machen wörtlich ”Vielleicht mit EINEM Frühstück! Nicht 4x Frühstück und auch nicht 3 Tage lang- ging auch nicht da wir am nächsten Tag abreisten. ＜＜ Wir lehnten ab, da dies eine missbräuchliche Anfrage war. Der Kunde drohte dann mit einer schlechten Bewertung, wenn wir seiner Forderung nicht nachkamen. Wir haben uns entschieden, nicht nachzugeben, weil wir uns einer solchen Erpressung weigern. ＞＞ meine Frau wurde als Lügnerin dargestellt, das Zimmer wurde immer noch nicht gesaugt und danach drohte ich nicht, sondern sagte dass ich eine entsprechende Bewertung schreiben werde was mein gutes Recht ist ＜＜

I was debating between a 4 or 5 star review but had to go with 4. The hotel itself is located a short 3 minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and the Metro station. The property is very nice and the staff was excellent, English was really spoken as were many other languages. The breakfast was excellent, I'd recommend the package with breakfast included. Two reasons for the one star reduction. First, the hotel has 2 elevators. One was foam when we checked in and had been for some time. Having one elevator in a hotel with 118 rooms becomes problematic at busy times and we waited for 5 elevators more than once. It looks like either the elevator was damaged by water or mechanical or a renovation was planned, but.. I think it was the former as a renovation is done and workers are present and the situation scheduled. This was just a sign and apologies. The second issue was one evening we came back to the hotel from a day out all day to find our bathroom had 1 towel, not a full size but a bath mat sized towel. We were informed their towel service didn't return the towels that day. We baked and a second small towel showed up but, that was not well planned out. The GM did apologize profusely, but it seemed like poor inventory control to hand zero stock on hand. Otherwise, great location, fantastic staff, rooms are decent sized and well appointed. Ask the staff for recommendations on restaurants and cafes, they are all knowledge

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. Die Hoteleinrichtungen sind sehr neu und größtenteils gut gepflegt. Der Service ist sehr gut, die meisten Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind freundlich und haben eine gute Einstellung. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist durchschnittlich, aber exquisiter. Jede Soße ist in einer separaten Glasflasche verpackt. Das Privilege-Zimmer ist sehr groß, mit einer kleinen Suite-Aufteilung und zwei Fernsehern. Wenn Sie sich für eine Unterkunft in der Nähe der Porta Maillot bis zum Arc de Triomphe entscheiden, ist dies die erste Wahl aus Kostengründen. Die Zimmer und Dienstleistungen sind viel besser als das Hyatt, das 3 Minuten entfernt ist.

We spent 3 nights here as a group of 6 (3 rooms) during September. Hotel was fabulous, very clean and modern, friendly staff and lovely breakfast. I think it must have been refurbished recently as the rooms were not at all dated as the previous reviews state. Our 3rd floor room even had a view of the Eiffel tower. Just around the corner from the train station and local shops plus an excellent Italian restaurant recommended by hotel staff. The only slight problem was we had to ask for more breakfast items to be put out each day, but I guess this is preferable to a lot wastage/dry bread. Would certainly recommend if you don't mind being a short train ride out of the city centre.

Sehr freundliches Personal, von dem wir immer mit einem Lächeln begrüßt wurden. Unser Zimmer war entsprechend der Pariser Verhältnisse groß/klein, was aber für uns völlig ausreichend war. Unser Bett war sehr bequem, vorallem die Kissen sehr weich 😍 Auch wurde das Zimmer jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt und es war somit sehr sauber. Angenehm, dass man das Fenster weit aufmachen konnte, was nicht üblich ist für Paris. Wir mögen die Gegend am Ende des Canal Saint Martin bzw am Bassin Villette. Man kann von dort aus gut mit der Metro alle Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen oder zu Fuß am Canal Richtung Platz der République entlang schlendern. Auch kann man eine schöne Runde joggen gehen in Richtung La Villette. Wenn man sich für das Hotel entscheidet sollte man noch wissen dass es in der Nähe einer großen Kreuzung und der oberirdischen Metrostation Jaurés ist. Entsprechend kann es nachts etwas laut sein, was uns aber nichts ausgemacht hat. Wenn man den ganzen Tag zu Fuß in Paris unterwegs ist, kann man sicher gut schlafen. In der Gegend übernachten einige Obdachlose, wie an vielen Stellen in Paris. Sie sind friedlich, davon sollte man sich also nicht abschrecken lassen.

GWに二泊しました。モンパルナス駅もダンフェール・ロシュロー駅も歩いて13分くらいです。 モンパルナス駅発着の空港バスがなくなったので、ダンフェール・ロシュロー駅からRERで乗り換えなく空港に行くことができるのはとても便利です。 地下鉄はゲテ駅が8分くらいのところにあります。 大きな通りにあるホテルなので周りは明るく夜に歩いても怖さはありません。しかも夜は静かです。 モンパルナス駅近くのモノプリの食料品売り場が23:40まで開いているので便利です。 フロントの男性スタッフさんのお一人が日本語が上手でびっくりしました。おまけにとても親切でした。 朝食はバゲットとプチサイズのクロワッサンにパンオショコラにパンオレザンをバスケットに入れて出してくれます。バゲット美味しかったです。 ドリンクはコーヒーか紅茶かショコラを選びポットで出してもらえます。オレンジジュースもでてきます。 それからフィナンシェ、ヨーグルトとジャムとチーズが2,3種類棚においてあります。 朝食があんまりだったら外に食べに行こうかと思ったけれど十分でした。 円安もあって4年ぶりのパリのホテルはとても高く、どこに泊まるか悩んだけれど、ここを選んで正解でした。クラッシックなエレベーターはあるし、部屋は十分な広さです。部屋に冷蔵庫はないけれど値段から考えるととても良いホテルでした。

Super Hostel, alles gut 👌 gerne jederzeit wieder. Vor der Haustür ist gleich die Metro, Supermarkt und alles was man benötigt. Ausblick auf der Dachterrasse ist mega.
