The Torarica Resort is a very good hotel. The property is very expansive close to a beautiful river, and it also adjourn the Royal Torarica hotel. The staff are very friendly, they know their stuff, very professional and always wear smiles on their faces. The food in thd hotel is very hood and the portions are on the very large sizes.
The only downside is the booming music coming from one or two specific bars and lounges directly opposite the hotel. The noise kept us awake most of the nights, with thunderous shakes of the windows. The hotel management must engage the government to either move the clubs or limit their unnecessarily loud music to the daytime.

Eerst kregen wij een kamer dat lekte. Nadat wij een filmpje en foto’s hebben getoond kregen wij een andere verzorgde kamer met complimenten van de manager en staff.

Une chambre correcte mais le lavabo n'est pas très pratique car il est assez petit. Le tuyau de douche avait des fuites donc ca mouillait le sol ou les cheveux même en faisant attention. Le personnel est très patient et accueillant. Le service de chambre est correct, le cadre est beau et agréable et l'hôtel est à proximité de plusieurs excellents restaurants ou de snacks.
Le centre ville est accessible 10 à 15 min à pied.

Flights get in very late so upon arrival at the hotel most of us are hungry. No vending machines or any late night room service. Otherwise great hotel.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the rooms were spacious and clean. There were many activities to keep you occupied. The breakfast was excellent and served buffet style. Overall, the trip was thoroughly enjoyed.

The staff is their biggest asset. Very thoughtfull. Good communication skills. Breakfast is excellent till 11u. Local surprises. Good capuccino. Cozy pool and restaurant. Good Wellnes facilities. Location is perfect. Some rooms a litte bit outdated. Renovation has started.

Beautiful hotel in the center of Paramaribo and by the river. Walking distance to a number of historic places and tour operators which facilitated the logistics of the various tours we did. The children enjoyed the pool and loved the garden. Food was delicious and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The only recommendation we want to give is to upgrade the reception area, needs renovation, remember is the first impression you give to visitors. In all, we had a lovely stay and we will come back.

For my final night in Paramaribo I was looking for a nice place to hang out and this was it. The hotel has a nice layout and the grounds are beautiful and there is a nice big pool to get wet in. Service and food are great and the rooms are big and spacious. And for me it was a little more special because it was built in the early 60's and so it had that mid-century modern feel which I love. And you can't beat the location, the best of any hotel I think. I'd definitely stay here again. Just so you know, I checked out the Royal and the Eco, but liked this one in the middle. The Royal was newer, but not as nice on all levels, and so for me I'd pay less to stay here. And then the Eco was a little too basic and a little further away. For the price differential with the Eco, it is worth the extra money to stay at the first and best Torarica.
