Amber Dale Luxury Hotel & Spa, Munnar

Worth every penny. The Lake view rooms are totally worth the money. It is located at the highest peak in Munnar and offer an un obstructed view. Their morning tea-plantation treck conducted by Mr Rajan are worth looking forward to. However I found the hotel lacking in the restaurant department. The food was okay at best but the welcoming staff more than makes up for it

Our 2 nights stay at Amber Dale was amazing! The Room was great and the view was breathtaking! Special thanks to Preeti and Vidya for their amazing hospitality and service related to Food and Beverages. Also, a special mention of Chef Mahesh food, our Breakfast and Dinners were outstanding with a range of items to savour. This will surely be my go to Hotel in Munnar on our next visit. Thanks to the Team once again for making our stay memorable.

We booked Honeymoon Jacuzzi Suite. It has an exceptional view. Highly recommended! The experience was out of this world. The customer service was top notch. Special mention to Annmariya for her amazing hospitality. The dinner buffet was amazing - especially the Kerala veg cuisine. The non-veg was okayish. But all in all, great food and amazing breakfast spread. Tip - Go for Ananta rooms for valley view, Sarga has mountain view. Previous night we had booked Sarga.

Amber Dale is an excellent resort set in the mountains of Pallivasal Munnar. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The views were amazing and the rooms were beautiful. The staff is very helpful and attentive from the front desk to dining room and room service. I would highly recommend this hotel and you will not be disappointed.

The biggest strength of Amber Dale Resort is the breathtaking views it offers. Perched upon a hill, it provides commanding vistas of the surrounding hills and mountains. The view kept me glued to the hotel balcony at all times of the day. The staff were exceptionally friendly, with special mention to Ms. Kajal, who ensured a smooth checkout experience. The food at the restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced. For those considering a stay, here are a couple of important points: 1. Amber Dale is not located in Munnar town. It is situated in a remote hill location, so there are no easy walking trips to the market. 2. The resort does not have many indoor activities or extensive gardens/lawns. Don’t expect areas for outdoor leisure. I did not have any issues due to the above two points and felt personally satisfied with my stay. In the mornings I was greeted by loud whistling sounds, it took me a while to realize that they are coming from the 'Malabar whistling thrush' :)

The room and ambience was simply amazing ………………. Service was best in class. Nice food choices also…………the room veiw is very beautyful…..❤️ the activites are very good ………………….good hospitality ……….. thank u all the staffs and management………
