Hotels in der Nähe von JD Sports, Oxford

Gleich gelegen in der Nähe der Stadt, das war für meine Jungs reserviert. Das Frühstück verfügt über eine große Auswahl an freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Die Bar ist 24 Stunden. Dieses Mal habe ich ein Standard-Familienzimmer ausgewählt, das 1 Doppelbett und ein Sofabett mehr als geeignet war. Freier Parkplatz. Ich würde das Beste Westen in Oxford definitiv empfehlen.

Zurück von 4 Nachts Aufenthalt im Hawkwell House Hotel und genossen unserem Aufenthalt gründlich. Zunächst habe ich direkt mit dem Hotel reserviert, nicht die Firmenwebsite Mecure wollen und erhielt genau das, was ich wollte ... großer Kundenservice. Chavi war extrem hilfreich. Das Hotel selbst ist gut gelegen, etwa 10-15 Minuten mit dem Bus zum Oxford City Centre (Stopp auf Iffley Turn). Das Hotel war sauber, freundlich mit dem Personal, gutes Essen für Frühstück (gute Wahl) und Abendessen. Wir essen zweimal in der Bar. Nur ein paar mögliche Anmerkungen zu möglicher Verbesserung. Es wäre nützlich, einen Anmerkung im Zimmer zu haben, um die Gäste von Mahlzeiten (Frühstück). Ich bemerke, die meisten Papier wurde unter Covid entfernt, aber es gab eine Oxfordshire Broschüre. Vielleicht etwas im Fernsehen zu programmieren? Wie bei einer anderen Bewertung würde in unseren Zimmern frühe Stunden des Morgens ein Wasserpumpen-Typ-Geräusch auftreten. Das klang wie der Luftkon/Heizgerät und während nicht größer, dass es Untersuchungen nötig sein könnte. Es ist ähnlich wie die Arbeit und wir brauchten nicht zu verwenden, aber vielleicht kann die Anleitung für die Gäste nützlich sein? Insgesamt genossen unsere Aufenthalte gründlich und wenn jemals Oxford Weg würde sicher wieder kommen! Danke.

Ich war hier für Arbeit und war nicht viel zu erwarten, aber es war besser als viele Orte, die ich geblieben habe. Sauber, gemütlich und sehr bequem für Oxford und die Gegend hatte viele Einrichtungen. Großes Personal, serviert von Aura und wurde von der Gastfreundschaft abgeblasen. Will def be back

Hotel staff polite and courteous. Rooms clean and spacious, lovely fresh smell as we went into room. Location perfect, nice walk to Oxford City Centre or plenty of opportunity to take a bus from nearby stop. Breakfast delicious with plenty of variety to cater for everyone. Meals in restaurant absolutely delicious. I would thoroughly recommend a stay in this hotel. This was our second stay

Die Travelodge liegt an einer Autobahn-Raststätte. Zusätzlich gibt es hier noch ein Premier Inn mit Restaurant, eine Tankstelle, einen kleinen Supermarkt, KFC und Starbucks. Parkplätze sind vorhanden, aber kostenpflichtig. Die Zimmer sind groß, aber das ganze Hotel ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Für einen Besuch in Oxford ist das Hotel sehr gut geeignet, da direkt nebenan ein Park+Ride Parkplatz liegt. Von dort kommt von für wenig Geld mit dem Bus nach Oxford.

We stayed for two evenings in May to visit Blenheim palace. We had two rooms, both superior, one on the first floor of the pub and one leading out to the front. Both rooms were beautiful; the one outside had very low ceilings and beams (ok for us as we’re not tall), with a big clawfoot bath and a walk in wardrobe. It also had the most stunning fireplace that backs on to the one in the pub. The other room had a huge 6ft bed and a very big walk in shower. Both were incredibly comfortable and we slept well both nights. We ate at the pub both evenings; the first night a young chap was managing the restaurant, he and the team did a phenomenal job. The service and the food was superb. He second evening we shared the steak (we had two between the four of us) and it was amazing. Again the food and service was fabulous. On the Saturday we were the only ones eating breakfast, the service was prompt and the food delicious. However the breakfast on the Sunday was an absolute disaster; the chap who seated us (I didn’t catch his name but he had an overseas accent) took our order and then we waited…. We waited and waited as he seated others, took their orders and their breakfasts came while we waited. The room wasn’t full, there were about 5 other tables seated (and he walked past us several times and looked at the table). When we asked him, he blamed the kitchen then went to find out what had happened. He came back and apologised and said it would be with us shortly (to be clear, two of us were only having toast!) only for us to have to chase again. An hour had gone by and we still had no breakfast (every other table had come and gone by then. After chasing a second time, he brought out one cooked breakfast (with the wrong eggs) and an omelette (the other order was for poached eggs on toast), oh and then the toast! We explained this was wrong so he blamed the kitchen again and then said he’d get them to make poached eggs but we said we’d rather not have rushed poached eggs (and to be honest it had been over an hour, we had to get off). There was an almighty row going on between him and the kitchen (I imagine the order simply hadn’t made it and then he’d guessed). We were gutted, it had been such a lovely stay with two fabulous meals and great service and it ended like that. We were told that a guest had a flat battery and they were trying to help out with that, but to me there’s no excitement for that level of service in a breakfast room where only 5 tables have taken breakfast. When I checked out he apologised it did not make eye contact. I really wanted to be writing a positive review and like I said the majority of the stay was super, to the point we’d discussed returning g. However that wouldn’t happen now, which is a shame.

Looking at previous reviews of this hotel, I can only think that our experience here was an unusual one but we were quite disappointed with our stay. Our room (3) was tiny (in hindsight we should have booked a more expensive one), and was uncomfortably small for two people with nowhere to put bags down or hang up clothes apart from a few hangers on coat hooks. The lighting was poor and it had a very rattly industrial fire door into the bathroom, which seemed amusing at first, but wasn’t quite so funny in the middle of the night when it clanged shut if you let it go! In fairness, other rooms on the websight looked gorgeous, I wish we’d booked one of those! Not the hotel’s fault, we just expected our room to be better for the price. Also disappointing was that the food on both nights was below average with limited menu choice and lots of dishes being unavailable.. This was a shame because it was my birthday ‘treat’ but fell far short of what we expected from a so called ‘luxury’ hotel. I can only think they were having a couple of off days and we were just unlucky. On a positive note, it’s a very eclectic place, decor is rustic, bordering on scruffy but still interesting, the staff are very friendly and the bar and restaurant have a warm and welcoming atmosphere, but when we were there the poor staff were run off their feet which resulted in patchy service and difficulty reserving a table, However, despite the problems the staff were very nice people especially the bar manager who tried her best to make up for the various menu shortfalls and discounted our drinks and food bill as an apology, which we very much aporeciated, but sadly I still don’t look back on our stay and feel that it was all that great, not really as special as we hoped it would be given all the hype. Based on our experience I wouldn’t recommend it or go again.

Wir haben in diesen Hotels in Amerika geblieben und waren froh, sie jetzt im Vereinigten Königreich zur Verfügung zu sehen. Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig, mit moderner Dekoration. Das Zimmer war extrem sauber und das Bett komfortabel. Klimaanlage, großes TV und Kessel, plus angemessene Lager-/Wadenschrankraum. Es gibt eine handliche Telefon-App, die zur Organisation der Vorabkontrolle und für die Bestellung zusätzliche Handtücher und Bettwäsche verwendet werden kann. Ich konnte auch das Chat-Funktionen nutzen, vor der Ankunft mit dem Hotelpersonal zu sprechen. Es gibt das schöne Funktion, einen blauen Zahnraumschlüssel zu ermöglichen, obwohl ich nicht in der Lage, das auf meinem iPhone zu arbeiten. Das Fitnesscenter ist gut ausgestattet und das Personal sehr hilfreich. Wenn Sie in Zukunft Hotels buchen, wird der Marriott Courtyard meine Marke sein.

This is 2nd time we stayed in this trip. The aircond noise non stop and we feed back the 1st time when we were there. But I guess they can’t do anything … if you are light sleeper. Stay away 😀😪

Leider gibt es bis 8 Uhr kein Frühstück verfügbar. Für einen Geschäftsmann ist dies in der Praxis. Die Online-Chat-Funktion ist nicht wie angekündigt verfügbar. Die angekündigte Telefonnummer funktionierte nicht. Nicht eine große Erfahrung, sondern das Zimmer war hervorragend. Eine verpasste Chance
