Hacienda Santa Cristina

Hacienda Santa Cristina is a beautiful property. When you first enter the town, you would never expect such a stunning place to be situated within. Upon entering the property, you feel like you just arrived at a private estate. There are various fruit and vegetable gardens, and multiple buildings all designed with an old-style South American charm. There is also an enticing horse corral where you can arrange a horseback ride. The property is quite large and is immaculate throughout. The rooms are situated overlooking tranquil gardens and an appealing main pool area. There is a second pool, as well as a hot tub, on the property that is near the rooms, which is very convenient. Both are well set up with chairs and are very clean, and offer food and drink services. There is a huge restaurant which adjoins the main pool where you can also dine throughout the day. In my opinion, everything written regarding this property, almost all positive, does not fully capture just how wonderful this place really is. The owners really take pride in their property and it really shows. Everything is clean and the lush gardens are groomed to perfection. The rooms are spotless and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also spotless. Each room has its own porch with a table and chairs. There are several vineyards within walking distance, surrounded by rolling hills, that overlook the property. The breakfast offered by the property is excellent and can be served to you right in your room if you prefer. This was a nice option as we ate it on our porch each morning. The dinners and lunches were very tasty and well presented. The food was high-quality. The staff was amazing in all aspects. Every single person we encountered that worked at the property would greet you with a warm smile and was willing to help you with anything you needed. I cannot say enough about how good and how professional these people were. They are obviously well-trained and it shows. Lastly, I want to mention the owner, Juan Pablo. He greeted us the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He was there for us the entire time and gave us many suggestions to explore Chile on the rest of our trip. All his suggestions were spot on. He could not have been nicer. I would stay here again if the opportunity arises. Just book your room and don’t worry about a thing. Juan Pablo and his professionally trained staff will take care of the rest!

Un lugar maravilloso en la región de Coquimbo, antes de llegar a Ovalle se encuentra este lugar increíble, excelente comida y un ambiente espectacular. Especialmente adaptado para viajes familiares y de amigos y también para pasar una buena tarde.

Por lejos uno de los mejores lugares donde hemos estado como familia. El servicio y la cocina excepcionales. Fuimos con 2 niños de 2 y 1 año, se preocuparon de tenernos agua caliente en la habitación para ellos! El lugar tiene varias actividades, es literalmente un oasis en Santa Cristina. 100% recomendable, nosotros volveremos si o si.
