Maison d'hôtes Tigminou - Adults Only

Johanna the owner is very friendly and helpfull, you can ask here anything and it seems that she can be anywhere at any time to help you or ask you if everything is ok, just very welcoming and hartwarming. The little houses are build out of clay so they stay cool when its hot and warm when its could outside, combined with a compfy bed and a big room perfect for a few day stay. And if its too hot, there is a nice pool area to chill. Besides that she makes a very good Gin Tonic and the brekfast was great.

A beautiful little oasis! Johanna and her staff were very nice and helpful. The bungalows were beautiful decorated and the surrounding landscape amazing. Johanna was great suggesting activities in the local area. We had dinner at the restaurant in the evening as well and the food was delicious. Would definitely come back to this place again.

5 stars don’t do this place justice! From the road, it looks less interesting, but once through the gates there is a little haven of calm. Attractive gardens, and a number of small one storey buildings each housing a couple of rooms. The room we had was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Mint tea and home made biscuits on arrival, and a delightful reception from Joanna originating from France, but we noticed her speaking excellent English to some Dutch guests. She made some helpful suggestions to them about accessing Ait Benhaddou, and also to us in driving through the remote Amazigh/Berber villages on our way to the Tiz n’Tichka pass. An unmissable beautiful drive. We had arranged for half board, and the evening meal was exceptionally good, as was the red wine we “forced” down. We would return at the drop of a hat, but only if she can guarantee to serve her husband’s outstanding lemon meringue tart!

A gem near Ourzazate. The lodges are beautifully decorated in a Berber style. You immediately feel at home. You can drink tea or read under the Berber tent and a little further away the swimming pool offers you the opportunity to relax. The owner Joanne is great. The kitchen is delicious (Joanne's husband takes care of that). We were there during the earthquake in September, but we were treated very well. We were therefore able to continue our itinerary.

Un endroit impeccablement entretenu, avec de charmantes petites maisons en pisé qui ajoutent au cadre authentique. L'accueil est professionnel. Cependant, la restauration ne correspond pas tout à fait aux promesses faites, et un des autres restaurants recommandés n'a malheureusement pas été à la hauteur de nos attentes avec le pire couscous que nous ayons connu.

Une fois le portail passé, un paradis s'ouvre à vous. Des chambres dans un jolie jardin, au calme tenues par Johana et son mari, qui parle Français et bien d'autre Langue. Une magnifique piscine ou "yaya" vous servira avec son beau sourire. Vous pourrez profiter de Bongo, l'âne de la propriété. Un repas d'arrivé excellent, et un petit déjeuner exceptionnel. Une Johana exceptionnelle qui vous donne des itinéraires, des adresses de restaurants ou vous ne rentriez pas de vous même, mais une fois la porte passée, vous vous régalerez par la cuisine mais aussi par la gentillesse des gens qui vous accueillent. Johana est plus que adorable et se pliera en 10 pour organiser votre journée et à surtout de bons conseils. Johana et son mari sont accompagné d'une équipe formidable. Un endroit à ne pas rater.
