Sehr schöne Lage mit weitem Blick über das Meer. Ansprechende, moderne Architektur mit kykladischen Akzenten. Hotelleitung und -personal sehr freundlich, nett und hilfsbereit. Apartement mit großem Meerblick-Balkon, modernes Bad mit offener Dusche. Alles sehr gefällig gestaltet. Bequeme Betten, Sauberkeit tadellos. Reichhaltiges Frühstück (Buffet) und auf Wunsch qualitativ hochwertiges Abendessen weit jenseits des üblichen Souvlaki-Einerleis. Organisierter Strand direkt am Hotel mit Strandbar („Lala Louza“) und damit Beschallung, was man mögen muss. Liegenset für € 8,--. Hundert Meter weiter in der selben Bucht ein weiterer Strandabschnitt mit Liegen, aber ohne Bar und damit ruhig. Meer sauber, nur Seegrasreste am Boden. Feiner Sand, Wasser bis weit hinaus flach, also gut für Kinder. Besser gefallen hat uns aber der Strand von Laouti, mehr Richtung Tinos/Ort gelegen, ausgeschildert. Gehört zu einem Hotel, ist aber öffentlich. Snackbar mit sehr dezenter Beschallung, Duschen, Umkleide, große Tamarisken und Schirme als Schattenspender. Set hier auch € 8,--. Ein Ausflug nach Pyrgos und event. weiter nach Panormos (Mietwagen wurde uns zum Hotel gebracht und wieder abgeholt, € 35,--/Tag) lohnt sich – ansonsten ist die Insel sehr karg. Tinos selbst ist eine typische Hafenstadt – laut und quirlig am Hafen, dahinter reines Wohn- und Arbeitsgebiet.

Hotel ungefähr 10 Minuten vom Hafen entfernt, sehr ruhige Lage, 2 Minuten von einem Sandstrand entfernt (Top für kleinere Kinder). Von der Terrasse aus sieht man die Inseln Delos und Mykonos. Tolle Unterstützung beim Planen von Ausflügen durch die Besitzer-Familie. Zimmer sehr schön (hatten Zimmer 40 mit einem tollen Balkon) und sehr sauber. Leider kein Pool vorhanden, aber das Meer ist gerade vor dem Hotel, Haltestelle für den Bus 100m entfernt. Wichtig: Für Ausflüge auf der doch grossen Insel benötigt man zwingend ein Auto.

Ich kann der Bewertung von Claudia nichts mehr hinzufügen!! Wir waren etwa zeitgleich im Hotel und es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Eine Frühstücksterrasse mit Traum-Blick auf Mykonos und Umgebung. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

The hotel is immaculately maintained and beautifully clean. The owners were helpful, friendly and quick to respond to emails when we booked directly. The views over the sea are fabulous. We went at the very end of the season so the hotel restaurant was closed, which was disappointing as we did not know that in advance. But owner Iulianos gave us good advice on where to eat nearby. At this time of the year, it was peaceful and relaxing. The swimming pool is more like a very big spa pool and nowhere near as big as it looks in the photos but the nearby beaches were great.

A beautiful boutique style family run hotel. We stayed in a 2 story apartment which had stunning views. We ate here every evening as the food was so delicious, sevice was perfect and the setting is stunning. The business was started by mum and dad and now the 2 sons run the place, with Mum still helping the chef to cook delicious Greek dishes! I am gluten intolerant and was catered for easily. There is a small pool area, but we walked to a local beach a 5/10minute walk away, which had lovely sunbeds. The bus can be taken from just outside the hotel.

Excellent short stay for 3 nights as part of an island hopping holiday. The brothers who run the hotel are friendly, want to ensure that you enjoy your stay. The rooms are well furnished and very clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent, home cooked with something for everyone. We ate evening meals at the hotel as the food was so good, we didn't feel the need to go 10mins drive back into town. Easy to see why this hotel gets a 5 star review.

Absolutely gorgeous - accommodation - a maisonette - was spacious clean abd well stocked. Family run and Close to the beaches and a few local eateries. Although we didn’t venture far as the food was so good in the hotel . Breakfast included home made preserves and local pastries. The dinner menu was amazing - a range of salads freshly grilled meat and fish and daily specials - again local produce and beautifully prepared. Views across to Mykonos - a perfect place to see the sunrise . Would thoroughly recommend as a place to relax and enjoy the peace.

We used this hotel for 6 nights on our island hopping adventure and would not hesitate to stay here again, preferably for longer next time as enjoyed it that much. This is a top quality family run establishment and everyone works so hard to ensure that the guest has a fantastic stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean, modern and a real testament to the family. We had a deluxe room (47) that came with balcony and a perfect view across the sea to the over populated and expensive island of Mykonos, we watched the cruise ships come and go daily and wondered why people want to go to Mykonos when Tinos is far better and quieter. The room was fantastic, the air con worked perfectly and the small kitchen was there if we needed it. There is a small plunge pool available at the hotel with sun beds but there a couple of beaches nearby. The better beach (less seaweed) is around the corner (10 mins walk) and sun bed set only 12 euro for the day at the Akti hotel. Breakfast at this hotel (Porto Raphael) was delicious and plenty of choice (omelette, mini quiche, orange juice, yogurt and the fantastic homemade rice pudding), we also ate dinner here twice and on both occasions was delicious. Big thank you to the family for a great stay and would not hesitate to book again for 2025 and recommend this hotel to others.

During our recent two-week visit to Greece, we spent three nights at Porto Raphael on Tinos. This is a beautiful apartment and hotel complex overlooking Agios Ioannis beach. The hotel is run by brothers Isidouris (sp) and Ioulianos. Their mother does the cooking. The stay was awesome, and the food was so good, we ate there every night. But it was not the food or the location, or the facilities that made this hotel stand out; it was the people. Isidouris and Ioulianos were so warm and welcoming they are the embodiment of the Greek word φιλότιμο (philotimo) which in itself defies definition. They want everyone to enjoy their beautiful island, and they treat every guest like family. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes outside of Tinos Town. If you do not rent a car, there is a bus stop literally at the bottom of the hill outside the hotel. There is also reliable taxi service available. Isidouris highly recommends renting a car, as there is so much to see on the island. Neither my wife nor I feel confident enough to drive on a Greek island and we surely missed out on one of the best parts of our trip.
