The location is truly impressive, situated on the banks of the betwa river, and the river is easily accessible by a short walk, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings. However, while the riverside location is perfect for relaxation, it poses a bit of an inconvenience for those who wish to visit orchha’s historical monuments, which are about 2 km away and not accessible by foot. Having your own transportation would be ideal to explore these attractions with ease. One area for improvement would be room allocation. Even though we arrived early, we were given a cottage without a direct river view. It would be more considerate if the reception allocated river-facing rooms on a first-come, first-served basis, to enhance the experience for guests arriving early who may expect a direct view of the river. And we booked room as a couple but we were not allotted double bed configuration but they provided two single beds joined together. The rooms themselves are well-kept, but the room service could use improvement. During my stay in a riverside cottage, i had to call the reception multiple times to replace a faulty electric kettle, and it was only resolved when i went to the reception myself and waited for 15 minutes. Additionally, the distance from the riverside cottages to the reception is considerable, making it less convenient for guests when issues arise. The hotel charges a premium price, but they should consider increasing the staff to better meet guest demands, especially in riverside cottages, where attention to service is essential. The pool’s location also compromises privacy, as it’s exposed to views even from outside visitors. Moreover, a large number of outside visitors due to wedding events affected the peaceful environment we had hoped for, which was disappointing. Overall, the hotel offers a beautiful and unique stay with excellent surroundings and ambiance, though it would benefit from improved room service, a fairer room allocation system, and more attention to privacy. For those planning to stay in the riverside cottages, i’d recommend confirming details about any events during your visit to ensure a peaceful stay.

Location - excellent, food-excellent. . Amenities -rooms no-201 and204. Stayed three days. 1-main door locks were not working properly and i noticed other guest door of buddha block were fighting with the doors. 2-rooms were not ready properly, you have to ask for sleeper, bath room mat, dental kit etc. 3-lights were fleekering. 4-room allotted without checking the condition, in room no 204, the bathroom water was coming out in the room. Food- excellent food and service. Except these things, rest all the things were superb.

Die Lage dieser Unterkunft war großartig, es war nahe Ram Rara Mandir, das Herz der Nachbarschaften ist. Wir mögen den Aufenthalt nicht nur wegen der gemütlichen Zimmer auch für gute Leute im Besitz, der Onkel war sehr ödlich und süß, er half uns auf jeden Fall möglich, ohne auch etwas zu fragen. Wir bestellten Frühstück und Chai und es war sehr heimlich. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel jedem, der Orcha besucht.
