Currently half way through an 11 night stay with family and honestly can’t fault it here. I paid extra to have a sea view room and definitely worth it (photo below). Our room looks out over the pools and gardens. Great view from the balcony for the firework display on a Thursday night, which was like a firework display standard back home. Amazing!! Our room was spotlessly cleaned daily with fresh towels by the time we had returned from breakfast. All areas of the hotel and pool are kept very clean from what I’ve seen. I do get up to put the towels down but most hotels are like that. Breakfast - cereals, lots of different bread, biscuits, continental, cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurts, decent coffee, variety of teas, juices, etc. All nicely presented and fresh. Lunch and dinner - two choices of soup, bread, pasta, pizza, fresh fish, meats, salads, cheeses, vegetables, rice, risotto, etc. Selection of cakes, fruit, yoghurts and ice cream for dessert. Nothing negative to say about the food, it’s been lovely. Decent wine and beer on tap too. If you like junk food then this isn’t the place for you I’m afraid. Not a chip or chicken nugget in sight thankfully! Good bar service with plenty of staff. There’s a coffee bar and snack bar, which does have chips available I believe. My 12 year old is in his element here with all the sports included. At least 12 quality clay tennis courts, eight table tennis tables, pedalos, kayaks, bikes, etc. We have taken full advantage of booking all this easily next to reception desk. The immediate area literally right outside hotel is great. All the sports on your doorstep, bars, restaurants and shops. Area is fairly quiet during the day. Does get busier in the evening. We’ve done a day trip to Slovenia (Lake Bled) which was absolutely stunning. Been on a BBQ boat trip to Rovinj which was a lovely old town with cobbled streets, harbour, lots of restaurants, etc. Day trip to Venice later in the week. We’ve used the bikes to ride into Porec which wasn’t far. It’s lovely there and worth a visit. It’s easy to get the little train into Porec for 4 euros each. You can also get a taxi or water taxi easily. It’s reasonably priced to eat/drink out everywhere we’ve been so far. Nice little bar across the road called Beach Volley I think. Great service and prices. The staff work really hard here to keep the place nice for the guests. We are having a lovely time and would definitely recommend. For the price we paid to come here I think it’s more than worth it.

NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL - very misleading. All the negative reviews are spot on. I would have to question the good reviews in that are they real reviews or, a company being paid to write good ones. No Tui reps on site, if you need to contact them you do it by email. This hotel has 95% German guests. RECEPTION Reception staff were the worst we have ever come across and we've been all over the world. Extremely unfriendly, unless you are German. My husband enquired if our room was ready having been there since 10am and told to go away until 3pm. It was now 3.20pm and the reception manager, whom we watched serving guests, tapped her watch and said ”my shift has ended, one of the other staff will see you”, then she walked off. Very rude. There is nothing to do here unless you want to go biking, hiking or see the dolphins. There is no town nearby, only one small supermarket, two bakeries, a small clothes shop and a tiny jewellers. There are a few bars open, but the majority are closed now. THE ROOM. Is a good size. The air con does not work. The fridge is very hot on the outside and does not keep drinks cold at all. The hair dryer is dangerous as it gets so hot you cannot hold it. We can hear every word being said next door. The shower is halfway up the bath facing across so water goes everywhere. The shower head falls off all the time and the bath is very high to climb into. TV only has 3 English news channels and 2 entertainment channels. Two beds put together and you have a small cover on each, not one big one. No kettle in the room for tea/coffee making. RESTAURANT Staff very miserable and rude which other reviewers have also said. Food/ drinks dropped on the floor and not picked up or swept up for the hour we were eating, so anyone could have slipped over and injured themselves. Food just about okay, but definitely not 4 star. Not a great deal of choice. HOTEL ACCESS There are steps and steep sloping roads everywhere, which you have to use to get from your room to the restaurant and pool. No good for disabled people at all, as ALL the rooms are on a very steep hill. Had we had a choice we would have gone home the day after we arrived. To the hotel. Please don't bother answering my review, as I've read all your replies to other reviews.

The hotel has a great location. There is a medium sized pool, sunbeds (there could be more of them but there's no room) and umbrellas and a few big beds for the whole family to lay on. You have to be quick to get them though they go fast. The staff is wonderful, very nice and attentive. Food was surprisingly good and tasty, lots of varieties and me being a vegetarian and not eating gluten, I was so surprised that every morning they provided fresh gluten free bread, various plant based milks as well. At dinner I got gluten free and vegan desert brought to me to our table every evening which I thought was very special, since I didn't even ask for it. On our first day our room was not ready and clean for us which we told the reception and the cleaning lady came and generally cleaned it quickly. She forgot to bring fresh linen for our daughter's couch and we had to ask for it 4 times but we quickly forgot about that. The bedroom was seperate from the living room which we liked a lot since our 8 year old was with us and we had some privacy when needed. We had a small balcony you could enter from the bedroom and the little living room. There could be a small fridge in the living room, we missed it... The hotel is not so modern but extremely clean. The bathroom needs a renovation but was very clean every day. We had an issue with the ac, it didn't work properly and we told the reception and they fixed it the next day. The surroundings are very well maintained and the tall palm trees give this place a very vacation like feeling. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel because it had a lot of value for the price we payed. Entertainment was available every day, for adults and kids, on the beach kids had their disco, we even watched a kids movie on the big screen. A store is a few steps away down the stairs. We didn't mind the stairs at all since we were so lazy and this little bit of exercise was very welcome. A few restaurants, shops for souvenirs within a few minutes walk... At this point we would like to thank the hotel for our wonderful stay!
