The hotel is very elegant and comfortable. It offers a wonderful personal attention. Sr. Carlos was there to help us with every single detail for our tours, restaurant experiences and city life during seven days. Breakfast was great!! Our table attendant, Betty, was very attentive and helpful too. It has been a great choice to stay at your place.

Palacio Borghese is a really charming small hotel very centrally located in Oaxaca. It was literally only a few blocks from everything you'd want to do in the city. Their sound proofing is also incredibly impressive - the night we came in there were some places close by playing very loud music, but we couldn't hear it at all once the windows were closed. The beds are so comfortable that my husband didn't snore the whole week! The staff is kind and helpful, especially Carlos. The space is beautiful and really feels like a little oasis for you to come home to.

Incredible location, spotlessly clean, wonderful and solicitous staff…a fabulous place. The interior, open sitting area is quiet and tastefully decorated. We’d recommend this boutique hotel for adults seeking a sophisticated vacation spot.

For the price of the hotel, it's unfortunate that it did not do a better job sound proofing. There was an extremely loud party/DJ on a Tuesday playing music well into the night on a rooftop across from the hotel. It felt like the people and music were in the room with us. Despite being offered earplugs, we did not get any sleep. Until the hotel fixes the sound proofing I cant offer a higher score.

Beautiful hotel in city center. Top hospitality. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Nice comfortable room and bathroom. Breakfast was delicious! The cathedral and markets are all within 5-15 min walking. Great location. Would stay again

I loved the Borghese. The location was terrific, just a few blocks from Santo Domingo church. My room ("Firenze") was spacious and comfortable. The staff members, especially Carlos, constantly checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. When I had an early start one morning, Carlos gave me some pastries to go. FYI, there is an impressive gym, Calipso, directly opposite the property. I enjoyed several restaurants within easy walking distance, including Casa Oaxaca and El Destilado. Sabina Sabe is a cool mezcal bar, and Quinta Real hosts an entertaining Galaguetza on Fridays that features folk singing and dancing.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Palacio Borghese and absolutely loved it. Just two blocks from the Templo de Santo Domingo de Guzmán, it was the perfect base for exploring the city of Oaxaca on foot. The hotel and the room were beautifully decorated, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel at home during our stay. The continental breakfast and evening tea service were both lovely. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return!

Very nice hotel close to everything. Room was huge, comfortable, and clean. My room faced the street, and went during the Guelaguetza, so Oaxaca City was busy. There is a rooftop bar across the street, had a live band one night. None of this bothered me, since I can sleep through anything. The staff was Great! Very attentive, always making sure everything was going well. I ate at a restaurant one day, and ate the rest of the time, either at the Mercado’s or food stands that were around the corner from the Hotel. Breakfast was simple, but the fruit definitely was a great way to start. La Cosecha Organic Market which is about 10 minutes away walking, was a good breakfast place, with vegetarian options. Would stay at this hotel again, when visiting Oaxaca City!

Amazing hotel and staff . They doing everything possible to make your stay comfortable. Great continental breakfast with fruit , juice bread and marmalade and of course coffee. The bed in our room is one of the most comfortable beds I ever slept on I wished we could have taken it home. Our house keeper was a wonderful kind and hard working lady our room was always cleaned promptly and spotless. Daniel and Carlos at the front desk were absolutely the best they helped us so much with things to do and where to go. I had some issue with my leg I was in a boot and had lots of pain and Carlos suggested some lidocaine cream to use and Daniel went to the pharmacy and got me some it really helped a lot and made our trip much more enjoyable. Thank you both so much.
