Travelodge Norwich Central Hotel

The hotel was fine in most respects, but there was a major drawback. On the final day of my stay, the hotel was unable to look after my suitcase between the time when I checked out in the morning, and the time when I went to catch my train in the afternoon. I have stayed in many hotels at home and abroad, and I have never been in this situation before. The staff did suggest that a nearby newsagent's shop would offer this facility, but the last day of my stay was a Sunday, on which day the newsagent's was not open.

The location was perfect for us, arriving by coach. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. This is evidently an older Travelodge and could do with some refurbishment and deep cleaning in the rooms, but as a base for exploring the city, it was everything we needed. I usually sleep with a clip fan by my bed, couldn't plug mine in as there are only USB sockets beside the bed, but there was a fan in the room which was fine when I placed it on the chair at the end of the bed. Some issues with the key card not working a few times but staff were on hand to resolve the issue. We had paid for the breakfast but probably won't next time, it wasn't the best for me as a vegetarian, and I had to request a milk alternative for my daughter, she is allergic to milk. The only alternative available on request was oat milk, I was surprised by this as our local Travelodge has soy milk which is what she has at home. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and we're coming back in the summer :)

Outstanding customer service. Room very clean and adequate facilities. One of my party tv needed updating as poor sound. However probably due for upgrade as showing its age. Paula and Luke on reception need a mention for their professional approach and friendly manner

Stayed here for three nights … The hotel is in a very good location right next to bus station not far to walk into town … Check in was easy and quick … Staff were very friendly and the WiFi was very good also … Can’t really fault anything and will hopefully return soon :-)

Was in Norwich for a family funeral. Rooms were clean and comfortable, had the best night sleep, comfy beds.excellent location. Bus station is right behind travelodge great for getting out and about. Paula and harry on Reception were friendly and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Me and my partner stayed at Norwich Central on Friday, we were greeted by Cameron, who is very polite and helpful. There is construction work opposite the hotel, but the drilling stopped after 6 pm. The building itself is very old, but the room was basic but clean and comfortable. The two members of staff in the bar for breakfast were very good, and we had a lovely conversation with the manager Nalene on check out.
