We chose the Priest House hotel for a large family gathering and it was the perfect venue. Everyone found it easy to get to from different regions of England, and although it's close to the motorway and the airport, you really can't tell as you drive down the steep little lane past Donington Park. The hotel is at the end of the lane between the river Trent and a tributary, so it feels very rural and secluded. It has a real sense of history too, being so close to the old mill wheels that still sit on the riverside. The staff were always friendly and helpful while I was organising our event, and just as supportive and receptive to our needs on the day of the gathering. The Garden Suite where we held our meal and entertainment was perfect, with its own bar and little dancefloor and access to a private area of the gardens. The food and drink were good quality. Our bedroom was in the old cottages just across the lane so I don't know what rooms in the main building are like. Ours was a bit dated but had everything we needed. The main thing I would suggest it needs is some hooks / rails in the ensuite for towels and more sockets in the bedroom for charging phones etc - small things that so many hotel rooms could do with more of! The cottages are clearly old and small so noise does carry - if you're bothered about noise from other rooms the main building is perhaps more soundproof.

Brillante Hotel ist immer so nett zu bleiben. Easy to get to and as I work in transport it's ideal for me to stay near my workplaces. The staff are great and always welcome. The hotel is always clean. Ich habe nie ein Problem gehabt, wenn ich hier geblieben bin. 

Work away frequently and have stayed in loads of hotels the welcome from Georgia the Duty Manager was second to none probably the best I’ve experienced . Amazing ambassador for the company. Facilities and food was top notch. A great stay, great staff and an all round great hotel.

Handy Hotel für den Terminal. Ich konnte keine Flugzeuge von meinem Zimmer hören, die sauber und gemütlich war, obwohl ein wenig „gebraucht“ Es hat nicht von der Handvoll, so nah an den Terminal für einen frühen Flug abzuziehen. Niedrig Dusche und komfortable Bett. Kettle und Kaffeetaschen oder Teebeutel waren am Morgen das erste angenehm. Das Essen war ok, aber nicht viel Wahl (sign of the times vielleicht?) das Bier war aber nett! Das Personal war freundlich und hilfreich. Es war schön zu wissen, ob ein einsamer Reisende wie ich war.

Nice room, spacious with all usual fixtures and a comfortable bed. Good value for money. Bar and cooked food available. Plenty of parking (free). Good location if travelling. Ideal for the East Midlands airport and for nearby University of Nottingham Sutton Bonington campus.

I was away on a business contract and stayed at the Charnwood Arms Hotel for 2 months. A comfortable bed with en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The staff are fantastic and are always willing to help and make my stay as great as possible. The Hungry Horse pub attached to the hotel is the same with the staff. One couldn't ask for better treatment. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will miss the team. I was sad to have to leave when my contract ended. Thank you ALL. x

Er ging auf ein unverzügliches Geschäftstreffen mit Kollegen ein, fühlte sich wie wir tot waren und gingen zum Himmel. Mit wenig Erkenntnis wurde ein Treffensaal aufgestellt, Tee und Kaffee erschienen plötzlich, und bevor wir wussten, dass es ein fantastisches Mittagessen aufgestellt wurde. Nichts war zu viel Problem, wie selten ist, dass diese Tage? Absolut finden, wenn Sie eine Änderung von identikit körperliche Seele-sitzplätze brauchen.
