If you can find it, great location. Very basic lodging with small beds and thin concave mattresses. Noisy room by the ally but the room had high ceilings and was roomy. Dresser was treacherous-splintered and difficult to pull out and push in. It would be nice having milk for an coffee as many of us don’t drink it black. Towels were plentiful once the owner realized the shower was clogged and flooding the room. His staff was nice but inattentive or he would have known there was a shower issue as we told them not him. Location is excellent. Guests should be emailed where to park and how to find the entrance. Having no staff working after 10:00 pm can be problematic. Don’t lose your one key and hope there is no power outage. Remember to ask for water & soda as they kindly supply that to you.

We reserved two nights at the Royal Hotel in Nimes, France. On the day we checked-in, they charged my credit card for the two nights lodging, but I was not made aware of this. When we checked out, we were given a receipt for the two nights lodging, plus parking fee and tax, which was charged to my credit card. It wasn't until I saw my credit card statement that I realized they double charged for the two nights lodging. I sent them a couple emails about the double charges, but never received a response. Fortunately, my credit card company refunded me the extra charges, and said they would deal with the hotel about the charges. I never heard more about it. The hotel is in a nice location for seeing the sights in Nimes, and the room was fine. Our room overlooked the outdoor restaurant in front of the hotel, but we did not have any noise issues at night. We did not eat there, because they did not offer gluten-free meals, but there were other restaurants in town that did. There is a public underground parking garage with an elevator that come up the street next to the hotel. Over-all, a good stay except for the double charges on the credit card.

Der Eigentümer bietet Ihnen für jeden Kunden einen kleinen Kaffee, einen kleinen Wienerkaufsplatz. Er hat immer einen guten Rat oder ein freundliches Wort für seine Kunden, aber sehr diskret. Er hat mich sogar als in einem Restaurant serviert, Gerichte, die ich ihm gebeten hatte, zu erwärmen und die bei Monoprix, der in der Nähe ist, gekauft wurden. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, das Hotel ist gut gelegen und Sie werden es verstehen: am meisten ist die Aufnahme und Großzügigkeit des Eigentümers und des Personals. Super wirklich! Vielen Dank! PS: Eine erste Ankunft in der Jury war nicht möglich, dass die Lohnverhandlungen erfolgreich abgeschlossen werden konnten, aber wenn ich wieder durch Nîmes bin, würde ich mich nicht versäumen, noch einmal vorzubehalten.)

Small hotel in an old building in a small street. Garage parking if reserved in advance as limited. Street parking possible but may not be close My room was clean but as were other areas but there is a need for some repairs /renovation in places. Absolutely excellent staff, friendly, helpful, and chatty Very good breakfast though standard small hotel fare, there was good choice. I cannot eat gluten and they provided freshly baked bread from their local boulangerie - exceptional service. just a few minutes walk from the old centre Comfortable bed, ground floor room window on to street but very quiet
