Room has great view of Lake Chuzenji. Clean and Tidy. Dinner is very delicious especially the trout crusted with almond. The owner is very nice and kind.

Very straight lady owner. Only give one exact time for breakfast and dinner. No English nor putongha, only Japanese.

Love this small hotel, it's view is facing the lake. Location very near to the bus station . Room is clean bed is traditional bed, quite a big room. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a surprise 6 course fine dinning , breakfast was good too. Love the onsen after our hike . Will definitely recommend to our friends .

The hosts were friendly and the young female assistant was helpful and polite. Location is great, near to the well-known fall and the lake is in front of the residence. Private onsen facilities are great though they are not available in the morning. Foods provided are in Western style and they are good, but not that great. Guests are reminded to tell the hosts on how to cook the steak, especially if well-done is not their preference. No elevator but many steps means you have to have strong muscle to move the heavy buggages from the car to the room.

Very rigid owner to request exact time for breakfast and dinner, which is really unnecessary . Guest may eat slow or quick. Not for sake of guests convenient but her own convenient only. The two ********* ladies helping her is good. Could speak Englisnd and Mandarin.

We enjoyed very much staying at the pension. It was situated close to the bus station and with beautiful scenery of the lake. The host were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the dinner very much. It was a wonderful experience staying in the pension.

Staying here went really well with the vibe of visiting Nikko. It was cozy, quiet, and warm. We didn't expect that there would be so much food for the dinner and breakfast courses! It was delicious, and I liked that since the place only had a few people, it was almost an intimate experience. The private bath that automatically came with the stay was a refreshing way to end a whole day of walking around Nikko. I would gladly stay here again.
