Lokasi mmg sgt strategik if nak ronda2 kawasan Concubine Lane, Funtasy Trick, 22 Hale Street Museum, Platform Half, Gabriel Cafe, Pekan Lama Cafe dll. Just around the corner sahaja. Mike Pizza, Rojak Padang, Nasi Ayam Taugeh dan lain lain. Untuk mereka yg travel gunakan train n bus, sesuai sgt. If nak travel ke Tasik Cermin, Gunung Lang bagai, kena ada transport sendiri. The staff is friendly. Ada cerek letrik, tapi kena beli 3in1 kalau tgh malam rasa nak minum. Malam, mmg x der apa lah. Kalau nak g Gerbang Malam, boleh je jalan kaki dlm 27 mins kalau rasa larat la. But for my family, kami rela jalan kaki walau jauh. Dpt menikmati view malam yg kosong dan view siang yg menyesakkan. Kami stay at family room with double queen bed. Walau bilik sedikit sempit but still comfortable. Bukan nak duduk bilik sepanjang masa right? Bilik air luas sgt, boleh masuk la 5/6 orang dalam tu. Keadaan bau tu, bg kami ok je ala2 macam bau lama, bangunan lama. Especially kat lif. Dlm bilik x dak bau yg kurang menyenangkan. Selesa. Iron, disediakan depan lif. Yes, hotel ni ada lif. Bg yg x larat nak angkut beg beso naik turun tangga, jgn risau. Ada lif sedia tuk digunakan. Ada juga water dispenser kat dapur kalau malas nak masak air dlm bilik. Belakang bangunan ada medan selera. Pagi boleh la lapik perut sbelum gerak ronda tuk food hunting yg sebenar. Ada jam beso yg cukup time berbunyi. Nak jalan ke ets amik masa dlm 15-20 mins. Kalau dr stesen bas Jalan Bendahara, dalam 27 mins. We prefer berjalan je semua. Baru feel ala2 tourist di negara sendiri.

Plus : The Location is perfect, just short walk from Train / Railway Station inside the old town. The staf is good. The wifi is fast. Minus : The room is smelly and so small, the hot shower does not work.

Located conveniently near the clock tower. Short walk from train station to hotel and short walk to eateries and places of interest in Old Town. Best for visitors that are not driving. Hotel room is basic but adequate. No cupboards, no fridge. Our room with window opens to adjacent building wall, 1m away. Shower is ok but water is not hot.

My room was spacious and beautifully designed, with high-quality amenities. Near to Concubine Lane just 5-min walk.

Good location nearby ferry terminal. Staff is friendly and room is clean

The location is strategic, betul2 dekat tengah pekan Ipoh. Can walk about 5 mins to concubine lane and less than 30 mins to other attractions (uptown, tasik cermin & kek long temple) with car. No people at the counter after 10pm i think? However the hotel is not that soundproof, can hear people open/close the door, the sound of cars outside and music from the cafe across the street. Lighting bilik quite dull tp boleh bukak langsir. Klu nak iron ada dekat certain level. Overall okay 👍

Very near to the train station thus making it a good base to explore Ipoh. Situated in the old quarter. Very nice and clean. Book without doubt.

- No drinking water or water bottles provided in the room. But you can refill your empty bottles at their shared kitchen. - There are two nearby mini-marts where you can get mineral water and snacks (behind it and you can walk for 5 minutes to R.Jennyfer Convenience Store). - Only RM 108 when booked on TripDOTCom. - Additional hours are RM 5 each. - The receptionist is a sweet, cute, and beautiful Indian lady. - Plenty of power outlets at the working desk and next to the bed. - Check-in was easy, with no deposit required, and they didn't ask to photocopy my IC like other hotels. - The owner, a Chinese person, is very attentive and has provided Kiblat signs for Muslim guests. - Love the industrial concept. - Spacious, new, and clean bathroom with a ceiling shower head that feels like showering in the rain. - Fast WiFi.

It was sufficient, basic, decor was nice, location was good. Pillows smelled of greasy hair; towels smelled like someone’s cologne (I couldn’t be sure if it was the laundry liquid or room spray or if it literally was someone else’s cologne); if you’re not particularly picky it’s fine, but I think I’d pay more and stay somewhere where I’m more confident of the cleanliness next time

Brick Box Hotel is located in the heart of Ipoh old town. The location is excellent and many good restaurants / attractions nearby. The staff and the facility are satisfactory to ensure you will have a wonderful stay :)

Aircond is not working properly. Room is still not ready during check in time at 3pm. Noisy due to clock tower near by
