Club Wyndham Midtown 45

I was nervous about the time share people attacking at the elevators. I said no once and after that I was left alone. Room was clean but small for a two bedroom. Front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The price for parking is crazy but I knew this going in. After all it is NYC.

Wonderful staff and management. Great location! A quick walk to Grand Central Station and the Empire State Building. Many great food places nearby. Beds are comfortable. Nice large refrigerator. Microwave. Stovetop. Sink. Laundry on premises. Exercise room. Wonderful outdoor lounge on the 33rd floor. (Limited outdoor seating) Free drinks daily. Shower with tub. Bus line nearby. A great bus to catch is the M101 or M102 on 5th Ave or Madison. It will take you to Central Park and down south on 5th Avenue to Rockefeller and the Flat Iron Building. Times Square is a decent walk away, but if you are not inclined to walk, hop on a bus. All you need for transportation is a contactless credit card to tap as you get on the bus. Use the same card for every bus and subway ride. It caps out at $34.00 in 7 days, travel is free after $34 used. I would definitely stay here again. However, NEVER EVER, EVER agree to sit in a timeshare meeting. ANYTHING free they offer you is NOT worth it!!! Seriously, take my advice. Pushy and rude sales people will make you feel stupid for not buying their timeshare. They will ask you how you spend your vacation dollars and try to convince you that it’s better to buy a $50,000+ timeshare mortgage (with interest) and no way to resell it easily than for you to spend $80,000+ in ten years on your own AirBnBs. Then when your 60-90 minute presentation time is up, they will hijack you trying to hold you hostage until they either convince you to buy or make you so mad. You practically have to cause a scene to leave. Heaven forbid you try to leave even 5 minutes early. Most unethical salespeople in the world, or close to it.

We had a very disappointing experience at Club Wyndham Midtown 45 and would not recommend staying here. We arrived at the hotel around 12 pm, knowing we were a bit early for check-in, but we expected that they could at least hold our bags and give us a reasonable estimate for when our room would be ready. When we asked about check-in, the staff said it would only be “a couple hours.” We came back at 3 pm, and they repeated the same vague response. This happened yet again at 3:30 pm. It’s now 4 pm, which is a standard check-in time, yet we’re still getting no clear answers besides the generic “soon.” The staff showed a complete lack of time management and had no sense of urgency or organization. The communication was poor and unhelpful, leaving us in the dark without any genuine updates. We also noticed a lack of concern for customer service overall, which made the experience all the more frustrating. This hotel clearly needs better processes for handling check-ins and guest communication, especially when it comes to managing guests’ expectations.

Club Wyndham Midtown 45 is a gem in New York City! I’ve had the pleasure of staying in a variety of accommodations here, from standard hotel rooms to studios, and even one-bedroom Presidential suites, and each stay has exceeded my expectations. Here are a few reasons why I highly recommend it: 1. Prime Location: The hotel is perfectly situated, just a 15-minute walk from Times Square and close to countless iconic Manhattan attractions. It’s ideal for anyone wanting to explore the city without long commutes. 2. Spacious and Comfortable Rooms: Regardless of the type of room, each space is beautifully maintained and offers a cozy yet modern feel. The one-bedroom Presidential suite, in particular, is luxurious and perfect for longer stays or special occasions. 3. Excellent Amenities: Club Wyndham Midtown 45 goes above and beyond with amenities, offering everything from a relaxing lounge area to fitness facilities. The views from the rooftop lounge are an added bonus! 4. Friendly and Professional Staff: The staff here is warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything you might need. Their professionalism truly enhances the stay. 5. Easy Access to Great Dining: The hotel is surrounded by fantastic dining options, but I especially recommend Virgil’s BBQ and Crab House for an outstanding meal. It’s a great spot to unwind and enjoy some comfort food after a day of sightseeing. 6. Feels Like a Second Home: Club Wyndham Midtown 45 strikes a great balance between hotel and home. It’s a fantastic choice for both short visits and extended stays. This resort is truly a fantastic find in the heart of NYC. Highly recommend!

Do not book this hotel if you are a single female or book through a 3rd party. I booked a 5 night stay 2 months in advance and when I turned up Wyndham had cancelled my booking. I was a lone female thousands of miles away from home and they cancelled my booking hours before I got to the hotel, while I was mid air and I knew nothing about it. The staff let me use the phone to try and resolve it but did little to help as they clearly just wanted me out of their small reception. I was left alone to fend for myself. I have heard of hotels over booking and walking you to another hotel but this was just cancelled and we will do nothing. I have never seen such awful customer service. I have contacted them since and received zero support, hence this review. I have booked with Wyndham for years and travel regularly but have never come across this before, it goes without saying I will never book with this brand again

Love this resort great location nice staff strong drinks it’s a few blocks up from time square roof top is very romantic
