Als erstes sind ausser ein paar Bedienstete sehr unfreundlich. Man fühlt sich nicht willkommen. Das einzig positive ist die Lage und eine gute Matratze. Die Zimmer sind zwar sauber aber aufgebraucht. Zimmerservice ist auch keiner vorhanden!!!! Am ersten Tag stehen 2 Flaschen Wasser und Kaffeepulver zur Verfügung, die nächsten 11Tage holt man sich alles im Supermarkt, weil nichts nachgefüllt wird. Das Essen ist eintönig, wenig Auswahl und aufs Minimum beschränkt. Service ist ausser abräumen keiner gegeben. Aussenterrasse muss sich selber bedienen mit Besteck usw.. Die Sonnenterrasse hat nicht einmal Schirme. Also entweder 8 Stunden in der Sonne braten oder einen Schirm kaufen und an den Strand gehen. Auch da keine Liegen oder Schirme. Der Pool ist eher Planschbecken wie Pool. Poolbar fehlanzeige. Nur ein Saftbehälter, Wasserbehälter, Kaffeeautomat und Bierzapfanlage. Ist irgendwas leer, muss man dem Personal hinterher laufen. Von alleine passiert nichts. Habe AI gebucht und muss mich selber um alles kümmern und auch noch alles selber kaufen und bezahlen, sorry !!! Wofür habe ich eigentlich bezahlt???? Das ist das schlechteste Hotel was ich jemals hatte. Für etliche Euronen weniger hätte in einem 3Sterne Hotel besseren Service bekommen. Bevor die Leitung mir jetzt hierauf antwortet, dass sie alles verbessern werden, lesen sie die Bewertungen von 2018 an!!!!!! Es ist bis heute nichts geändert. TUI ist auch zur Ramschfirma geworden, wenn sie sowas anbieten. Für mich jedenfalls ist dieses Hotel, inklusive TUI tabu. Überteuerte Angebote für schlechte Leistungen!!!!!! Nein Danke

Der Service ist toll und gibt sich sehr große Mühe allen wünschen mach zu kommen. Mit der richtigen Kommunikation sind auch die Cocktails deutlich besser. Es gibt tolles essen, Livemusik, tollen Blick aufs Meer, es ist strandnah. Ich habe schon bessere 4 Sterne Hotels gesehen, aber auch deutlich schlechtere. Es ist immer eine subjektive einstellung. Wir sind in Bulgarien. Der Fisch ist toll. die Auswahl an Essen völlig ausreichend und es gibt Themenabende. An der ein oder anderen Stelle könnte renoviert werden, aber solche Ecken kann man überall in fast jedem hotel finden, wenn man das möchte. Das Personal spricht gut englisch. Die Menschen sind toll und such hier gilt, wie man in den Wald hineinruft, so schallt es heraus.

- Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, aber der erste Fehler taucht in der Beschreibung des Hotels auf, es ist gekennzeichnet, dass es nur für Erwachsene ist, was sehr weit von der Wahrheit entfernt ist, da viele Kinder im Hotel sind, beide Kleinkinder und älter. - Nachdem wir nach 21 Uhr im Hotel ankamen, bekamen wir nichts zu essen. - Der ganze Aufenthalt war nicht schlecht, obwohl wir uns bewusst waren, dass wir nachts um 1.35 Uhr abreisen wollten, wollten wir die ganze Woche extra bezahlen, um unseren Aufenthalt um einen Tag zu verlängern, weil wir um 12 Uhr auschecken mussten, was sich ergibt fast 12 Stunden auf Koffern. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass die Reservierung erst am Freitag möglich sein wird und Sie sich am Freitag melden müssen. Am Freitag wurde uns gesagt, dass es keine Zimmer mehr gibt und wir für 12 Stunden irgendwo hin müssen. Am Freitag wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir, obwohl wir das Zimmer verlassen mussten, normal zu Abend essen konnten. Beim Auschecken am Samstag wurden uns jedoch unsere Armbänder weggenommen und uns wurde gesagt, dass wir, wenn wir zu Abend essen wollten, 25 Lev pro Person bezahlen müssten. Leute, die mit uns gingen, aßen jedoch normalerweise zu Abend, weil eine andere Person sie auscheckte und sie fällig waren. Es hängt alles von den Leuten ab, die an der Rezeption stehen, wie oft eine Person fragt, es gibt keine Geschichte oder ein gemeinsames Schema. Der Aufenthalt war gut, aber das Ende hat den Eindruck so sehr getrübt, dass es leider keine guten Meinungen verdient. Schlechte Organisation sowohl im Büro als auch im Hotel. Ich verstehe, dass ich 2-4 Stunden auf den Transfer gewartet habe, aber nicht 12. Auch ohne Essen oder Trinken. Leider löscht ein schlechtes Ende gute Erinnerungen aus, weil man am Ende nervös wird

Amazing views. The food was good and staff friendly. Rooms comfortable providing a good night's sleep. Only downside that spoilt it a little for us, is that there were no designated smoking areas. This meant that guests smoked in all communal areas apart from the restaurant. As non smokers, this made it unpleasant at times, often having to try and find somewhere to sit or sunbath without the smell of smoke

Just back from this wonderful hotel. The location is perfect. A short walk to Old Nessebar. The rooms were big and we had a side sea view. Seeing two sides to the black sea. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. Good choices at every meal time. The snacks available inbetween were good too! We loved the two bars especially the sky bar up on the roof. The pool was lovely too on the roof. You are allowed to experience the al a carte evening. That was amazing! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Currently staying here for 6 nights with my mum (in her 70s). We arrived having missed lunch by about 15 mins, we'd been up since 3:45 that morning so we're a little hungry. Don't worry! The Lobby bar has pizza, wedges, salad, ice cream and coffee so you can help yourself. We had a side sea view, so we're away from both roads at front and back. To be honest these are really quiet anyway. Air con, pillows and extra pillows in the wardrobe. Plenty of hangers and hanging space in the wardrobe for 2. The room is impeccably cleaned every day and coffee refilled. The pool bar and the all-inclusive cocktails are excellent, I'm not really a drinker, can't say the same for mum! The bar staff are really attentive and friendly. There are lots of comments about the food. We honestly have no complaints. Breakfast is amazing (pancakes, Nutella and cherries for the last two days!). The best meal by far was the Terrace Restaurant a la carte experience. Mum and I dined last night, 7 courses of fabulous service. The head chef is great, try the iced soup, very refreshing. Everything looked fantastic, and watching sunset over Nesebar was lovely. Enjoying our stay very much, would highly recommend, all the staff are lovely, theirs is lots of choice to eat and drink. Not to mention the location, you can join the locals in walking down to Old Nessebar for the evening where there are many restaurants, coffee shops, and lots of retail opportunities. Or new Nessebar has as much to offer in great bakeries, coffee shops and a really good pet shop!

The hotel itself is getting to the stage where it could do with refurb however it is still an excellent hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I am disabled and use crutches the bar and restaurant staff would get my drinks, or take them to a table for me. The receptionists were as helpful as they could be. The food was excellent very good selection. The only down was that the fish was cooked next to the fries which meant they had a fishy taste and I don't do fish. The rooms are a good size and the roof top pool and bar has an excellent view over the Black sea and Nessebar old town. Air conditioning in the room could be better. The position of the hotel is excellent for visiting the UNESCO World Heritage town of Nessebar and there are plenty of busses to take you into Sunny Beach (not so nice).

This is not a 4 star . It is super clean and cocktails are amazing food is very poor not much selection. And very basic. Location is fab. The variety of food was not great . Lunch was better than tea. We ended up having to eat out a lot . The door system for the room also not great we ended up going back 4 times till it worked correctly

We were a little concerned about some of the reviews but there was no need to worry. The hotel location was great a few minutes walk to the old town (bit of an incline walking back) with a small beach (no sunbeds) on your doorstep and a bigger one (with sunbeds) a stroll away. It's also in a quiet area. The hotel is lovely, spotlessly clean, big rooms all with some sort of sea view. Staff were excellent a special mention for Petra on reception who always greeted customers with a big smile and was vey helpfull. A lot of people complained about the food which was your normal fare for all inclusive and could be a little repetitive, a lot of Pork dishes. That said you could always find something to eat. We also ate out locally on a couple of nights. The view from the skybar was lovely. I would suggest nightly entertainment in the downstairs Marina bar rather than just two nights a week, also on the Marina bar I couldn't understand why that closed at 11 and the sky bar at 12 most people went from the early bar to the late bar after it closed. The carpet on our floor could do with replacement or relaying at least. If getting taxis ask hotel reception as taxis tend to overcharge when picked up locally. A 20 Lev journey to Sunny Beach became a 30-50 Lev journey and a trip from the hotel to the ferryport that was 5 Lev turned in to a 30 Lev journey to go back when not calling hotel recommend company. Always ask price of journey before getting in. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and great value would definitelyrecommend for a stay in Nessebar.

When we first arrived to the hotel everything seemed to be perfect however after staying for slightly longer my family and I were left wondering if we were staying at the same hotel as all of the positive reviews on here. Firstly the room, the walls are extremely thin , you can hear everything that the rooms either side of you are doing/saying and I mean EVERYTHING. The bed is also not the comfiest , 2 single beds pushed together and extremely squeaky! The food is absolutely awful! Very clearly recycled food , food from breakfast being used again for lunch and food left over from lunch being repurposed for dinner! Pizza and chips being served for most meals with some sort of pork or chicken in mystery sauce. We ended up having to go out to eat as we were living off pizza and bread and butter! The “show cooking stations” is one chef putting freezer chips into a deep fat fryer and making omelettes at breakfast, but don’t dare ask for one as the chef will be extremely annoyed at you. They also apparently do 3 theme nights but you would never be able to tell. The upstairs pool is very confusing , there is no where that gets sun for the full day , 90% of the sunbathing areas are in the shade! People getting up early just to get one of the 2 areas where you can actually sunbathe. Also whilst we were here part of the roof collapsed above the sunbeds at the sky bar. A large chunk of the roof fell off and smashed into the sunbeds! Luckily no one was sat there as they could’ve ended up seriously injured! This is extremely concerning and a massive health and safety risk. Overal I would not recommend this hotel to anyone , we had an awful weeks holiday here and we couldn’t wait to leave! The only positive is the location of the hotel as you are close to the old town etc.

Very easy going hotel but having used the sol chain before I thought it would be upto the same standard but it's not The alcohol inclusive drinks are so far poor quality the food is warm at best With a little more effort from sol this would be a great hotel No eveing entertainment most night If you early in for dinner then you might catch a bit of entertainment whilst dining The bars and restaurants around the hotel are good Nessebar is walking distance from hotel so is sunny beach

Just the place to chill ~ we would highly recommend this hotel in beautiful Bulgaria, from the cleaners to management everything was first class and they couldn't do enough for you which was much appreciated. I emailed in advanced as have mobility issues and everything possible was done to address this for which i was grateful. We travelled with jet2 and the rep visited regularly and was also helpful and informative what she didn't know the hotel staff did. Thank you we had an amazing time.

Having got past the first week with some H&S issues ie Balcony not secure and wife nearly fell through it was have hardly fixed but one week later the same happened again and we nearly lost her for a second time. This is not funny as even though the insurance would be nice it's better to have her around, not much care from reception or general manager. This needs expertly fixed and not some handyman from the hotel. Been here a week on all inclusive and barman decides that serving rum (Bulgarian) all of a sudden is not acceptable although I had it 6 nights out of 9. He then went on to insult me and make both my wife and I to feel at unease. 2 days later he verbally insulted me in the packed restaurant before I had the chance to ask for a drink. Having spoken to the general manager the following day nothing I feel was done to rectify both issues. The hotel felt it appropriate to offer as compassion free use safety deposit box, 1 bottle cheap fizzy wine and a box of hotel complementary chocolates all equating to about £30 (60lev) My wife and I where approach by a member of hotel staff and where left to feel at unease regarding barman and felt monster where we moved around the hotel being followed by hotel staff eyes. I know the hotel reception manager will read this and view her comments but be warned the management have not assisted with the ruining of the second week of our holiday. The true fact is the hotel is medico but fit for purpose and if the above had not happened I would have problems rated them higher. I take H&S seriously and feel a fatality may happen if the balcony is not fixed properly room 403

Nessebar is a beautiful world heritage city on the black sea. If you're visitng the area, much better stay here than the deplorable sunny beach. The marina palace, however, is a poor quality hotel. Unattentive, surly staff, broken air conditioning, terrible, insipid food, uncomfortable beds and plenty of roaches. The hotel is supposed to be 4 star, but i would seriously consider giving it one. There are at least two other better hotels in the immediate vicinity, but i'm not sure if tripadvisor allows me to name them.

Fantastic location with great views from the roof bar overlooking the old town, good size rooms with good sea views and clean throughout. Food selection was very good and the free al-acarte meal is well worth it, we would visit this hotel again.
