Хозяин отеля - чудесный человек. Он помогал нам со всем, с чем бы мы к нему ни обратились! Где нам поменять деньги? Он поменял (и по выгодному курсу!). Где нам арендовать мопед? И с этим помог. Организовал трансфер до аэропорта на тук-туке. Очень приятная зеленая территория. Хороший вкусный завтрак (рисовая каша, фрукты, омлет, тосты с маслом и джемом, чай). Современный номер со всем необходимым. Будем еще раз на Шри-Ланке - обязательно вернемся к такому гостеприимному человеку!

Dies war mein dritter Aufenthalt im Goldi Sands, ehrlich gesagt, das letzte Mal war vor fast 20 Jahren, aber ich hatte damals eine so tolle Zeit, dass ich hohe Erwartungen hatte. In den vergangenen 20 Jahren wurde das Hotel umgestaltet, die Größe verdoppelt, die Anzahl der Swimmingpools verdoppelt, ein Aufzug hinzugefügt und die Strandbungalows entfernt. All dies war meiner Meinung nach ein kluger Schachzug und hat sich gelohnt. Was sich geändert hat, ist der Service und das Catering. Die Angestellten sind natürlich alle sehr höflich, nur dass sie sich nicht mehr so ​​viel Mühe gegeben haben wie früher. Wir kamen spät an, da unser Flug Verspätung hatte, ich wollte nur ein paar Flaschen Bier, sie kamen zwar an, aber ich musste fast betteln. Ich buchte an der Rezeption ein Taxi zum Flughafen, aber sie vergaßen, dass es den Kellnerinnen beim Abendessen eher um den harten Verkauf als um das Servieren ging. Soweit ich mich erinnern kann, war das Frühstück früher großartig, das heutige Frühstück ist jeden Tag das Gleiche und es mangelt an Fantasie, es ist schlecht präsentiert und beinhaltet den schlechtesten Kaffee aller Zeiten. Das Hotel bietet eine verwirrende Anzahl von Tarifen an, von All-Inclusive bis hin zu nur Übernachtung. Das heißt, wenn man ein Getränk kaufen möchte, dauert es ewig, da man seinen „Status“ überprüfen muss und wenn man bar zahlt, muss man zur Kasse gehen sie tragen keinen Schwimmer. Die Zimmer haben eine gute Größe, sind sauber und komfortabel, aber einfach. Alles in allem ist es immer noch ein gutes Hotel, aber leider gehört es nicht mehr zur unvergesslichen Kategorie.

晚上到，早上離開的，就吃了早飯，沙灘上轉了一圈，沒去泳池。 房間： 很大，床有兩米寬（後來發現所有jetwing的酒店大床，都是2米大床）、 我們原本要加一張床的，前台小哥建議我們先check房間，再看要不要加床……… 他可以多給一床床單in case三個人一張被不舒服——— 大大的好評。 推開陽台門直麪沙灘大海，幾棵椰樹點綴，濤聲隆隆，心情大好。 房間設施有年頭了，但衞生程度不錯，沒有牙刷提供，因為一樓且靠海，蚊子非常非常非常多，請務必帶蚊子水 早餐不錯，斯里蘭卡餐飲水平很低，一開始覺得一般般，後來走完全程，住了更多更好的酒店之後發現，這裏還不錯———— 重點是這一家非常非常便宜啊！相比起其他動輒1800+ 的jetwing，性價比爆棚了。（當然整體水平肯定是低於jetwing yala 以及lighthouse的）

Insgesamt bin ich recht zufrieden. Die Lage ist leicht zu finden, es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe und der Service ist auch gut. Gepäck kann kostenlos aufbewahrt werden. Die Klimaanlage ist normal, aber der Ton ist etwas laut. Verbesserungspotenzial gibt es bei der Hygiene der Bettwäsche usw. Das Gesamterlebnis ist gut.

Das Zimmer ist sauber, und der Boss ist sehr freundlich und hilft uns immer großzügig, unseren Bedürfnissen gerecht zu werden. wir schätzen es wirklich. Danke und wir kommen wieder, wenn es eine Chance gibt.

I stayed one night before I flew out from Sri Lanka. The room was clean and had good air con. Wifi was strong. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The price of my meals and beer was very good and the food tasty. I was well looked after and had a good chat about cricket and Shane Warne. For a very small fee i was able to organise late check out (8.00 pm) The drop-off at the airport was included in the price of the stay. This place was excellent value for money.

Das Hotel war unser letztes Hotel der Rundreise. Es lag für uns viel zu sehr im Abseits. Man brauchte eine halbe Stunde mit dem TukTuk um irgendwo zu sein. An der Rezeption arbeiten unfreundliche Menschen. Nur hier wurden wir so unfreundlich empfangen. Das Frühstück schlechter als in anderen Hotels, Abendessen ebenso. Wir waren zum Monsun hier und wir hatten auch eine Nacht einen sehr starken Regen, so dass unsere Zimmer unter Wasser standen. Wir wischten mit unseren Handtüchern trocken. Niemand half oder schloss Fenster oder wischte die Flure, so dass alles nass und slippy war. Am nächsten Tag gab es vorsichtshalber keine Nachfragen. Handtücher bekamen wir auch nicht, vermutlich liegen sie noch im Flur. Ich würde das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen.

This place is excellent for a stay. Especially if coming to or from the international airport. Our welcome was friendly and efficient. The room is excellent, pristine and equipped for all that is needed for our overnight stay. The bed is also very comfortable. Breakfast was brought to the room however I chose to have this at the small table and chairs outside of the room on a small terrace. A perfect place for this. The breakfast is more than adequate, also caters for me as a vegetarian. I asked for a knock at my door to be woken up in case I had slept thrmy alarm and this was given. Such a delightful place to stay. A small courtyard garden with a static table and seats if wanted. Garden lights during the evening make this a pretty area to relax. Tea, coffee and water are available in the room. There was air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The accommodation is located down a side road from the main road. This means it’s nice and quiet. For dinner we decided to walk jumping a few metres to another hotel which served food. However, Faith Hotel do have menus for which to order food which would be delivered if required. Alternatively, we were offered an option of being taken to another place if we wished. We had booked for 2 separate airport transfers as we were travelling on separately to different places. This was organised by and with the owner dropping us all in good time. I noted while at the stay, information regarding trips to places and even tours can be organised. Additionally there is information on an Ayurveda treatments option at a place called Ayurveda Villa which really looked good. This had different packages with a stay including food consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor to decide on the relevant treatments for your package. To use up our rupees we were able to pay part cash, part card which was so convenient. This couple really do offer everything in a stay at Airport Faith Hotel. They are passionate about what they do, are committed to making your stay the best. They have everything available or on hand and can’t do enough to make your stay a happy and good one. I highly recommend a stay here.

Ziegler Cottage was our comfortable home for a few days while we visited Negombo. It is easy to reach from the airport, and you can take tuk-tuks or the bus into Negombo. Our room had a sea view and a balcony with sea breezes making airconditioning unnecessary. The waves were too high for us to swim in the sea but the pool made up for it. Food, especially the fruit selection at breakfast, was very good. Staff were responsive and very hard-working. The hotel can organize trips--our all-day outing to a spice plantation, the Ridee Viharaya Temple, and the elephant park was perfect. Everyone goes out of their way to accommodate your needs. The hotel owner drove us to our destination when our ride did not show up. Thank you for a memorable stay! we look forward to returning.

Schön ruhig. Gemütliches Zimmer mit grossem Bad und einem äusserst bequemen Bett. Sehr schöner Garten mit grossem Pool. Die bedachte Terrasse ist sehr gemütlich und der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Die Frühstückskarte ist reichhaltig, es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Beim Dinner sitzt man auf der Terrasse, der Garten ist mit Fackeln erleuchtet und es ist sehr romantisch. Die Abendkarte ist ansprechend, es ist für jeden etwas dabei und alles ist sehr frisch und hervorragend zubereitet. Der Manager des Hotels ist anwesend und stellt sicher, dass alle Gäste zufrieden sind. Alle Mitarbeiter sind stets freundlich und hilfsbereit.
