Napoliamo Guest House

We chose to stay here because of the very good reviews and they were all correct! For 5 nights we had the perfect stay. Here our reasons for you to stay at Napoliamo. Location. It is absolutely perfect to reach anywhere. The restaurants and shops of the spanish quarter? Ten minutes to your right. The Old Centre restaurants and shops? Ten minutes to your left. Metro? 100 metres. Bus stop to Railways station? Across the road. Port ? Ten minutes ahead of you. It doesnt matter where you want to go, Napoliamo is in the middle for you and there's even a small Gelato store next door for when you return from those hot trips. Secondly, the accomodation. Through the secure entrance (between the two blue display boxes - making it easy to find) you'll find a cool entrance, up the stairs on the left (or use the lift - key required) to the third floor and you'll find the main door to Napoliamo. Inside, you have the reception area and breakfast room and then to the right are all the rooms. The themed rooms were perfect for us. We had room 1 - Pulcinella. Very clean room with a very wide and comfortable bed and usual expected furniture. Very clean bathroom/shower area and a balcony that overlooks the main street. Double glazing means when closed, the noise of the city is gone and the shutters keep out the sun. Aircon will keep your room lovely and cool. Perfect quiet night sleep and when you go out each day, the staff return to clean and make your room lovely. Thirdly -the staff. As people have said, Mario is a very good host. Friendly and very helpful. You want airport transfer arranged? No problem. Restaurant recommendation? Maps? Buses? Whatever you need he can help you. Even if you are not there - you can call/whatsapp him and he will help you. A super host. Anna-Maria will look after you at breakfast time and when Mario isn't around. I think she's the real boss! ;) A lovely lady who is like your mother. Her English is about the same level as my Italian but it never stopped us sharing information, stories about our dogs, grandchildren etc. A real gem of an employee. So, go to Napoliamo with great confidence - You'll have a super time!

This was genuinely one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We travel all around the world and this is our 11th trip to Italy. We've stayed in some great places, but this one was exceptional. Mario was a brilliant host, and greeted us warmly. He has renovated this place to a really high standard with many personal touches. It has the feel of a place that has been carefully thought out and renovated with great care. Anna Maria greeted us every morning with a great breakfast. She was warm, kind and personable and really spent time connecting with us. When she learned I eat a gluten free diet, she went out especially to get me items for breakfast! We stayed in 5 different locations on this trip but this one we will always remember. It was more like staying with a warm and kind local family. We have already recommended this place to friends and we will definitely be back. LOVED IT!

We stayed for one night here. It's a BnB, 21st century style. We liked it. Only 25 yards (and flat!) to the Metro. You can also walk to a LOT from here. Its price seems competitive - we ended up here because the Marriott Renaisance wanted 249 EUR for a similar room overall. Here, you feel like you get some of the Italian experience for half the price and maybe in a better location. What's not to like?!

Mario is a kind and very nice man. He helped us with everything we needed, explained to us about the city of Naples, and beautiful places to visit, and even made sure to order us a taxi back to the airport. Beyond that, the room was clean and tidy. Every day the room is cleaned, the bed is made and towels are changed. The experience was amazing, we were very happy that we made a good choice. Mario e Annamaria due persone splendide che ci hanno accolto e fatti sentire a casa fin da subito, dandoci anche consigli molto preziosi per organizzare il nostro soggiorno. La posizione é perfetta perché c'é tutto a portata di mano, é a circa 20/25 minuti a piedi dalla stazione, a 5 minuti dalla spaccanapoli e quindi dal centro storico di Napoli, e i quartieri spagnoli sono raggiungibili a piedi in 15 minuti, in ogni caso c'è la fermata della metro a pochi metri. Veramente molto consigliato, sicuramente se dovessimo ritornare a Napoli sapremo già dove soggiornare, grazie mille a Mario e Annamaria!

La struttura è molto bella, dotata di ogni comfort. È in una posizione strategica vicina sia al centro (con una piacevole camminata di ca 15' si raggiunge Via Toledo, Quartiere Spagnoli ecc) che alla Metro Fermata Università della linea 1. Dei immediati dintorni si trovano vari ristoranti e bar. La camera era molto spaziosa e pulita, il letto comodo e una grande doccia. Buona colazione con briches e sfogliatine super. Ma la nota saliente è la gentilezza e disponibilità di Mario (titolare del B&B) e della Sig.ra Annamaria che tutte le mattine ti accoglie con un grande sorriso. Ci si sente a casa!
