I stayed at this hotel for an educator’s conference, but was disappointed with security throughout my stay. During the workshops all participants had to pack up their bags and take all belongings with them during breaks and lunch because we were told nothing was safe, as well as my final day someone accessed my room to drop off water (though I asked them not to) and scraped the back of and redeemed a video game card I had left on the bed (a gift for my son). If you stay here, you need to make sure that the safe in the room is functioning (mine beeped constantly and did not work) and make sure anything of value is locked up. Be sure to be on the lookout for extra charges, since I put towels inside the safe to muffle the beeping but they charged $50 to my card, even though I took the towels out of the safe and left them on the floor when I left. The staff was slow to react, and the manager did not respond to any of my emails, but a front desk manager then did (after a little under a week). They reversed the towel charge (saying it was done in “good faith”) but said they had no proof of the stolen card, though they said they were sorry this happened. Beware and be careful at this hotel. It should be noted that I made every effort to resolve this with them, and the only thing offered was giving “Bonvoy points” which I have no desire to use at any time in the future.

Wir sahen den Sonnenuntergang, indem wir in die Westhalle gehen und dann den nächsten Tag vom Balkon unseres Zimmers den Sonnenaufgang sehen. Das Frühstücksraum befindet sich im 3. Stock und ist vom check-in zugänglich, so dass sie Ihre Zimmernummer bitten, sicher zu sein, dass Sie nicht einfach aus der Straße wandern. Der Parkplatz ist in einer sicheren Garage über die Straße und ist $10 pro Tag Selbstpark und $25 pro Valet. Es gibt auch eine Gebühr für den Wasserpark, der im ersten Stock ist, aber wir haben es nicht verwendet, so kann ich nicht kommentieren. Perfekt für einen Spaziergang am Strand, die Fahrt zum riesigen Ferris-Rad (Eye) am Strand. Wir hätten es mehr genossen, wenn wir wählen, eine zweite Nacht zu bleiben, aber waren besorgt, zu gehen. Frühstück war ausgezeichnet.

Wir haben mehr als 12 Jahre in diesem Hampton verblieben und haben es immer genossen. In diesem Jahr gab es zu viele Probleme zu ignorieren. Einchecken war sehr langsam, wir warten fast eine Stunde auf eine Eincheckung, was nie zuvor geschehen ist. Die Lifts brauchen eine gewisse Wartung. Es klingt, als ob es eine Menge Sand im Türbahnstrecken gibt und nicht sicher, ob sie während wir da waren gereinigt wurden. Das Zimmer, das wir endlich bekam, war schön, obwohl die Sofa musste gereinigt werden und das Zimmer konnte aktualisiert werden. Das Frühstück war gut, das übliche Hampton-Mahl. Sie haben 2 Bereiche zum Frühstück zu servieren, da es sich um ein großes Hotel handelt, aber nur ein Bereich war offen, so das Frühstück war sehr besetzt. Die Frühstücksbediensteten machten eine große Aufgabe, jedoch zu halten. Der Pool wurde am ersten Tag nicht gereinigt, der am Montag war, so dass Sie sich vorstellen können, wie viel Sand in ihm war nach einem besetzten Wochenende. Auch mich frage, ob das Wasser für Reinigkeit getestet worden war. Das Duschegebiet, als Sie aus dem Strand kamen, war nicht für die 4 Tage, die wir da waren, so waschen Sie Ihre Füße nicht gut. Das ist wahrscheinlich der Grund, warum die Pools voll Sand sind. Die Fahrstufen werden von den Pflanzen aus den Sanddünen überwältigt und scheinen in der Reparatur zu sein. Aber wahrscheinlich war das störendste die Hundesituation. Wir fühlen wirklich, Hilton hat einen großen Fehler gemacht, um Hunde auf all ihre Eigenschaften zuzulassen. Diese Eigenschaft ist nicht für Hunde eingerichtet, um ihre ”Geschäfte” zu machen. Die einzigen bequemen Grass-Orte sind direkt an den Schwimmbad und ich meine sehr nahe Nähe. Jeder, der jemals einen Hund hatte weiß, dass unabhängig davon, wie gut Sie versuchen, nach einem Hund, viele Male gibt es ”Rest” hinterlassen, nicht zu erwähnen alle Urinieren sie tun im Gras. Wir saßen auf unserem Balkon und beobachteten Hunde, die das Gras als ihr Badezimmer verwenden und dann beobachteten Menschen durch das Gras und kommen in den Pool. Nicht ein guter Aufbau überhaupt! Ich habe wirklich zögern, dieses Jahr zu bewerten, aber ich habe das Hotel wirklich braucht, um wieder zu bekommen, was sie das erste Hotel in Myrtle Beach für Jahre machte. Ich bin nicht sicher, ob wir ihnen eine andere Chance geben, was traurig ist, weil wir dieses Hotel wirklich geliebt haben!

This was out third stay at this property. Our first stay was when is first opened. We stayed for 4 nights and overall had a great experience. Star at the front desk was really nice and very informative. Here are the Pros & Cons of this hotel. Pros: -They have done a decent job keeping up with the maintenance of the property. -The lobby/common area is bright, modern, and offers an amazing view of the beach. Wether you are eating breakfast or just want to read a good book in an inviting atmosphere -Room-spacious (we used suite rewards to upgrade to an executive double queen studio), full kitchen, decor was modern and flooring allows room to look and smell clean since there is no wall to wall carpeting. -Large balcony-can store beach chairs and umbrella, while still having room to sit -Ocean view and Oceanfront rooms both offered nice views (we have stayed in both types) -Location-quiet less populated area of the beach. This may be a con for some because there is not a lot to do within walking distance. -Fitness area-modern equipment, spacious enough. Included ellipticals, treadmills, weight machine, balls, etc. Cons -Bathroom- spacious, but not sure why there is only half of a shower door. I also wish that the shower head was detachable. -Breakfast could be improved. When we visited a couple of years ago the buffet had things like Brie cheese & chocolate croissants. No such luck this time. The quality is not great (eg. tasteless eggs, watery oatmeal, limited fruit selection). -Housekeeping-this is an extended stay location so they no longer clean your room everyday. You only get a “refresh” (remove trash and replace towels) after 3 days. I wish Marriott would remove the option in the APP for housekeeping everyday for these hotels. You opt in only to find out it’s not possible. -Parking garage-it’s tight and challenging to maneuver, but I appreciate that it’s covered, easy to get to, and there is ample parking. There are 15 min check in areas on the first floor which are helpful. The problem is that people still double park and cause traffic to back up. -Beach-the area in front of the hotel is very rocky (bring water shoes). I also did not like that the chair rental company set up their items in a line (chairs & umbrella) obscuring the view for everyone else. We were forced to set up our chairs behind theirs and did not have as nice a view of the water. Overall, we still like this property and will eventually come back.

The hotel is lovely. My room was fine except for ”rust” in the bath tub. I could not take a bath. I did not report it intitially was there for a conference and did not have time nor did I want to change rooms and was not sure there were rooms available. Boy, did the clerk at the front desk ream me when I checked out and mentioned it and wanted them to make amends. She said it was my fault I did not report it and said I called down on the second day to the front desk from my room phone and it rang and rang. She saId I could have stopped by during my conference. I said I want to speak to a manager - the manager was nice and after repeating multiple times saying it wasn't intentional - I cut her off and said I want a meal comped. She provided a $40 credit. Obviously, Mariott doesn't train their employees that the customer is right.

Als ich ankam, war ich an das RCI-Büro gerichtet. Ich ging ins Büro und wurde von einer jungen Dame sofort erzählt, dass ich im Halle gehen musste und sie würden mir etwas Papierarbeit bringen. Kein Willkommen, keine Hallo oder etwas Gutes. Ich schrieb es aus, dass sie einen schlechten Tag hatte. Ich bemerke, dass es im Zimmer keine Küchenartikel gab, so ging ich am Montag zurück und fragte, und das erste, was sie sagte, war ”Gut, wir haben dir ein Küchenpaket gegeben”. Sie tat es nicht, weil ich, wenn sie es tat, nicht meine Zeit verschwenden würde. Eine Meinungsverschiedenheit begann. Sie war sehr grob und nur eine Art Paket auf dem Zähler und sagte, sie sind frei, nehmen Sie einfach diese. Das sagte mir Samstag war kein schlechter Tag. Diese Person braucht nicht im Kundenservice. Der Kundenservice war nicht wo in beiden Interaktionen mit ihr gefunden werden konnte. Darüber hinaus, RCI Gast nicht Pool Handtücher, wusste nicht, dass. Keine Ofen-Pads und der Essensraumtisch war Metall und sehr fest. Ich schraubte den Tisch, aber es war immer noch fest. In meinen 24 Jahren Zeit-Sharing-Reise habe ich nie einen Metalltisch und Stühle (alte auch) in einem Zeit-Sharing-Zimmer gesehen. Zuerst hatten wir auch keine Handtücher. Das Zimmer selbst war OK und die Aussicht auf den Ozean war hervorragend. Die Musik aus der Bar erlaubte uns nicht, bis nach 11 Uhr zu schlafen. Vielleicht würden Lärmgarten auf der Patiotür helfen.

Wir würden sicher noch einmal hier bleiben, nachdem wir hier in diesem Sommer ein langes Wochenende verbringen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist schön mit rotierenden Optionen täglich, und während sie genug Sitze haben, kann es schwer zu finden einen Tisch. Wir genossen, dass der Kaffeeshop tatsächlich Starbucks trinken serviert!! Und zwei verschiedene Restaurants auf der Website. Die Valet Parkplatz war ideal, sie haben selbst parken, die billiger ist - aber wir bevorzugen Valet für Komfort. Der Gäste- und Zimmerservice war rechtzeitig und das Essen war gut! Unsere Familie liebte den Poolbereich, da es 3 verschiedene Poolbereiche mit Lebenswächtern außerhalb hatte, was schön war, wenn Sie Kinder haben! Es gibt Handtücher in der Poolzone zu nehmen - also brauchen Sie nicht einmal Handtücher zu bringen!

I stayed at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort from September 30 through October 3 for a business trip and had a mix of positive and surprising experiences. While the property itself is beautiful, there were a few issues that stood out. First, I was surprised by the lack of towels. Despite staying for 3 days with another person, there were only two sets of towels provided. I asked the housekeeper in the hall for more, and she told me they didn’t have any. She promised to bring some to the room, but after returning from my site visit, there were still no towels. I ended up going to the front desk, where I was thankfully able to get two face towels. There was also only one small bar of soap in the bathroom, which didn’t feel adequate for a stay of this length. In addition, the tables in the lobby were dirty during my stay, which added to the feeling that housekeeping could be improved. I also received a late-night call from marketers downstairs, trying to sell me a pitch for a sales presentation. As this was a business trip, not a personal one, I found the timing a bit inappropriate. Another issue was the missing screen door on the balcony, which meant that when I tried to enjoy the ocean breeze, bugs ended up getting into the room. Additionally, on Wednesday, I was trying to have a virtual work meeting when I heard loud banging and scooting noises. After calling the front desk, I was told there was no maintenance going on, but security checked it out. It was distracting and unusual for such a well-known property. On a positive note, the property is nice, and I did enjoy my stay overall, but given the issues I encountered, I had higher expectations for a Hilton resort. I travel to Myrtle Beach monthly for work and was hoping this would become my preferred hotel due to its beachfront location, but these details left me reconsidering my choice.
