Hotels mit Frühstück in Munnar

Wir haben dieses Hotel für ein paar Tage für unsere Munnar-Reise reserviert und waren froh mit dem Aufenthalt. Wir haben eine Upgrade mit Berg und Fluss (ein Fluss) Blickzimmer, das dort ist USP. Das Essen war gut, aber das Frühstück war für beide Tage die gleiche. Das Hotel ist nicht sehr weit vom Marktplatz entfernt. Das Hotelpersonal hat ein Taxi für unsere Sehenswürdigkeiten zu einem angemessenen Preis, insgesamt einen erniedrigten Aufenthalt.

Stopped here for a light lunch, the restaurant is at the back of the building so no views. Staff were friendly enough. Sadly, kitchen staff don't really understand the concept of sandwiches. We ordered 2 soups, 4 different sandwiches and 2 portions of fries. The soup and fries arrived first. Then a cheese and tomato sandwich arrived, on burned toast, topped with cucumber and cherries! An egg sandwich arrived a few minutes later, fried egg on burned toast with the same toppings. A chicken sandwich arrived 5 minutes later, shredded chicken, loads of onion and mayo on toast. And finally the club sandwich arrived...6 slices of toast, 2 with chicken and onion, 2 with cheese and mushrooms and 2 with cucumber and tomato!! And all plates came with additional fries, the waiter should have said! The menu doesn't make it clear that the sandwiches are toasted and chef should ensure they are not all burned. Service was slow and staggered. Not somewhere that I could recommend for a light lunch.

Wir haben 2 Nächte im Landy Queen in Munnar verbracht. Das Landy Queen ist fußläufig innerhalb von 5 -10 Minuten vom Busterminus in Munnar entfernt. Unser Zimmer war zum Innenhof hin gelegen, sodass *** nachts bis auf das Wasserrauschens des nahegelegenen Baches nichts gehört hat. Unser Zimmer war in etwa 11 Quadratmeter groß. *** hatte zwar nicht so viel Platz im Zimmer, aber *** hatte ein langes Bett wo mein Mann (ca. 1,90m groß) von der Länge reinpasste. Das Zimmer war sehr sehr sauber, allerdings hat das warme Wasser während unseres Aufenthalts nicht funktioniert. Ein Föhn war vorhanden. Der Hotelmanager war sehr freundlich und engagiert. Er hat uns sogar früh morgens kostenlos zu unserem Wanderausflug gefahren. Den Wanderausflug haben wir über ihn vermittelt bekommen. Ich kann das Landy Queen wärmstens empfehlen.

For me, this was such a lovely experience. If you’re coming here for the outstanding views, peace and quiet, and very kind and helpful staff, you will have an excellent time as I did. The hotel offers a very low cost daily early morning hike to the peak of the mountain ($6) and a similarly low cost daily early evening walk through the tea plantations just below the hotel ($2.50). Note that depending on who you go with, they may know more or less about the local ecology, and the tea process. If you go just expecting a lovely walk, you won’t be disappointed, but if you’re looking for a naturalist talk you may need to book elsewhere. The valley view rooms in the Cliff Resort (note that this is embedded in the larger Deshadan resort) are just to die for. Amazing balcony to sit and just watch the light change on the hills or read, meditate or do yoga. I didn’t use the wifi much so no idea if it’s fast enough for streaming but was plenty to check social media and email - important as most Indian carriers have no service this far up the hill. Breakfast buffet is delightful with about 5-6 different main options daily, and deliriously good grape juice. The staff are uniformly kind and go out of their way to assist. The hotel might not be a good choice for every traveler. It is not accessible to those with mobility issues - stairs and steep climbs everywhere. Also to get these views it’s pretty distant from literally anything else, so you can’t just easily wander into town. It’s about a 2 hour walk to the center of Old Munnar from the property, or a half hour in a rickshaw. Also note that due to the distance (and the steepness of the road to the resort) it can take anywhere from 20-70 minutes for a rickshaw, jeep or taxi to arrive after calling - plan ahead! Note that the resort really caters mostly for rest and relaxation; it’s not really set up as a local travel agency that organizes local tours. They’re happy to make phone calls and order taxis but you will need to do your own research to find out which local attraction are of most interest to you. Last, you’ll practice mindfulness every time you open and close the door, as if you let it close automatically there’s a tremendous boom. Hot water was generally available but not 100% even after letting the tap run 5 minutes.

Große Zimmer, Easy approach , Abgelegen von der Stadt mit bewältigender Entfernung.Personal sehr hilfreich und lächelnd. Frühstück Auswahl sehr gut . verfügbare Auswahl aus verschiedenen Regionen.Rein Restaurant, lächelndes Gesicht und hart arbeitendes Team 👌👌👍👍

Die Lage ist hervorragend, in einem abgegrenzten Bereich auf dem Weg zur Tata Teepackungsfabrik in Pallivasal. Das Eigentum ist durch malerische Teepflanzungen umgeben, bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf die aatukad Wasserfälle und den Tal. Die Küchenerfahrung ist außergewöhnlich, mit hygienischen Lebensmitteln, die auf der Grundlage von Made-to-Order zubereitet werden. Es ist jedoch wichtig zu beachten, dass die Gatstraße, die zum Grundstück führt, eng und eine starke Schleife hat, die Vorsicht für diejenigen, die nicht vertraut sind, mit dem Fahren in den Hügeln. Leider gibt es keine benannte Campingplatz wie angekündigt. Insgesamt liegt der Aufenthalt über dem Durchschnitt.

we stayed here for 4 days. The check in experience was made extremely smooth by Mr.Douglas and Mr.Prem who were very professional and polite. we took 2 super delux rooms.The rooms were well maintained clean and hygienic and were maintained throughout our stay. The staff members were friendly and courteous. Thank you le celecstium for being a part of our memorable vacation.

Location A beautiful location on main highway from Munnar to tea museums road. Ambiance An artistic interiors of reception desk and indoor hotel lobby area was very nice. It has a nice secnic garden, scenic restaurants with vire of tea gardes hill. Room A very good and specious room with tea plantation view and equipped with all modern amenities. Bathroom A good clean bathroom equipped with all basic amenities. Staff All staff was polite, kind. Service A room service was quick and prompt. Memorable stay at Hotel, happy to come again.
