One of the best - if not THE best - hotel experience/s we ever had!!! ❤️ This small and cute hotel is something like a jewel! The one staff we met was adorable and so kind and caring that we felt right at home and even felt sorry that after only one night we had to leave for our next spot to visit! The hotel is gorgeous, the service impeccable, the breakfast!!! OMG!!! Just look at the pictures and you'll know what I mean! The breakfast was a piece of art made with love 💕 But, originally, the hotel is called Ephesus Hotel and Art Gallery, because all the sculptures you can see on the pictures were made by the owner - it vibes so well with the whole Ephesus area and it's beautiful ancient buildings, ruins, ... We got a nice upgrade to a bigger room that we could directly leave through a door to the inner courtyard where breakfast was served - super convenient! The courtyard was so peaceful that we felt like hearing ancient whispers coming from all around us... So much history!!! So much to see and having this wonderful hotel as the base to discover from was the best choice we could make! No need to mention that the room was simple but very nice and clean, comfy and big bed, nice lighting, spacey bathroom with very modern standard. Aircon as well, but we preferred to use the big fan on the ceiling instead ... There was a little fridge in the room and the beverages inside were free to take, so we were happy about the water after a hot and sunny day ... ☀️ Also, whenever we were on the way in or out, we were offered coffee, tea, water, juice, fruits ... you can see the fruit plate that we happily enjoyed as a mid-day snack ... If you ever visit Selçuk and Ephesus Ancient Town - and you should because it's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - you should definitely book one, or even better two or three days at Ephesus Hotel and Art Gallery!!! Btw, it's also in easily walkable distance to the Ephesus Archeological Museum, the İsa Bey Mosque, St. Jean Church, the Ayasuluk Citadel, ... Another great plus was the fact that we could park the car right in front of the hotel. Last but not least, we received a beautiful little gift from the hotel employee who was taking care of us so kindly - she had sculptured the little elephant that you can see on the last picture by herself! A very special gift for us! 🎁 ❤️

Wir halten uns das Nisanyan Hotel in der Nähe des Ephesus-Berges. Von dem Hotel können Sie etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Stadt Shirence erreichen. Die Stadt ist nicht groß, aber es gibt einige lokale Merkmale kleiner Geschäfte und Restaurants und die Atmosphäre hat das Gefühl, dass das Land in der Türkei sehr gut ist. Wir haben die Zahlung dieses Mal auf einen zwei-Etagen-Kleinhaus aktualisiert. Der Zimmertyp ist sehr groß: Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer im zweiten Stock, das erste Stock ist ein Wohnzimmer und ein großes Kleinhaus. Der Gesamtraum ist sehr gut, es ist sehr komfortabel zu leben und ist sehr geeignet für einen Familienurlaub. Es muss jedoch deutlich gemacht werden, dass das Zimmer insgesamt ein ältester Sinn hat. Gebäude und Möbel sind veraltet. Wenn man sich um das ”neue Hotel” ”moderne Dekoration” kümmert, kann es vorzeitige psychologische Erwartungen bedarf. Aber wenn man sich diese Art von historischen und ländlichen Wohnungen anfühlt, könnte es interessant sein. Wir sind im Winter gefahren. Die Stadt schließt die Tür sehr früh am Abend, es gibt auch weniger Menschen, es gibt nicht viele Restaurants und Aktivitäten, die ausgewählt werden können. Gut im eigenen Restaurant des Hotels ist nicht schlecht, das Abendessen ist immer noch zufriedenstellend. Insgesamt ist dieses Hotel besser für eine langsame Urlaubsreise geeignet. Wenn Sie eine Nacht übernachten, kann es etwas schrecklich sein; aber wenn Sie hier 2 – 3 Tage wohnen, entspannen Sie sich langsam in den Bergen und sehen Sie die Umgebung, wird das Erlebnis besser sein. Der Sommer sollte eine heißere und freundlichere Atmosphäre sein.

The hosts were excellent from first point of contact to us checking out and leaving our luggage while we did some last minute sight seeing before our train departure. Breakfast was wholesome and filling and the lady in the kitchen was delightful. The patio area was beautiful, the room tastefully decorated and well maintained, as was the rest of the property. The owners made reservations for us at a restaurant nearby (Sofas) where we were treated to Turkish music and the best meal we had experienced in Turkey. We were given tips to enhance our visit to archeological sites and were even chaperoned to Ephesus at no extra charge. I did not want to leave but our onward travel was already organised. I thoroughly recommend Nilya and would gladly return on any future visit to Turkey. 11/10. thank you for making our Turkey experience that much better. Katrina

We had a really lovely stay at Hotel Mary's House. It's a beautiful hotel, most welcoming, and well-placed for public transport, restaurants and shops. The neighbourhood is peaceful and has a lot of charm. The many personal touches around hotel really do add up to create an exceptional experience. The host Mr Buğra (hope I've got that right after his very patient and informative explanation of Turkish spelling and pronunciation) was lovely and eager to share local information with us. Each day the delicious breakfast was beautifully served. The perfect place to stay if visiting Selçuk and Ephesus.

Das Haus liegt im Olivenhain am Berg, ähnlich einem chinesischen Bauernhaus, die Umgebung ist sehr gut, das Zimmer ist groß, das Frühstück ist auch sehr reichhaltig, es eignet sich eher für Selbstfahrertouren, bequemes Parken.

I had such a lovely stay at this boutique hotel — it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcome. The staff, who are part of the family that runs the hotel, were so friendly and kind. Their warmth really added a personal touch to the whole experience. I was immediately struck by how beautifully the space was designed. The decor was modern but with a tasteful Turkish influence that made it feel both elegant and authentic. My room was cool and comfortable thanks to great air conditioning, and the bed was one of the comfiest I’ve slept in during my travels. One of my favourite parts of each day was sitting by the pool and watching the sunset — the view was just stunning and made the whole place feel so peaceful and special. It’s an intimate space, never crowded, and perfect for relaxing. The location was also really convenient. I found it easy to visit Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis, and the staff were full of helpful suggestions for places to eat, local sights, and travel tips. Overall, I had an excellent experience. I felt truly looked after, and the hotel itself was beautiful and restful. I’d absolutely stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, peaceful stay with a personal touch!

Das B&B liegt auf einem Hügel, weit weg von OTOGAR und relativ nahe am Bahnhof. Allerdings ist es sehr schwierig zu Fuß zu gehen, da es bergauf geht und das Schleppen von Koffern wirklich anstrengend ist. Es wird empfohlen, vor dem Check-in ein Taxi zu nehmen oder das Hotel per E-Mail zu kontaktieren. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und holt Sie gerne mit dem Auto ab. Wenn Sie keine lokale Telefonkarte haben, können Sie für eine einfache Kontaktaufnahme vorab die WhatsApp des Chefs hinzufügen.

We stayed for four nights in this small town of Selcuk. This hotel has a good location, it is walking distance to Selcuk Otogar, local bus stop, saturday market and Selcuk Muzeum. Isabey Camii and Basilica of St John are within walking distance from this hotel. The famous Ephesus Archaeological Site is just 5 minutes drive using a local bus. The room is spacious and the beds are comfortable with clean bedsheets. Two bottles of mineral water are provided daily. A good breakfast is provided including boiled egg, cheese, steamed potato, bread, fruit juice, tea, etc. The environment is quiet and peaceful, it is enjoyable to stay here.

Что понравилось -1.Расположение буквально в 200 метрах от станции, что очень удобно. 2. Улица освещена, много ресторанчиков и мелких магазинчиков. 3. Напротив старый акведук и здание с историей Сельчука. 4. Хорошее отношение персонала - можно оставить багаж, помощь с багажом. 5. Великолепные завтраки и чудесный кофе. 6. Атмосферный отель. Что не подошло - если бы не это, то оценка была бы выше. Мне предоставили номер эконом, хотя я бронировала стандартный номер с балконом. Я поняла это позже, но менять номер уже не стали. Стандартные номера несколько больше, чище, элегантнее и удобнее. Также было бы приятно иметь балкончик. Тем не менее, когда окажусь в Сельчуке в следующий раз, скорее всего выберу уже этот привычный отель. Но просить буду всё-таки другой номер.
